I love the theme of PGD. It reminds me of what Duel monsters used to be. That is, ancient Egyptian style cards and art. My favorite Pharaonic Guardian card of all time must be Don Zaloog, he looks very awesome + his effect
I miss YGO being egyptian themed... Triamids are good yes but they should be in contact with the game's roots more (tired of lewd lolis archetypes in the game, btw)
PGD is one of the best classic set, first true archetype (gk), great egyptian lore cards and some of the best Marik cards. Very nice set, my favorite card from the set Is probably Lava Golem.

PGD is nuts! I remember my best friend growing up bought 2 packs and neither contained a foil or rare. He ended up writing a letter to Upper Deck/Konami and they mailed him back Book of Moon and Moisture Creature rares. 😂
Mystical knight of jackal has always been one of my favorite cards. Amazing artwork, and i cant help but love the kind of pressure it applies. That and as a teen one of my friends often used ghost knight of jackal and it always was a huge pain to deal with. Not as cool as its big brother in my opinion but whatever. Good times.
And i just saw you pulled it. Not as cool for my post but whatever. Ill change it to my second favorite from the set guardian sphinx. I mean look at it. Its amazing, and again as a teen i loved setting it, always would be a scare to deal with if it was dark dust spirit or the sphinx. I wasnt very nice i know whatever it was fun dont judge. Atleast i didnt play saku armor. That card was annoying in casual play lets be serious.
I was playing YGO since kindergarden and was today years old when i found out level 9 monsters need only two tributes. I was also convinced that 11 and 12 star monsters would need 4 tributes, lmao
Favourite card pulled in this video to be honest was King Tiger Wanghu simply because it was deck leader for my deck in Duelist Of The Roses. Very nostalgic card for me, also those centering errors were insane!
Aha love seeing the error packs. I've only had one miscut, but it was massive. It's half of a X Saber or Gladiator monster and the other half is a pyschic support trap card. Got half of both card aha

Ring of Destruction is probably my favorite card overall from this set. The ultra rare monsters are pretty sick from this set too. I remember owning a Fushioh Richie and a Great Dezard a long time ago.

Heliopmer, before the anime episode came out, me and my brother were able to get some cards that looped together, it was the best Strat on the playground, then the anime came out and we were held as kid geniuses

Pharonic guardian is cool purely due to the Egyptian theme it had. Its cool that AOE is doing Egyptian archetypes but it isn't the same
