Came back to watch again. Kind of on my mind lately, especially Lai Yi. After watching Maiden Holmes, I needed a fix of more silk. I think Lai Yi did an incredible job on this role.

I like Lai Yi, he is a good actor, likable and charismatic. I look forward to his next series. As for this drama, interesting beginning of storytelling, capturing once interest right away, with chaotic atmosphere. Beautiful, elegant garments in the upper class, as well as creative design for common citizens, lower class.

Brilliant series. I usually like watching fantasy/xianxia, but this one, even if not fantasy, is truly well-made. Excellent costumes and acting, and the plot/characters are very interesting and so much fun.
