Hoy en dia estan dando el mismo servicio en ambas clases con una encuesta, ya que pretenden poner a la venta dicho servicio en un futuro subire un video hablando de ello al final de mes, buen vuelo!

This was funny. I agree with you although airline sucks these days. It's only worth it to fly if its a very short flight. These 4 to 5+ hr flights expect to be disappointed.
Avianca service has definitely gone down. I remember they use to give decent hot food in all their fairs, Business class even better even if the trip was less then five hours. I flew on the a320neo back in 2019 and that was a great experience with a very updated interior and entertainment system. I remember flying Taca when I was a kid. Memories.
Avianca A320 neo is great, updated interiors. But is a reflect of what avianca was looking to become. Today this service have changed. I remember flying with TACA in their 767 to Guatemala, cartering was awesome. Good memories
I sm watching this knowing they got rid of business class seats & converted into premium economy seats ,right ? But,I wanted to see what Avianca lounge was like ! 👍 💜🥁🐉🎤🎶✈️💞
Yes, Avianca business class is only for their wide-body fleet now. I reviewed their lounge on a old video (before pandemic) from SAL-LIM in their A330 Business Class. Feel free to watch it!
The service has definetly gone down I remember flying economy with them we a while back we use to get hot meals now all we got when I flew with them in December was a bag of chips very disappointing
Interesting how they only gave you a bag of chips, they gave me a croissant sandwich cookies coffee and water from my flight to SAL to IAH in late august (regular economy, not plus or business) However the seat recliner button was broken so I couldn’t adjust the seat, and the entertainment screens never came down
Still, the flight cost like 400 bucks to start, and with that money I could’ve chosen a different airline Not to mention they charged me 240 usd in the round trip for extra baggage (from IAH to SAL we couldn’t get some stuff off the carry on bag and the bag didn’t fit in the dimensions they never told us in the phone call, from SAL to IAH I was bringing home some extra stuff)
All the services on different airlines have gone down on their quality of airline service!! I remember hot towels and hot meals on a 2hour flight…. That airbus has seen better days!!! I don’t think it was worth flying Business Class from SAL to LAX. My question is, how different would it be if you flew LAX to BOG on Avianca on their 787. I might do that one day!
Until 2021, in flights operated by Avianca Colombia, they had at least more drinking option in coach. For now, they're seeking to become a low cost carrier basically they downgrade the service to water & coffe... For now they're giving meal samples (the same in both clases) which soon they pretend to sell on board. Business Class is already gone in some of their aircrafts, being Premium class a seat upgrade only this means that you can choose row 1 having a economy class L fare tiket like I did, being in the same seats for somebody paying BC fare. They long haul product will be the 787 in flights longer than 6hrs, but they do offer just one hot meal in coach. I want to believe that they do offer at leas one hot meal in B/C in BOG-LAX-BOG route. Deflinitely miss those days with TACA onboard service. Thanks for watching :)
wow very unfortunate :_( i paid for my mom to fly to el salvador in business or upgraded i should say from sfo and from what she said it wasn't this bad. this is pretty unacceptable imo. we are flying again this month on avianca. at least i know what im up against now. thanks a bunch for the video. good stuff. 🙃
Hope it helps. Avianca for now is inconsistent in its service & fleet. I have recent videos showing that now they're serving the same in both classes and their different configurations in case you're interested. Thanks for watching
Waaooo avianca si que ha bajado su calidad, en 2018 viaje de L. Te deje un saludo en tu video. Lastimosamente concuerdo contigo, el servicio de economica antes era mejor que el de ejecutiva hoy en dia. La tripulacion en clase ejecutiva mantiene ese toque cordial y elegante. Pero en economica no es asi. Saludos!
Yo viaje en julio para Toronto en avianca, en clase económica y Para un vuelo de 5 horas, no hay entretenimiento a bordo, no tenes la opción para cargar el celular o cualquier dispositivo, a la vez solo te da un snack para un vuelo largo, y solo te daba café o te, y agua, gaseosa no había, pésimo servicio pero la única opción si quieres ir directo, normalmente me gusta hacer escala con la aerolínea america airlines, pero estaba casi con el mismo precio y los compre, pero nunca pensé en recibir un servicio malo, ya casi parece low cost.
The plane is very “basic”. For a 5 hour international flight . The food looks horrible . They usually wait an hour after takeoff on this flight for service

Having scratches on the outside of the window is normal from debris. As far as the service? 👎🏻. I’ve flown on avianca from LAX to BOG and back. Then MGA to GUA. I was also disappointed … not worth business class
Avianca El Salvador, that's Taca, we are not stupid is getting worst and worst just like Avianca from Colombia! No more room for your legs and no more entertainment on the seats and bad food! 😡
Still operated by TACA. But is not like Colombia. Avianca Colombia has slightly better service than TACA flights. For example, in AVA-COL you will get bottled water, in TACA you just get a cup. Is about to get worst, they are retrofitting aircraft interiors since they want to become a low-cost carrier...

I have a economy t/r which I only got a muffin in a 3 hour flight. But definitely miss that service with pillows and blankets in each seat.
