Thanks for the deck tech, deck seems cool! Also idk if it's just a meme with Daniel or something, but it seemed like fairly serious, envelop isn't the same as envelope 😅 N-Vel-Up is how you'd pronounce the Envelop in Envelop in Darkness
Pummel sounds really strong but also really clunky. Each hand already needs many pieces to function and pummel doesn't help draw them and adds another requisite to the hand (pitch value). Still, this is by far the most promising build shown to the public, there is potential for big blowouts and decent fallback plans. Loved the play lines bit, creepers is a wild card and can't wait to see it be explored more and more.
Thank you for this! I was already having a ton of fun with Vynnset, but hadn't been able to quite pull the pieces together against the meta decks. I especially appreciate the math and gameplay explanations in the second half of the video. I do have a question about the sideboard though. Do you remain at 60 cards in each matchup? If not, what tends to get cut?
Now that everyone's favorite Elsa lookalike is Living Legend, I wonder if that changes what the sideboard looks like. If Kano isn't seeing much play then maybe it would be a good idea to gear the sideboard against rangers and assassins. IDK how to do yhat though 😅
Hi. Haven't seen Daniel's take on Fai lately (apart from the budget version deck tech on some other channel). Was wondering what kind of list would Daniel run these days (with searing emberblade - my local meta doesn't run a lot of dromais or lexis). Awesome video on Vynnset which will hopefully become a powerhouse some day!
OK I am glad it isn't just me. I was about to post about this. At first I thought it was at red Deathly Delights, but I watched it again, and Dan said it was 2. So yeah. Not sure, but it isn't just you.
For the combo at the end, is it not better to commit to the creepers line before the first runechant gets barriered so that vynnsets ability guarantees that to trigger and make it so we get 2 runechants off of wail? Sorry if im not understanding the ability fully, i've just recently started playing the game.
Hello, can you please help me what to sideboard against fatigue bravo, and what strategies to play? He's the only one I can't beat. Do I use fyendals or carrion husk? Thank you.
Wonder what lss is cooking. trying to puzzle out why scepter says "for each damage dealt this way". Is there currently any way to make it deal more than 1?
No rattle bones? I don't understand why 0 Vynset lists play it. Someone enlighten me? I feel like gaining an action point off an instant while also banishing a rune gate card from grave is like +++
Nice video! just a short question about your carrion husk card sleeve, can yout give me the name and producer of these im looking for good sleeves to protect my expensiv legendary equipment and the seem not so oversuzed like the ones i found.
where is this game from the intro streamed? I went back to the stream and round one is a dori vs Iyslander MU but in the corner it says it was from round 1.
Vynnset is deffo very fun. I agree with some points, like husk being a trap. I like quillhand, but only in fast match ups like dromai or runeblade or lexi (or iyslander, because of ab). Your decklist seems kinda high on extenders and pummels and kinda low on actual blood debt cards as banish targets. I've been upping these and still sometimes have hands where I don't have anything with blood debt to banish, which feels bad. Been on Grasp for a lot of grindier matchups, to play out the 2 cost runegates without setup with a blue. other cards cards ive been including are shadow of ursur, putrid stirrings blue and vantom banshee red as an additional popper/gas in the dromai matchup. putrid stirrings is a good banish target if you have another runegate card in banish and want to reduce on cards in banish because of blood debt. I think players are catching up to vynnset and will try to uptrade by blocking much if you have too much blood debt in banish, and no quillhand left. Generally my build has more blue/value.
Tunic I’ve found is pretty wild in the deck. Have you guys tested that at all? If Tunic let’s you play one hand without pitching you wouldn’t have been able to otherwise the math is better than Dyadic.
The on hits that you block with carapace is where you get the value, so even If you value tunic at 2 each activation it's not always better. It can also be quite awkward with some hands, but it was definitely a consideration and worth exploring further.
this is the most solid vyn deck tech ive seen so far, definitely been loving pummel+mauv. your deck is super streamlined and i love it! Curious what your thoughts on a few cards are: revel, gateway, rattle, and nebula blade. honestly your deck doesn't seem to need revel at all but ive only been on red pummel/mauv and found revel to be pretty nasty for blue widespread/oblivion gateway has been pretty cool to creep after wail/flail and find a followup rg, and lets us play less of the 'bad' rg cards rattle is similar to gateway, but it essentially gets us access to more than 3 red wails or the good widespreads, situation dependent nebula feels like its kind of necessary into fatigue, that has been the hardest matchup for me so far either way thanks for sharing so in depth, playline 3 was new to me and i really appreciated it edit: im trying to put the list together and think there's only 79 cards mentioned in the video, seems to be 59 in the mainboard, is there maybe a third red delight/yellow envelop/yellow pummel?
This list is SO close to where I started on Vynn. Glad to see I was on the right track! :-D I'm so tempted to run Vyn at BH Atlanta. 🥲 She's so much fun, but I'm a ninja main and Katsu is pretty well positioned right now....
This is the first Vynsset deck I’ve seen that clicked for me. Definitely starting to see how scary she is going to be 😮 thanks for sharing!
Great video! I definitely will try this. Had brewed my own Vynnset-Deck and it was ok. But yours seem more well-rounded.
This deck is bonkers; I love it. Thank you for the spicy list.
Update: 70%+ WR across 100+ games. I'm sold.
Thanks for the deck tech, deck seems cool!
Also idk if it's just a meme with Daniel or something, but it seemed like fairly serious, envelop isn't the same as envelope 😅
N-Vel-Up is how you'd pronounce the Envelop in Envelop in Darkness
Envelope
It's envelope because we're mailin' out pummels like they fuckin going outta style.
@@The_Supervillain goddam right
Vynnset "there is no other 1 card 8"
Lexi with a tunic counter and toak: "hold my beer"
Just gunna pretend Leave No Witnesses doesn't exist lmao
Hey guys, just wanna see this deck is really sick. Been having a lot of fun and success with it. This is a great starting point.
I love Runey Bois.
thank you guys for this amazing deck tech!
I wasn't even considering pummel! I've been playing a 0 cost curve version, kinda like red line. Excited to try it :)

My mans knows 'heuristic' but says envelop wrong.
It kind of makes me wanna go postal!
Came here to say that lol.
Really enjoyed the vid!
When you started talking g about pummel I could hear cody saying "I get all of the fun"
"Flesh and Blood is a zero sum fun game, and I intend to have all of it"
Brutal guide ! tyvm !
Thank you for this! I was already having a ton of fun with Vynnset, but hadn't been able to quite pull the pieces together against the meta decks. I especially appreciate the math and gameplay explanations in the second half of the video.

Would love to see some gameplay with this deck :P
Hes shipping it!

This deck is siiiick
Would love to see some Talishar or paper gameplay!
The deck only seems to have 79 cards. Think someone missed something.

Found it, @trueValandor - It is a third yellow Envelop in Darkness that is in the Decklist, but not on the video.
@@joshualevy9857 decklist wasn't in the description when I asked but they fixed it :D

What do you think of Art of War for this deck, in theory its sound mafe for the deck
Wonder what lss is cooking. trying to puzzle out why scepter says "for each damage dealt this way". Is there currently any way to make it deal more than 1?
Nope, not yet. We might get amplify damage effects in the future though
likely worded this way since there is no "on hit" keyword in the rules for arcane damage
My only criticism is that you guys keep calling envelop in darkness "envelope in darkness" 😅.
In-Vel-Up is how you pronounce that word
Envelope op
Any thoughts against control Dash? We randomly have 2 strong pilots for that deck in our local meta.
No rattle bones? I don't understand why 0 Vynset lists play it. Someone enlighten me? I feel like gaining an action point off an instant while also banishing a rune gate card from grave is like +++
My build runs 3. It’s on my channel!
we tried it early on, but decided this build had the best winrate
Any update for this deck? 😅

Nice is there a blitz version

It was the PTI event, not the Battle Hardened
