I need to add another comment here and I hope that some other experts might agree with my constructive critisism. I mentioned it before, this team has a mentality prolem or showing off in some kind the wrong attitude. No player gets on the ice to loose a game, it starts with the coaching staff. They lost twice against a bottom team, the Predators game with no score!!! What happened in Winipeg as well (top team). Finaly there is some other facts what nags me big time. In several games the comentators most used sentense was: "They missed, too high, too wide", what means they have problems to hit the wheelhouse. How many times players as Hayton and Guenther tripping over in front of the oponents goal when there is a good chance to score? I thought that you can practice things like that?? In the last game they had may be only 35 % success to develop an attacking play in the oponents "D" zone. This tells me that there is something wrong in some sort of a game plan if there is any. I mentioned it before, if they are attacking 3 vs 2 they always do it in a line instead of a tri angle shape, one of the Predators goals for example. O.k. could cry out some more disapointments my last and most important fact is, that most of last years cracks are playing like passengers. Apart from Sergatchef, Kesselring, Cooley and Kerfood is the rest not even the best. Don't want to go so far to name all the candidates, their stats will talk the trues. Why are they all so much out of performance? An expert predicted the 5 hottest seats in coaching business, Tourigny was one of them!!! There is so much potential but it is sleeping at the moment. It is not too late for consequences.

@texvonkwiatkowski2140 what we're seeing now is Tourigny teaching the team to play defense first and the players are buying into that, but their offense is suffering. Utah is a top 10 team 5v5 defensively (this is a very important stat to excel in, just look at other rebuilding teams struggling defending). I agree their firepower is lacking, especially Crouse/Schmaltz/Cooley/McBain, we need goals and can't just rely on Keller & Guenther all the time. PP is unacceptable right now, so hopefully with this long break and practice time they can work on their offensive instincts
