At this stage most of the people would stay in their home and rely fully on their children on almost every single thing. If we had this type of people who can live on their own there would be no elder left on old homes

লাইসেন্সের ঝামেলাটি এড়াতেই নিতে পারিনি। আমার একটা রিভলবার নেওয়ার প্রয়োজন ছিলো। যদি কখনো লাইসেন্স সহজে পাই, তখন অবশ্যই নিবো।

While i get license its renewal fee 100 taka yearly paid in DC ( arms section) now it stands 5000 taka,Vat 750 taka, LR fund 2000 taka, total near about 8000 taka. it is too much. I appreciate the science and craftsmanship that goes behind every gun that's made. However, I'm very happy that the laws were made such that it has become very difficult to acquire/own guns. You don't want easy access to death machines and the hands of every nutjob. The U.S. is a perfect example of what could happen.
Switzerland has easy gun ownership but doesn't have the same problem as the U.S. So I think it's possible, though I doubt Bangladesh is at that level currently so you are right.

আমার লাইসেন্সে গুলির অনুমতি হলো প্রতি বৎসরে ৫৫০ টি করে,কিন্তু এখন আইন হলো গুলি কিনতে হলে আলাদা ভাবে জিডি করে আবার জেলা প্রশাসকের অনুমতি নিয়ে গুলি কিনতে হবে।
৫৫০ টি , নাকি ৫০ গুলির অনুমতি ? কোন অস্ত্রের লাইসেন্স আপনার ?

Good to see that gun purchase in Bangladesh is decreasing. It's a matter of great satisfaction that the gun law in Bangladesh is very strict & situation is under control.
We don't want to be USA. Everyday gunshots are taking away valuable lives there only because of easy gun law & open gun business. The person who is firing doesn't know why is he firing & the person who is receiving bullets doesn't know why he is being shot.
May Almighty Allah save us.
Alhamdulillah, despite being much poorer compared to US,our gun law is way more strict than them.We really don't have to see a children carrying a gun in the school.

bro many people in us also use guns for self defense but in our country if criminals come to your home with guns then you cant do anything about that they will kill you and then maybe the police will come. Having your own gun for protection is way better and Bangladesh has too many people living anyways a few dying to gun violence will actually do good for the country
Keeping personal guns in Bangladesh is not prohibited. So, if you want to avail it you can. But you need to get permission from concern authority & you need to pay required taxes periodically. You also need to abide by other terms & conditions. So, those who are capable & in actual need they are availing. The existing policy is ok as per my opinion. My suggestion is to continue with the present policy.

Unless having the provision of hunting permit it is impossible for the retailers to run this business .Guns sold rarely but ammunition keeps the business alive. Beside the retails there was a renowned profession called gun smith. Shooting clubs have no access for non members and there are no reserved area and hunting permit ....it is matter of a great regret that we are loosing a potential business sector.

That .32 bore Colt is very very very rare. In India people will pay much more high price. Only less then .32 bore allowed in handgun in India.
