Logic World is a circuit simulator like no other. Immerse yourself in a bright and colorful world as you build circuits in 3D from a first-person perspective. Learn about the magic and wonder of digital logic, and grow your skills as you build machines of increasing complexity and grandeur.

I think this is its own game, not a Minecraft mod. Although to be honest, I also thought it was a mod at first.

Hurrah! I saw this game after making my first computer in Minecraft around 2 years ago now. I'm really looking forward for the release!
What was the word size, RAM capacity, and storage capacity (if any)? Did you use multiple ALUs? Did you also have a floating point unit, signal processing unit, GPU, etc.?
@@pizzainc.1465 Hell no haha, it was my first logic gate computer that I had ever tried to build and I had only basic c# and some moderate python knowledge at the time. It was integer only, 8bit word & addressing. It had 2 7 seg displays to output hex through. In Logic world however, i made a significantly more advanced CPU with multiplication and division (still 8bit though) as well as a 50x25 display with its own dedicated graphics processor. I wanted to make pong run on it but sadly my pc died and I lost the save file D: .More recently i have used a sim called VCB (Virtual circuit board) coz it runs insanely fast and i like how the circuits look a lot like real cpu dies. In that i have made 32 bit multipliers and dividers as well as significantly more advanced control logic (I had previously not been great at that, but Ben Eater and his 8bit cpu helped alot)
Sorry forgot to add ram etc, iirc it had 64B ram and 256B storage. It also had a smaller 16B register attached to the ALU (single ALU). I made it run a program to count up to 255, and then calculated fibonacci, i liked the counting one though as i was nice watching the display update slowly. It ran at 0.2hz (5s per tick). Pretty terrible given its weak processing power but minecraft never was designed for fast redstone

fun fact there is a game called digital logic sim its like this but you can make chips that have what you placed and you get to gradualy make better chips for also a hyper complex thing

This is such a sick idea. Removes all the busy work making circuits with red stone. The copy paste even looks like it’s not a total nightmare. It looks intuitive. Sweet
That's a lot easier than redstone minecraft i have problem wiring in minecraft i guess this is better the wires are more freedom

Is it ever planned to add physics, or 3d object manipulation to logic world? Imagine motors, actuators, etc

There aren't explicit OR gates, but feeding two signals into the same peg or wire will have the same effect :) -Jimmy
How much will it cost in different regions?
At launch, it will be $12 USD in the US. There will be appropriate regional pricing, making it cheaper in lower-income regions. Specifics will be posted closer to launch. The price will go up throughout Early Access as we ship major updates. -Jimmy

I know nothing about logic, but want to learn it. Can I play this game?
I'm making Logic World because I want folks like you to learn about logic. Currently the game is a pure sandbox, so if you don't know anything about logic, you will have to do a lot of experimenting and probably some external research. However, during Early Access we'll be adding challenges & a campaign mode designed to teach folks with no experience. There will be videos about those features on this youtube channel when they come out :)
So, you'll likely have a better experience if you wait until later to play the game, but if you're eager to dive in you can absolutely make it work right away.
One thing you might try: Logic World has a really friendly and knowledgeable community, and maybe you could find somebody to help guide/teach you. I bet if you joined the LW discord and asked around, somebody would be happy to play in multiplayer with you and show you some basic circuit concepts. Link to the discord is in the video description.

I am a little sad that it is a paid game because it seams so much fun and I think i would enjoy playing it A LOT, it is a very cool looking game and I think it is not only your dream game.

but im tired of "Sandbox" not being a sandbox... but being bad features with no gameplay but acting like the game goes somewhere ever since minecraft was thought of.
either be completely hands free... as i think you are... with the infinite plains of a world that you show.. and that approach of game making where player characters are just balls with custom colored faces i presume.. and if not... better....
cause that means you care about the gameplay before anything else
