We also recorded pieces for many great composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach, Astor Piazzolla and Isaac Albeniz (Asturias). I am Spanish and I know a lot about Albéniz's work and the folkloric styles on which his music is inspired. It has been a pleasure to listen to such an authentic version, with such a "Spanish" spirit and a very virtuosic and clean interpretation. Congratulations!!! Not since I heard Andrés Segovia from a 78 RPM vinyl record when I was 11 years old, have I been so delighted! (Whether you were inspired by him at your beginning, or not, Ms Perretta, your romantic heart comes from you in this iconic work just as strongly as the Andalusian master's has to all of us.) . . . As Segovia said, you "made little bird's nests in our hearts," straight out of eighteenth-century Spain, the Moors and ice-cold horchata . . . serenades before midnight in flower-perfumed gardens beneath the windows of beating hearts of countless peasant and Castillian girls in their most romantic moment.

That's how she feels it, who is anyone to say what is correct artistic interpretation? Too much emotion for you? Listen to other players who play less emotionally
‘Correct interpretation’ is surely an oxymoron where music is concerned.
+Brian Cullen There isn't necessarily a "correct interpretation." If I had written this music, or any other, I'd not only expect, but I'd want others to recreate it as they *feel* it. Honestly, one of my first thoughts was that she has such great vibrato, besides just being a brilliant overall performer/musician.
