In this video I'm trying on the TTDEYE colored contacts from the Polar Lights range in the colors brown, grey, and yellow green (with NO ring light to distort their appearance) to hopefully help those of you debating on purchasing them or just looking for a good representation of the contacts in different lighting situations and makeup looks! So far in my experience these are the best colored contacts for dark eyes:D

I agree such a great video!!! Thank you!!! Another great channel for colored contacts reviews is Danica Revamped, she does lots of close ups, indoor light, natural light and lots of angles!! She does basically all the brands from lower priced like Colorcl up to higher prices like Solotica!!

I feel you, I always *like* the idea of a drastic color change (drastic change for my dark brown eyes at least) but always feel more cohesive when it's a more subdued look in the end. HOWEVER, for occasions when I'm feelin' extra, the pop of that icy blue really does it. Lots of compliments when I wear them, they're super striking and I'm sure you look BOMB in any color😎✨

What do u use on ur natural lashes?? How do u grow them so pretty and what mascara
my goodness I’m sorry I haven’t responded!!! I don’t use anything special, I just use Essence’s Lash Princess mascara right now (mine’s got a greenish lettering on the bottle) but I think my all time favorite has gotta be Tarte’s Tarteist Lash Paint Mascara. It gives impact even on my straight lashes, and then I think the best part is that taking it off is a breeze, I lose no lashes in the process and I think that’s made a difference in keeping my lashes thicker more consistently and overall just happier😊
Any tips for dry eyes? I have these and use Bausch rewetting drops, but it doesn’t do much with these contacts 😕
To be completely honest I haven’t mastered it myself. I try to make sure I’ve let them soak for a good few hours in fresh solution in the case, and that when I’m going to wear them I’m not doing anything that needs excessive attention to detail (small tedious work, staring at a computer, etc.) And of course the eye drops. Sorry I don’t have better advice, it is kind of a mystery I haven’t solved yet. HEALTHY EYES COME FIRST so take a contact case filled with solution ready to remove them if you need to and consider other brands if it’s too uncomfortable 🙌🏽
