- Five high school students in Michigan are accused of throwing rocks off an overpass and killing a man. Kenneth White, a 32-year-old father of four, was riding home when a rock hit and killed him. The five suspects are 15 to 17 years old and all charged with second-degree murder. Adriana Diaz reports.

No guilt, no shame, no consideration to anything or anyone. You at least have remorse and guilt will eat you until you learn to forgive yourself for whatever you may have done.If it taught you to be a better person, and it changed your life, use it as fuel to make life better in some way, shape or form. Here in Brazil it means a LOT unfortunately! The charge for killing a person is up to 30 years of prison and with a good behavior in jail the murderer could leave with 1/6 of the charge! That's why Brazil have the bigger crime rate in the world, about 60 thousand killed people per year.

I don’t think teens throwing rocks at cars off an overpass is a new activity, we just only recently had the internet to broadcast it
A friend of mine is 32 and they have 2 children. He had a rock thrown at his truck by foolish kids and thankfully the only harm was a ruined windshield of his outrageously expensive brand new truck. I’m pretty sure the kids weren’t expecting him to chase them on foot for 15 minutes and then report it to the police, but I hope they learned a lesson.

I think the lawyer under stands the law.
Nobody said that in the first place. Citing lack of priors is common practice. I think it's meant to speak to the fact that the defendant is not a "bad egg" and may have made a grave error that is "out of character." This is meant to mitigate the punishment.

We get that where I live. When describing an arrest for a shooting which is way to common here. The news agency's say that there have been an increase in gun arrest, and a big increase in gun violence. Guns don't act alone. I can remember a long time ago when they would arrest criminals for shooting people. Now it's gun arrest. I guess the news reporters don't want to offend any shooters out there by calling them what they are. Murderers and criminals.

This breaks my heart for everybody involved. My husband is 50 and is a construction worker and we have 4 kids. I can only imagine getting that call. I would be angry. Then to see multiple, obviously bored teenage boys, probably scared, their parents ruined, only makes it that much worse.

This has happened often throughout the years. Back in the early '90's a kid standing on an overpass threw a rock and hit my mother's windshield. Broke it. She was unhurt but a few days before a young girl was killed when that happened to her. This is not a game. It's deadly.

Absolutely no excuse. Those kids were all old enough to know at the bare minimum that they would be doing massive property damage, and potentially hurt someone. 5 years minimum for all the other kids, 10+ years for any kid that dropped a rock over 1 pound, 15+ years for kid that killed him.

You seriously don’t think they didn’t watch the rock drop, fall and smash through the windshield. I’m sure if you were there it was a giant commotion and they had to of heard the glass break. They saw what they did. The car didn’t just drive away either, it probably stopped on the other side of overpass and waited there for police to arrive. No way they had no clue what they just did.

My cousins did this when they were about 7-8 years old. I still remember the immense sense of trouble they were in. They were throwing rocks over trees onto a motorway. Luckily nothing happened and they learned from it.

Wow, 5 years ago someone was throwing rocks over an overpass and it completely shattered my moon roof window! I was going 55 in heavy rush he traffic. I can’t believe I maintained control and was able to pull over safely to call PD. These stories remind me how scary this is and I’m so so sorry for the victims!!!!!!
The oldest (Kyle Anger 21yo) is the one who dropped the 20 lb boulder. He got out of jail in 2021 after serving just over 3 years. The family of the victims has a life sentence of never seeing their son/father/broher again. Ever.
