kpop fan I don’t know how far you are informed about the former concept of NCT DREAM but they had a graduation system which meant that once you turned 20 you would graduate from Dream and join another NCT unit. At the end of 2018 Mark left the group since he turned 20 and was the first one to do so (a lot of heartbreak and that’s what „Dear Dream“ is all about, they talk about their relationship wirh Mark and what they want to tell him before he leaves) Now what OPs comment was about is the Dream Show (a concert the Dreamies held at the end of 2019). Normally this would have been their first and last concert as 6 members since the 00 line Jeno,Jaemin, Renjun and Haechan would have graduated on the 31st of December 2019 as they turned 20 They cried a lot that day and especially after Haechan mentioned how much he missed Mark, Jisung broke down because of that and told everyone how he wasn’t sure if this would be the only concert he would ever hold in his career since because of the concept there wouldn’t have been a safe future for him as an idol...it was really traumatizing Gladly they announced at the 14th Of April 2020 that NCT DREAM would be a fixed unit and Mark would join them again to complete the group as 7 again...it was a though ride we had to fight for this for 3 years and finally we got what we always wished for So this song is the most emotionally important song ever

Jisung’s part was really emotional, but I’m even more surprised because Haechan really got me the second he sang his part. It’s like he’s talking something very personal. His lyrics is like a reminder to Mark that Mark is his compass and Haechan will follow his guide forever. Not to mention he’s the one who sing “I’ll be your home” first and even though Renjun sang it on the 2nd part, Haechan went over with his adlibs. Like, it’s really, really beautiful. I think it would be harder on Haechan since he’s with Mark in 127 but at the same time he’s in Dream without him. I’ll always cheer for Mark, NCT Dream and the rest of NCT. ❤️

Its 2022 & our 7dreamies got double million seller crown for their 2nd album too 💗. But i'm here crying a river remembering their journey from predebut era. How jaemin, jeno, jisung, haechan, mark were trained together as rookies ( baby shinki ), how chenle the child prodigy singer had a little counter with baby jisung way back only to end up debuting together as soulmates & how renjun who came from china leaving everything aside just with the wish to join "baby shinki" , was able to debut with them (which is a miracle considering he was just a trainee for few months + getting to join the lineup you liked ) just screams FATE!!! They tried to seperate them, left them without the figure they all leaned on & looked up to, broke them & traumatized them , made teenagers break down on stage infront of 1000s people saying things like 'they don't know anything anymore'.. But now 7dreamies are back together again 💗 After mark came back to them, kids repeatedly kept saying how greatfull they are to mark, praising him but mostly saying "Dream is not Dream without Mark!!!!".. 💔💔😭😭 (Listening to this while remembering everything,, i can't stop crying 😭😭) Ist 7DREAM comeback, started with a "friendship ring" suggested by renjun making all 7 wear it everytime. (Friendship + family being the core of dream ). With a full album they became tripple million sellers while breaking lots of records by also being the youngest million sellers so far🤩.. Though SM still doesn't look at dream or their skills/achievements, never promoting Dream as a normal kpop group gets; our 7Dream still managed to become double million sellers for their 2nd full album ithin a week👻 The way they succeeded & climbed up to end up in 3 best boy groups 😭 after becoming whole again, is just THEM... Just like this one 🥺, the song they gifted us this cb titled as " Never Good Bye / Polaris " is like a promise from them that they'll never say goodbye to us 😭😭.. that we can always come back to them whenever we get lost by looking for polaris (+ not them making Jisung the nothern star 😭🥺) DREAMIES are FATE... thats all i know.. Jisung’s part was really emotional, but I’m even more surprised because Haechan really got me the second he sang his part. It’s like he’s talking something very personal. His lyrics is like a reminder to Mark that Mark is his compass and Haechan will follow his guide forever. Not to mention he’s the one who sing “I’ll be your home” first and even though Renjun sang it on the 2nd part, Haechan went over with his adlibs. Like, it’s really, really beautiful. I think it would be harder on Haechan since he’s with Mark in 127 but at the same time he’s in Dream without him. I’ll always cheer for Mark, NCT Dream and the rest of NCT. ❤️

How jaemin, jeno, jisung, haechan, mark were trained together as rookies ( baby shinki ), how chenle the child prodigy singer had a little counter with baby jisung way back only to end up debuting together as soulmates & how renjun who came from china leaving everything aside just with the wish to join "baby shinki" , was able to debut with them (which is a miracle considering he was just a trainee for few months + getting to join the lineup you liked ) just screams FATE!!!

@@shalif1505 it's jeno's part. i has some opinions but i wasn't sure. while most of these lyrics are created by themselves, this is literally jeno saying that whenever we are, his (mark) gaze would always be watching us. this is also jeno ways to represent that feeling of longing where when the dream go on without him, mark would be there to watch their steps and supporting them from behind, even though he wasn't there (inside the group) to be with them anymore.
I thought of it as Jeno saying that when you/the rest of the dreamies graduate/go they'll get to be with mark again i.e mark's gaze I don't know though lol I'm just super emotion rn
