  • Awesome day on an awesome track. I was able to get a good start and despite a nasty crash that twisted my triple clamps and bars during the first lap I was still able to come away with my best result of the year so far. 3rd place Intermediate 2-stroke class and 35th overall out of 86 riders across all classes.

Nice riding! Are you still rocking the AER fork? What settings are you liking?

Thanks! Yea still on the air fork but i’m actually trying to upgrade to the 24 model that has the new spring fork. If that falls through then i’ll be upgrading this one to the WP 6500 spring kit I think. I run it at 141 PSI for my weight then standard settings on clickers with +2 in for the rebound.

@@WildNZ right on. Opening up the compression helped me get more comfortable - I have the same bike, wanted to upgrade too but market has been iffy, don’t want to take the hit just yet. I ended up throwing on the TSP head and tune and man it’s a sweet upgrade if you ever decide to go that route!

@@cannonsmith7429Did you go with the low, med or high compression head? What was the biggest thing you noticed doing it

@@WildNZ I got the medium insert to start, I’m typically riding under 4k’ elevation, no hard enduro, etc. I didn’t mess with the power valve at all before adding the head either just fyi but the bike overall is much, much snappier and it pulls forever. Currently set my power valve to 1.5mm which is on the lower end so there’s room to adjust but I don’t need to for now. The maps have less of a difference now I feel like but map 1 definitely more of a hit. Overall I think low end hit is a big improvement and top end pulls harder
