I had this album with me in Iraq. I listened to this song practically everyday. It summed up my feelings so well, never knowing who can be trusted, other then my brothers who I knew I could trust with my life, and did.
Vague references in popular songs that *could maybe* be interpreted as anti-war = ok cool whatever. Clearly anti-war song calling out the perp by name = major balls. Major props to Filter on this one, I bet this had a hard time getting on the radio.
Look around a bit. You aren't looking hard enough if you can't find music. The unfortunate truth about music nowadays is that the good stuff is buried beneath metres of shit. There are still a multitude of great bands going around though.
like WHATS NEXT i ve been through soo much shit in life like everyday human events ( getting kicked out of school, being cot looking at porn, being cot pissing in the sink, and recently getting in a car accident ) WTF MAN WHATS NEXT!!!!!
That's changing though. Obama's new "Fair news" law requires all conservative stations to supply just as much liberal points of view as conservative, while liberal channels and radio stations dont need to reciprocate.
I dont think Filter is calling out our soldiers...Im not sure where you got that from...Just watch the video of Soldiers of Misfortune. Filters loves our troops and hates our Gov't. Anything wrong with that right now?
what do you mean laugh my ass of this is not a joke guy, this is reality. And it is fucking serious too this shit cannot go on anymore but thats just life isn't it.
I don't see how they're risking their career or are breaking from the norm since it's kinda "popular" to bash bush and have liberal points of view. just saying.
@ecal80 "First its Government not goberment. Secondly thus far the only thing Obama has yet to deliver wht he 'promised' the AMERICAN people. Thus far his change agenda has yet to be seen. (My pers opinion so don't go get all bent and po'ed.)I could go on but this is not the pace for a political debate so I won't."
Still blasting it today !
