    Thank yall for watching everyone. If you are trying to search for the part, search for inner door weather stripping for your vehicle. You can find some on ebay. I went to the pick your part junkyard. $10.

      where can I buy the weather stripping for a 2010 scion xb, I keep researching for it and I keep getting results for the outter weather stripping which I do not need. This is driving me crazy I need to replace it on the windows, please help.

      @@gemmaestradamora7086 I feel your pain. You can look on ebay for the inner door weather stripping or go a junkyard and find the same car or something similar. i used one from a Camry and had to cut down to the right length but it works. Try an auto parts store and see if they can help you by at least getting you a part number. You could even try a dealership. Hope this helps. Good luck. Thank you for your time and have a blessed day🙏😁

      Great if you have a jun yard near by that will let you dismantle 4 door interiors. Never thought a part could be so hard to find. 1000's of exteriors, 3 interiors all OEM for about $50 each.

    0:31 Just a tip, if you have a modern Toyota or Lexus, before using a razor blade you might check the window stamp to make sure you do not have a "UVU" italic mark on there. That is an interior glass coating by AGC Automotive that easily scratches from a razor blade.

    • @FunkyColdMedinaDIY
      @FunkyColdMedinaDIY  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Great question my friend. Yes it may need to be cut. Thats what I did on mine. I went to a junkyard and got the weather stripping part from a camry. It was a little long so I cut it and it fit just fine. Thank you for watching, sorry for the late reply and have a blessed day my friend🙏😎

    Can you spray the white lithium grease directly at the weather strip? My car's outer weather strip is the one catching. The felt is still there from what I can tell, it's just rougher feeling. I'm wondering if the grease can help prevent me from replacing the strip.

    • @FunkyColdMedinaDIY
      @FunkyColdMedinaDIY  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question. Absolutely Camster. Give it a shot to see if it works. I have tried it before but it does leave a light film on the window from the grease. If I had to so all over again, I would try a Dry lubricant. Liquid wrench, WD40 and Blaster all have a dry or quick drying lubricant that wont leave any residue but still lubricate. Thats what I would do. Let me know if you have any more questions. Have a blessed day and thank you for the comment😁😎✌️.

I used a Toyota Camry of similar year. I had to cut it to length but it was no big deal and Installed it with no problem. • @FunkyColdMedinaDIY
      @FunkyColdMedinaDIY  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If its in good condition and clean, then yes you can. If you want to do it right, then I would remove the old tint. Use a hair dryer and some soapy water with a razor blade to remove the old glue. Its a little more work but its worth it. If it doesn’t look right installing over the old tint then just peel off the static cling tint and remove the old tint. Great question. Thank you for watching and have a blessed day🙏😁
