The part where you put the loop back in at 1:50 was using way more force in my case. I did it wrong the first time which made the screw gone in front of the loop instead of through the hole. unfortunately only to find out launching my kite at the beach…
I would recommend checking that the chicken loop is securely locked after everything is in place.

If anyone was like wtf I can’t get that nut out with an Allen wrench- I used a T8 star bit

Thanks for the tip about using a Torx driver. Had a full set of Allen keys and didn’t fit. Found a T10 a better fit, but great tip, thanks !

What is the name of the tool for installing the "barrel washer"? I can't make that transition ...
    Thanks.

We don't have a name for it but it should come with your kite repair kit included with every Naish kite. Your local Naish shop or rep may be able to help you out too.

I had the same issue. Solved it using a wooden pencil. I believe that the trick is that it has has to be a couple of mm wider than the barrel washer. The barrel washer measures 5,5 mm. The pencil is 7,5 mm.
I struggled a couple of hours before finding something with the right diameter for the transition to work
