yknow for a joke game, this game unironically perfectly matches what made fnaf 1 and 2 scary back in the early days instead of relying on cheesy analog horror cliches. i hope dogwatching 3 capitalizes on the feeling of "one threat but the threat is powerful and scary as shit" kind of horror
God i adore this game as much as i did the first, this night has me even more excited for what the finale has to offer. I wonder if you're gonna add different animatronics to 3?
How I think of each of them Avenger Freddy: Thankful, not another enemy to fend off and kinda reminds me of a literal dog… and I wanna pat him on the head- Avenger Bonnie: Ooh.. he is a speedy one indeed and has a TERRIFYING audio cue / theme it gets my guard down. His face- Avenger Chica: Weird.. she walks like she’s from The Ring or something and sounds like a man. The Mangle: haven’t made it to the boss fight but she sounds creepy… and the paper saying NOT to worry about Mangle… HOW DARE YOU- Balloon Boy: Ofc I won’t use BB, he deserves to be slammed into the pits of this establishment forever named RAT. Marionette: Who are you again? Oh right you only appear if I leave my only safe place in the restaurant. Withered Freddy: He is just pain, he’s sorta the reason why I haven’t made it to the Mangle Segment. Withered Bonnie: Despite being “fast” he doesn’t seem to do catch up when you put on the mask compared to Avenger Bonnie. Withered Chica: Same treatment for her as she isn’t much of a threat, easy to get rid of and make her leave but I like that she just stomps all over the place to only slow down when seeing you. Withered Foxy: I am actually pretty inspired by how his mechanic looks going from running until getting blinded by a flashlight covering his uh… eyes- Twilight: So he’s the real reason this is happening, Dogwatching 1 - 2 all because of him, not only that uhh.. doodle guy’s fault I don’t know his name. HORIZON: I haven’t seen her since Night 1’s Daybreak Cutscene, maybe she got a plan? HORIZON reminds me of a guardian angel.
Throwing mine’s here too: Avenger Freddy: He’s so cute I wanna honk his nose (thankfully he’s friendly) I love his design! Avenger Bonnie: Looks uh.. weird. Not much of a threat since you can just hide from its sight but scary audio indeed!! Avenger Chica: Goofy teeth lol, kinda dumb and same as bonnie, you can just hide from her since she is even slower than bonnie. The mangle: I HATE YOU LITTLE DUMB FOX IM IN PAIN BECAUSE OF YOU IN BLACKOUT- cool concept and good execution, but yea it’s kind of a PAIN in the blackout challenge. Balloon boy: Not a problem despite it being annoying in the first game! Just kinda goofy with the big eyes lol. Puppet: Yea not a problem, just stay in the office. It can become a small annoyance in the challenges but still! Withered freddy: GOSH STOP FOLLOWING ME, Mangle and this guy as a combo is just a pain to deal with! I wish you could somehow send it back into the darkness for a bit with the flashlight, since it just follows you in the office. Withered bonnie: Not that bad despite it being really fast! I know that it's been a month since this game came out but is Shadow Freddy and Shadow Bonnie in this game? I'm pretty sure that the guy who talks to you at the end of the nightmare night (or whatever it's called) is Shadow Freddy then again I could be wrong
