Always hate to see animals get hit by cars. I've broken merchandise in the back of my box truck to avoid hitting a stray dog that darts across the road before. My boss was unhappy. I wasn't.
My friends instead of saying “I wish there were more ppl like you.” Or “God bless ppl like you.” BE MORE LIKE THEM! Care for ALL life around you and stand for the weak and injured. Don’t look away thinking “someone will do something, right?” Be that someone to lift a broken soul. (Yes animals have souls) Love is the Law
Animals do indeed have souls. I feed 5 ferals every day. 2 barely leave my yard and the other 3 wander around to other adjacent yards but always come back to eat. I have a dog but they're like my own pets too. One has even let me touch her. I can't understand how anyone could turn a blind eye to an animal's suffering or hunger.
Gerardine Cizmar, spot on. I just rescued a stray on the streets, and found her the best home. It makes my heart so happy to see the photos they send, and to hear how she’s so loved. Many people just look away, assuming someone else will step up. That doesn’t always happen.
You two are awesome, my mom (the woman in the pic with me) taught me to love and respect animals. She’s been gone now for 3 years... 😕Every pet brother and sister I’ve ever had we’re rescues. Most just happened to find me so we took them in. Right now I have 1 cat and 4 dogs all of which just found my wife and. The latest is a boxer we named Slim. He was skin and bones when he jumped out of the woods in front of my car a year ago. Best boy ever...

If only people would take responsibility for the lives entrusted to them, spaying and neutering their animals, there wouldn't be so many homeless souls. Me too, and I echo your sentiment. It especially sickens me that people overbreed for profit, with no genetic testing, or for the betterment of the breed. It’s about the almighty dollar. So many animals suffer unnecessarily.
Hope for Paws does an amazing job. I'm always happy that they have made it possible for people who can't give monthly, to give what they can when they can.
As painful as it is to lose one, I'm glad she at least experienced loving kindness before she passed. RIP, sweet Catalina 🌈. Sparkles is a little cutie pie.

Y'all lucky y'all have cats, I've been begging my mom for a kitten. But of course, someone in my family always has to be allergic 😒. I've always wanted a ferret as well 😜

there was a black cat across the road that would dart in front of any car that passed his house. This only lasted for about 2 months. Every driver I saw swerved to avoid the cat. Some almost wrecked. There was also a dog down the street that would try to bite car tires as they passed. That only lasted about a week.
Thank you, Eldad and Loreta--for showing that not all the rescues have happy endings, but it is just as important to do what you can to relieve the suffering of innocent animals. Poor kitty :-(

this comment made me cry my kitty he was only 4 years old passed away 3 months ago we weren't completely sure why but he kept getting utis and so we gave him medicine constantly took him to the vet alot in the span of a week they gave him pain medication and that's about all we could do for him a week went by and he wouldn't eat or drink he couldn't move he just layer there limp on the floor we rushed him to the vet and he passed in our arms when we parked I miss him so mutch he didn't deserve if we had gotten there a second sooner mabey we had him almost his entire life we got him from the shelter when he was a few months old he would have turned 5 this year ❤️

when dealing with situations like this you guys should have a thin bit of wood in your trunk so that you can slide it under the animal instead of rolling them in a net like that... keeping them flat is very important and can be the difference of life and death that roll could of killed that kitten. you can still put the net over to stop possible escape but reduce the risk of unnecessary moving the spine or broken bones

Its true, you don't want to move an injured creature. It didn't look to me like they jostled it too much. But when you run over a cat, they generally die. Its a big var, and a very small kitty. Very sad.

I think this is the first video I've seen where one of the rescues didn't survive. Just shows you the quality those people provide. Unfortunately I can't regularly donate, but please, if you can- do.
Unfortunately there have been other rescues that haven't made it in some of their videos, specifically a very sad one about a dog named Dennis (I believe that was his name). It was truly heartbreaking.

I'm so sorry for Catalina 😭 But also happy for sparkles 🐱 You're amazing and inspired me to save a stray dog just yesterday. I decided to give him some food and water, then, I noticed a big lump in his forehead and his left eye was pretty bad too. I took him to the vet and the found a shelter for him. I'm so glad this angel is gonna be OK. 🐕

Sparkles wasn't feral which makes me think she was abandoned. Some people suck, but then some people are really wonderful.

You're amazing and inspired me to save a stray dog just yesterday.
I decided to give him some food and water, then, I noticed a big lump in his forehead and his left eye was pretty bad too. I took him to the vet and the found a shelter for him. I'm so glad this angel is gonna be OK. 🐕

I am amazed that a beautiful Siamese kitten would be a stray...they are such a sweet kitten....she needs a good home.
Catalina was able to go off to cat heaven in a more comfortable and loving environment than she would have had you never rescued her. ♥ You gifted her a beautiful passage. She will come back in the next life and give a lot of love to someone.
