  • PACE -- Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly -- is a program of all-inclusive care designed for seniors 55 years and older, including Veterans, who need a nursing home level of care and who would like to be served in their community for as long as possible. PACE offers health care services that can be provided at an Adult Day Health Center, their own home, or inpatient facilities instead of in institutionalized care. Each program is designed around a social system of Adult Day Health Care. This involves a full spectrum of medical and long-term care services from primary medical care to contracts with medical specialists.
PACE is available only in states that have chosen to offer this program under Medicaid.
Watch this video to see PACE in action and to hear what Veterans have to say about the program: “The people who work here really care, and if you have a problem, they are always there to help you, and you can count on that.”
