Yeah, she's amazing. Check out her channel and look for her singing "Can't Find My Way Home." Her voice is every bit as amazing as her talent. Oh wait.. here it is: th-cam.com/video/1U0zVyiF624/w-d-xo.html
Wow !!!!! PLEASE give that lady a round of applause !!!! what a nice young bright talent !! It just goes to show you what you can do when you put your mind to something and lots of Pratice !! God bless her she is a true TALENT Playing one of the best surf songs in the world !! Keep it up your future can only can get better !!! SF JONES
I worked the 'graveyard' in San Jose, CA in the early 60's, and can still remember getting off work at 7 AM, turning on the radio and hearing this incredible instrumental by the Chantay's. Still do enjoy it today and this is a stunning version....now 60 years old...and, I'm looking at 83. Still do ride a fast motorcycle, though. BHE
I love this song, it was the first song I ever learned to play on the Guitar. I learned the second part, a friend of mine played the first part. That was about 60 years ago!
Incredible! I loved the Ventures when I was a teenager in the '60's, and this would be one of my favorite songs - this one and "Telstar". I used to play an old Fender Precision bass in a band - we played this song - it was a difficult piece, especially getting the timing right. Luna Lee sounds like the WHOLE BAND playing. And although I'd heard some Asian music played on a gayageum before, watching this young lady's videos are the first time I've SEEN anyone play one - and SHE is obviously a mind-blowing virtuoso on the instrument!! MORE PLEASE!!
@@duderino1950 I agree, the Chantays first recorded it and it went ballistic, but the only version of it I'd ever heard until recently was by the Ventures - and it was great, and clear. The Chantays version of it (so far as I've heard) sounds a bit muddy. But hey, what do I know - I've only been playing guitar for 60 years?? A lot of that might have been due to the fact that the Ventures played Mosrite guitars, which back in the '60s blew Fenders into the weeds, but they were hard to get!!
My parents loved loved LOVED the Ventures, and we still have a lot of their old vinyl, so we grew up with this kind of music. This was a blast from my childhood.
I think none of them were actually Ventures originals. Ventures does covers of existing pieces. I don't know about Hawaii 5-0 though. Though they were all played by the Ventures.
I loved it. Reminded me of the late. ...... Dick Dale. I like your song selections. I like the 3 way view of how you made this music too. It must be a lot of work to put it all together. 🤗 Hugs from North Carolina. Eastern U. S. State.
Just discovered Luna tonight and I binging, gotta be up in the morning and I keep telling my self one more, feel like I'm on a first date that's workin and I don't want to take her home.
KOMA, the only radio station we could tune into after sundown, out on the prairies of western Nebraska when I was a Kid. (none of the area radio stations had an FCC license to broadcast after sundown. pits durning the winter when sundown was around 5:30)
Your music is so wonderfully played with this beautiful gayageum instrument, that I think I'm not on Earth but Heaven! Thanks a million for your entchantment 🤗❤
FANtastic ! Really amazing ....I love it. Those 31 people who had a thumbs down ? Are you sick or what? You live on being Debi Downers and I hope I never meet the thumbs down people because I would be tempted to cut your thumbs OFF Yakuza still. Differ songs lend themselves to her instrument more than others . Pipeline is PERFECT for her Gayageum. Luna you are great !
Gayageum surf rock 10/10 ... this lady knows whats good .
MY GAWD!! Is there anything she can’t play?!? She pretty damn amazing!!
Doubt it
I am an old fart and the Ventures were one of my favorites when I was a teen..you did them proud.
Dennis Turnage I'm a young fart and I love the ventures. LOL
This tune is just pure awesome and I like this arrangement too!
this was one of the first songs i learned in guitar lessons back in the mid-90s
Dennis Turnage Yes Sir. I am one too....Peace....
ditto that....:)
I watch Luna and grin like an idiot - never quite able to believe what I'm seeing and hearing. Stunning.
Yeah, she's amazing. Check out her channel and look for her singing "Can't Find My Way Home." Her voice is every bit as amazing as her talent. Oh wait.. here it is:

That makes two of us!
Ditto!
Couldn't have said it better myself!
She does that, joy to your world with her compositions...
surf music on a Gayageum it's as if they were made for each other WONDERFUL
Wow !!!!! PLEASE give that lady a round of applause !!!! what a nice young bright talent !! It just goes to show you what you can do when you put your mind to something and lots of Pratice !! God bless her she is a true TALENT Playing one of the best surf songs in the world !!

Nothing like old school music. Thanks for covering Chantays Pipeline ladies. You string talents are simply amazing!!!

Legit. Life on Earth is better because of this

Chantays, not Ventures

Perfect PCH road music
I really prefer videos like this, where there are no additional backing tracks like drums and what not. The Gayageum doesn't need those.
BRAVO! BRAVO!!!!
STANDING OVATION
ROCK ON, SISTER!!!!!!
The gayageum is perfect for surf music. Brilliant.
Focused yet so graceful. Artistry.
Totally amazing! I am hooked. I am now a Luna Lee fan.
Who's got the temerity to give this a thumbs down? That is an amazing performance!
헐!~~ 그냥 웃음만 나옵니다. 그리고 대단하다는 말 밖에 안나옵니다.
Luna is the best!
Excellent, one of my favorite songs from the sixties. Thank you I for sharing it. 😊
Seeing Surf music originated in music from Western Asia its great to see it also so adaptable to the instruments of Eastern Asia.
Great cover of The Chantays hit from 61 or 62. I know the Ventures covered this song too but The Chantays did it best.
You’re like me I don’t really know how old I am in years I’m 66 but I have to remind myself all the time ;-)😂
Wish could turn up 300% seeing this God sent young Lady playing make's my day.
wow, just wow. could't believe that this instrument can do this. i guess with the right hands it's possible.
FANTASTIC...YOU ARE LIKE A SKY LAB OF GOING TO MOON...MY DEAR....
That is a gorgeous dress. 😍
I have never seen her look at the camera, not once, ever. She is beautiful and unattainable.
She's been on here for years and you're right not once, she plays American music but Asian all the way.
WoW...this really put a smile on my face!
A favorite Ventures song... I had to watch it twice to believe what I was seeing.

You got it, Babe! I Just Loooooooove The Ventures songs like APACHE, TEQUILA, WIPE OUT, HAWAII 5-0. Thank you so so very much for PIPELINE.
Apache was the Shadows
I think none of them were actually Ventures originals. Ventures does covers of existing pieces. I don't know about Hawaii 5-0 though. Though they were all played by the Ventures.
Excellent, thank you for sharing this video.😊
Excellent. I saw the Ventures do this live back in the day. This is a great interpretation : )
I performed these songs (in local rock bands) when they were on the radio. I'm loving this! Hello from Nashville to fans of The Ventures in Japan!
this is SOOOO beautiful I shed tears hearing it the Ventures would be proud
in awe... wow.. Seriously blown away!

Incredible!

OML! This takes the cake, it takes me back to my youth on a radio station KOMA. You are one fantastic talent -
KOMA, the only radio station we could tune into

I love this! Surf guitar & Korea fusion. Perfect.
You do an amazing job!
Oh man! This song was written for this instrument. Unbelievable !!
Now I want to hear her do a cover of Misirlou by Dick Dale.
All I Can Say Is "WOW" !!! Great, I love hearing everything you played, Great Playing...

日本語でごめんなさい。素晴らしい演奏!聞き惚れました!!!私ベンチャーズの熱狂ファンです。
MAGNIFICENT........BEAUTIFUL.
쓰러내리는 트레몰로주법 멋져요^^
ㅎㅎ 양악기엔 틀레몰로. 국악기엔 쓰임의 개념이 좀 다른 농현이죠 ^^
Very nicely done.
Just a point, all these references to the Ventures, The song Was made famous by The Chantays.
