Probably because all the main game's villains after Return To Dreamland are completely/loosely based on magolor's concept art, which all have floating hands. You can search magolor's concept art up, and almost immediately you can tell the resemblance the villains have with his scrapped designs.

Seems fairly straight forward actually. The main game is essentially what you'd call canon while the extra modes offer "what-if" scenarios, and occasionally some incite into the actual canon as well. For Robobot, Metaknightmare Returns tells us that Susie is Haltmann's real daughter who was sent to Another Dimension during an accident with the "Mother Computer" i.e. Star Dream. Somehow, she manages to get back and discovers that in Haltmann's grief over her loss, he's more or less gone insane, and become obsessed with his company. To that end, he reactivates Star Dream, presumably after shutting it down in the aftermath of the previously mentioned incident.
The pause screen description for Star Dream Soul OS shows us that Haltmann was so far gone at that point he'd almost forgotten why he reactivated Star Dream in the first place: "Why did I reactivate such a terrible machine? Oh, I remember-- I wanted to see her just one last time. How foolish! I should have known that no machine could make such a dream come true." Based on that, its not hard to believe he may no longer recognize Susie, especially if she had been gone for a significant length of time.
As for Susie's motivations, I will grant that it is by no means as explicitly stated as say Magolor's, but it seems to me she recognized her father, and saw that he was going off the deep end. In an attempt to exact revenge, she waited for the opportune moment to steal Star Dream and, in her own words "...teach the old man a lesson."
It seems to me that they use the "non-canon" what-if scenarios to give further insight to aspects of the actual canon. Doesn't seem that confusing to me. Just because it doesn't follow main canon means EVERY part of it goes against main canon.
as I see it,, despite these things never happening, the events that happen can actually happen (ex. star dream never clones sectonia in the cannon mode but due to this extra mode we know that it can if it wants to). in metaknightmare returns, the previous games and events are still cannon, but this is a different timeline where robobot is not cannon. the things we see in the extra modes can happen in the cannon mode,(like sectonia reviving herself) they just didn't. when it comes to true arena boss decriptons, those are just lore tidbits for the cannon events and thus are cannon(as I see it).
For Kirby's 25th, they should make one of those big info books like they with Zelda, including a timeline.
If they actually did do that then there's a 99.9% chance that it will only release in Japan
Surely SOMEONE will translate a majority of it, and even then only if it doesn't end up so popular that it ends up being translated into a US product, Like the Zelda one was.

Let me tell you about homestuck.
The story of Planet Robobot is basically the robot apocalypse, they did a good job telling that story. The part everyone's confused about is a backstory, that's explained in pause screen descriptions. You said it yourself, no one was confused about Magolor or Taranza's motives because that was the MAIN focus of tthe game and NEEDED to be emphasized. The darker stuff, like Magolor getting possessed by the crown, or Taranza's and Sectonia's past are mentioned in the EXTRA modes, which the creator's said that it was a what if scenario. It's supposed to make you think. Imagine if a Kirby game only focused on the dark parts of the story, then it wouldn't be Kirby anymore. Basically what I'm trying to say is that the basic overall story of Kirby games is Kirby being given a problem and has to solve it. Dededetour and Meta Knightmare Returns are extra. They let you play as a fan favorite character that's not Kirby in a harder version of the game, and will only give any lore about any given thing if you pause the screen. The creators are basically telling the player it's not that important, and only put it there for the people like you who would explain these things because they intrigue them. That's probably the reason why they had the Askathon, specifically for Planet Robobot, because they knew people would ask about Haltmann's backstory.
I'm bad at explaining things so if anyone understands the point I'm trying to get across please explain this better...

What you are saying is that there are two modes in Kirby.
There is the main campaign for newbies and amateur gamers. In this Kirby has a "there is a baddies doing bad things" plot. It is a simple and short story that doesn't explain itself and let's the gameplay speak for itself.
Then there are the extra/hard modes (and the pause screens) for experienced and mature gamers. In this mode the plot, like the gameplay gets more... difficult? More interesting, I would say. The villain and setting are given much more detail on their origins and motives, giving hard-core long-time Kirby fans the deep story they crave. This bonus content is optional, but makes the game understand the foe better
These stories concern legends of madness and self-destruction. It's really intriguing for people like us, so they include it on the side so if people dislike the (hypothetical) veggies on their plate they can ignore them and eat their burger, but Kirby fans that eat their story-filled broccoli will grow up big and strong.

I came up with a theory on Dark Mind after Team Kirby Clash Deluxe.
You know how people debate whether he's the mirror world version of Nightmare or Zero?
What if he's actually the mirror version of Zero, but he possessed the mirror version of Nightmare? With King D-Mind showing that he can possess other mirror world people, it's entirely possible that Dark Mind's body is actually from Dark Nightmare.

I know this has nothing to do with the video, but I need to spread word somewhere. The boss battle against Star Dream is not a race against time. When Star Dream launches its "Fatal Error" attack, it can be avoided if you time Barrel Rolls perfectly one after another. So, if you're not fast enough to defeat Star Dream, *it's not over.*

No, it just restarts the countdown.
This problem would've been easily fixed with more story cutscenes. Maybe instead of meeting Susie and fighting in World 3 of 6, she appears in World 1, and forces you to fight Clanky Woods. There would be a cutscene before and after each boss fight, that'd be cool!
My hope is that the only reason they saved so much information for Miiverse is because they wouldn't have enough space on the 3DS cartridge for the full story.

they are. these events can happen, they just didn't.(so galacta knight is never fought but he could have been. also, he is actually cannon and not cannon at the same time due to him being sealed outside of any timeline. and thus exists in the cannon kirby universe, but also not as he is outside of the universe. He is a being outside of any universe but he exists. because he is outside of time, he can become cannon at any time and is because in a place with no time there is no when, he is outside of the kirby universe and is cannon and not cannon at the same time as he both exists and doesn't at the same time)

I believe you may be thinking things too much. Often, things like this can all be explained simpky by an obvious thought you glossed over for one reason or another. Thoughts can only exist if you consider them forms of truth. Thus, to overthink things like that not only har,s your line of reasoning, it can even hamper the enjoyment of the game that you're playing.
Besides, if you really need things to be explained in the way you deem "better storytelling", you may be playing Kirby for the wrong reasons. In fact, It was only until Kirby: Canvas Curse that the developers even started doing proper world building for Kirby.
Incidentally, even if the games doesn't portray proprr plot, that doesn't mean they don't give details previous games never had. For example, Planet Robobot revealed the Ice Dragons to be an entire, yet nearly extinct dragonic species, showed that Wispy Woods can do all the attacks his flower counterpart can do, reveals that Dark Matter Swordsman can move its eye onto its chest (in order to perform some attacks of its base form) and finally showed what Sectonia looked like before the transformation into the bee we know her today.
Conversely, Team Kirby Clash reveals tbat the hair of Dark Matter Swordsman is actually parts of its body instead of real hair, showed more some of Taranza's offensive attacks, showed Parallel Suzie entering and exiting Another Dimension (matching up with the backstory of her main universe counterpart), had Parallel Landia's Master Crown glowed through some of its attacks (matching the common theory that Magalor was being possessed through the Master Crown during his second- and soul-form boss fights) and reveals Dark Mind to be the mirror world's counterpart to Dark Matter/Zero in addition to being the counterpart for Nightmare.
These bits of information, you don't have to get from simply reading supplamentary information. Even if these events happen to be non-canon, that doesn't make the world building not so.

All of them were locations where betrayal was involved. Marx betrayed Kirby at the Nova, Magalor betrayed Kirby and friends in Halcandra, and Susie betrayed Haltman in the access ark (and Star Dream sort of betrayed Haltman)
This may be a bit of a reach, especially with the recent fights not falling under this, but also I can’t think of anything else that they could’ve meant.
I love the Kirby franchise as much as the next guy, but it honestly really baffles me as to how such a simple franchise like Kirby managed to get such a confusing & inconsistent timeline & backstories, let alone the franchise even having continuity & backstories, considering Kirby plots are about as simple as Mario plots.

Mario Plot: Bowser kidnaps the princess, Mario must save her
Kirby Planet Robobot: Haltmann loses his daughter in an experiment, he becomes insane and reactivates the Star Dream (an unfinished recreation of the original Star Dream by the Ancients) just to see her again (as the Star Dream can grant wishes), meanwhile she escapes Another Dimension (she was there since she was gone) and comes back to Haltmann, he doesn't recognize her as the Star Dream was absorbing his soul and memories, she decides to do revenge by stealing the Star Dream. Meanwhile, Haltmann startsrobotisizing Pop Star (as the Star Dream had control over him, and wanted to destroy all the living beings). Kirby goes to save Pop Star, while having somehow mastered the Star Dream's mech.

Also, adding to what you said about TKCD: The Dark Mind hammer description in that game states that the "tale of the 4 heroes who saved that realm is told *even now*". Implying that it may have come after Amazing Mirror. One minor gripe I have about that though is that it says "Even now" instead of "Even today", that sounds like a much better way of phrasing it.

Considering all this stuff being hinted at being in the past, and Kracko and Whispy Woods supposedly being ancient, on top of Meta Knight being 100 years old(or something like that), I wouldn't be surprised if we got a Kirby game set in ancient Dreamland or something.

i Met a Knight In Planet Robobot's Meta Knightmare returns and Team Kirby Clash, both Kracko and Whispy Woods are referred to as Ancient. As for Meta Knight's age, I just heard that from a video wondering how big Kirby's stomach is(which did use the anime as a source/reference).
I told this idea to some people in a Discord server run by Meteorz fans, and one guy said "what if it ends with Kirby crashing into Dreamland like in the anime". So if HAL really wanted to, they could go the "Kirby quest" route and base that game off the anime somewhat. (Though that still wouldn't be very good storytelling as we'd probably have to watch an anime to understand it)

I just figured things out for myself in Robobot. I wouldn't listen to a single "theory", and just played the game, putting pieces together and coming up with what I thought was the story.
What did you came up with?
Lore and Story are closely linked, but I would not consider them the same. Kirby Planet Robobot's story is about Kirby kicking the Haltmann Company's butt to stop them from taking over the planet... The LORE is that Susie is Haltmann's daughter who got sucked into a wormhole causing Haltmann to forget about her.
Like sure, it would have fleshed out the story more if it was explained to us... But that's not what the story was focused on.
The alternate mirror in TKCDX could imply a few things. Perhaps there are many dimensions that are connected through mirrors, maybe the mirror leads to just another part of the Mirror World, and there are multiple other mirrors like this, and we don't see any others because we never go to the places they are located on either end, say there might be one on Rock Star or Skyhigh, but we never see it due to Kirby's limited time there.
But my personal theory is that all inter-dimensional portals are simply mirrors, every dimension has a mirror that corresponds with it, because the mirrors are nothing more than portals, that's just what they look like as opposed to, say, a vortex. The only flaw with this is that Another Dimension is accessed via vortex-like portals, but that dimension also completely collapses, so perhaps there's more to it. For instance it's possible Magolor tried to create it(perhaps to make a theme park that could be as big as he wanted?), but it was left unfinished due to his limited power, which could give reason for his want for the Master Crown's limitless power, before he was possessed by it, that is.
You're really right with this. There was very little story in the main campaign and even then I felt Suzie and Hartmann weren't fleshed out. The real good parts of the story were in the extra modes of the game. (And when Ishida said Galacta Knight said he was in 3 PAST GAMES, I'm pretty sure he was including the remake of Super Star since that's still a separate game even if it's the same story.)
The Halberd being entrusted to the crew answer was actually what I thought in the first place. Also the team Kirby clash deluxe was pretty clear to me. Dream Kingdom might just be an alternate name for dream land. The mirror most likely leads to a different part of the mirror world or a different mirror world. It’s black because, well, color doesn’t really matter. Dark mind was possibly resurrected, or maybe he is a dark mind 2, like zero 2.

You know, this new appreciation for narrative in kirby games turned kirby into one of those definitive nintendo franchises so I appreciate it is there , however I do wish that all this plot atleast culminates in something good.You know a game that explains who galacta knight is, what realationship do meta Knight and kirby have if they have one at all etc.

In order to bring more adult interest... Kirby is always seen as a child's game. If there isn't a deeper plot to games and was just the same bosses all the time,i'm sure the franchise wouldn't have reached its 25th Anniversary.

And you can't really compare Mario and Kirby to be honest... Some Mario games have become quite stale, being so many 2D platformers, always saving Princess Peach, ialways fighting Bowser and the same amount of worlds and world themes.
That's why I said Kirby games need a good story to it.
Rosalina's backstory is pretty much the ONLY thing to look into, but them Miyamoto said Galaxy had TOO MUCH story, and decided not to use a good one again

Right in the beginning you ask a question that's already answered. "Why wouldn't Haltmann recognize her?" Simple- interfacing with Star Dream requires a brain implant, and unknown to its users, that causes memory loss. This is canonical, stated in a miiverse supplemental post.

Meta Knight clearly isn't the only person manning the Halberd.
Meta Knightmare Returns was a what-if scenario, as in, it took place during the same time that the story mode would've.
And I imagine that, since Star Dream was built by Haltmann Works Company and not by the Ancients (though it was based off blueprints), the same would go for the Access Arc itself. Plus, since Star Dream is also the Mother Computer of the Access Arc, it's no stretch to consider it the clockwork star's CPU as well.

I can see why this bugs you so much XD I personally rather just use logic and plausible possibilities in order to understand and figure out a story... But not everybody likes to theorize, so that's probably why some people are dependent on Miiverse. But yeah, i agree that some answers would be nice. I'd love to know more about that Mirror and Galacta Knight.

I’m so thankful for your research, especially in the What is Kirby Canon? series; because I, for the longest time, thought Susie was just another robot and I had no clue about the backstory. I didn’t start diving into the lore of the series until more recent years.
i think robobot has the best story BUT I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT IT WAS UNTIL I LOOKED IT UP. I PLAYED METANIGHTMARE RETURNS ALSO
Great new series, I'm sure we'll see a Meteorz Stormz about Squeak Squad in the future, and I doubted that the next 3DS Kirby games will be Canon (maybe only Blowout Blast), so we can hope that a new Kirby on the Switch will feature the entire story in the game itself. And just one thing about Galacta Knight, I think that the only Canon fight we had with him was the first one (from Meta Knight Ultra), since later in Triple Deluxe it's said that Dark Meta Knight is the shadow of the Greatest Warrior (that being Galacta Knight before, and since Meta Knight defeated him, or maybe even killed him, he became the new Greatest Warrior)

this the ENTIRE story in my attempt to connect the cannon and how the what ifs connect in kirby's dreamland it started when king dedede stole a kind of tablet or star not FOOD and yes without it everyone went hungry and kirby comes from a spring breeze to beat him in night mare in dreamland or kirby's adventure we learn of king dedede's friends when that happened meta knight HATED kirby and didn't know much about him plus he gave kirby a sword because it is his code of honor when he takes on nightmare he seems to barely appear possibly summoned by king dedede in dreamland 2 it DOES NOT take in dreamland it takes place in some sort of rainbow world which he met his friends there he POSSIBLY took his friends back to popstar in superstar meta knight's revenge can be explained later so mary is a random creature and seems to know kirby's power he uses it as an advantage and summons Nova but both of them are beaten in dreamland 3 the core is in dreamland with that just like the haltmann they seem to be conquers of planets to ensure there power they possess the strongest beings kirby and his buddies take him down in 64 you fight like you said zero's successor but there are many kinds of dark skipforward to the amazing mirror the mirror world is evil which seperates light and dark dark kirby i suppose take cares of it and the rest is the outcome of that to plant robobot susie is real and haltman is brainwashed and the reason he got crazy was that the machine couldn't work cause susie was already there and next haltman rebuilt the star dream and since there is one nova per galaxy that could mean haltman needed something more powerful which is star dream it is a near perfect computer so it can overpower any lifeform alone so haltman needed star dream to control the nova next team kirby clash duluxe seems to fit the timeline in another dimension due to it state susie as someone from another dimension it makes sense and next since it is mirror world there is more than one mirror and like there are good guys and bad ones too there are good mirrors as well as bad ones next Tarzana seem to be looking for something but thats another story
next in the non cannon but it is said to be a what if OR in another timeline which means when you beat meta knight he learned about galacta knight the strongest warrior in the galaxy so he attempts to beat him and wins but in return to dreamland he seems to be from halcandrian so he must be from another time so in return to dreamland we are fighting him at his home planet in robobot you fight him again but he flies of to space which means he is still out there and kirby finishes the job and or while kirby is fighting one place meta knight i fight somewhere else so to sum up cannon focuses on kirby non cannon is about meta knight weakening the enemies and kirby finishes the job

Possibility 1: He built millions of Halberds.
Possibility 2: He has really good insurance.
Possibility 3: His crew fixes the damages.
Possibility 4: Fuck physics.

For one other regions have different pause screen descriptions, plus it gives more descriptions for characters which irritates me that you didn't include them in your whats kirby cannon vidoe series plus the videos in that series sound unscripted and are a jumbled up mess of your research. Plus if you actually bothered to look at the translated japanese and european pause screen descriptions then that would add more detail for characters like Haltman, Queen Sectonia and Suzie but no. You don't bother to add anything that others have done to give characters more info(especially if the info on said character is kinda lack luster or fruitless)regardless the videos need to be improved on heavily and need it badly especially your metor shower videos. Their just as fruitless and jumbled up as the "whats kirby cannon" series. Either way this video is fine i guess.
As far as I'm aware, the text for the characters were quite similar between languages, care to explain which one in particular was different? I know the DIALOGUE was different between languages (Which I did point out in the WiKC video) but didn't hear about any descriptions that were...
I'd love to know if I am wrong on things, in which case I can cover it in the 2.0 episodes. To say I don't do research though is just not true. Whenever I hear someone mention something that is "in the Japanese version" I always check with TayoEXE to see the validity. Several times I found that things people claimed, were just false (eg. Drawcia & Paintra were CONFIRMED sisters in Japan, rather than suggested)
Now, there are also times where I find the text IS different, for example, Soul of Sectonia's from Japan was a quote from herself, rather than a description. Or just how absolutely BUTCHERED Morpha Knight's was in NA.
To sum up, I'm just one person, so I'm not able to know EVERYTHING, but I would appreciate any info others can give me as well, thanks for understanding!
okay. for Team Kirby Clash Deluxe, the mentions of Dark Mind, Chu-chu, Dreamland Sectonia and Taranza, 2 words: Easter Eggs. the were meant to be taken lightly. like the viruses from mega man battle network appearing the the mega man zero 3. True, we see Dreamland Taranza in the Dream Kingdom without explanation, but who's to say he couldn't have encountered his Dream Kingdom counterpart BEFORE team kirby put a stop to him?
Dark Taranza looking like Sectonia? Just a reference to Sectonia's bee form.
Dream Kingdom Taranza's direct fighting? To be fair, Dream Kingdom Taranza's attack animations are completely Different to Dreamland Sectonia's attack Animations. along with projectiles. Also. Dream Kingdom Taranza uses a web-like net trap, a giant energy ball that bounces, and summons jewels which he throws at you. Queen Sectonia didn't do that. the jewel toss was even reused from Sectonia Clone. Dream Kingdom Taranza also used an energy blast around him. That didn't originate from the Sectonia fights. Even Taranza's teleportation is different from Queen Sectonia's: Queen Sectonia's teleporting leaves an after image. Dream Kingdom Taranza's has him thin out with a web-looking image.
Can't you just enjoy a Kirby game without questioning lore it's just simple fun

What I kind of think with Galacta Knight is that he's able to go between the "what if?" Scenarios of Metaknightmare and the true arena because he travels, or is transported by, The Trans-dimensional roadway ,which is able to transcend space and time. This could technically allow him to go between scenarios like Metaknightmare and the True arena and even past that to the true arena of games like return to dreamland and still canonically be the same Galacta Knight. Basically what I'm trying to get at is the Galacta Knight seen in each of the Kirby games so far, wether they are in the true arena or in Metaknightmare, is the same Galacta Knight. That is why he appears in the true arena sealed up like he was after he was defeated in Metaknightmare because he is able to transcend space and time ,which would allow Galacta Knight to be defeated by Meta Knight in one Senario (time line / dimension ) and then be transported to the "Senario" (timeline / dimension ) of the True Arena and fight Kirby.
All this for a Boss with no character or development other than "he's strong, beat him"

I have never seen meteorz this mad! Mostly when he beat team Kirby clash or when he put microtransactions into the game.
My best theory is that if they had explained the story better, the game would’ve had to been rated E10+.
The ESRB can’t determine ratings for things outside of the game, such as Miiverse or other websites. I think that HAL wanted to tell this grand and beautiful story, but they weren’t allowed to without changing the game’s rating, so they opted to tell half of the game’s plot through outside sources.

For those of you claiming this to be false, since Kirby’s Dreamland 3 and Kirby 64 show blood and still have the E rating, that’s because E10+ wasn’t a thing back then. 😉

So, let me just state some things. Before knowledge of the Meta-Knights repairing the ship, I attributed the Halberd returning effectively as "video game logic." Not exactly uncommon. Although, the fact that Meta Knight can summon the Meta-Knights as one of his moves may make a slight nudge to a greater relevance, but just a slight one. As for the Nova, as story mode has it white, and the additional information of soundtrack for it "waking up" is called "First Cry of a Newborn Star," it's pretty likely not to be the same one from KSS(U). Now, as for whether or not he created it is still up for debate, and it's also not clear what entity "Star Dream" entails: the "screw," the nova, or both. Also, for the record, I was quite aware, and apparently a few others I know at least, that Meta Knightmare Returns and the True Arena were not canon, along with just about any other extra mode and boss endurances. As for Galacta Knight, it may be iffy as to the differing intro and outros, but bosses since KRtDL have had slightly altered intros when you fights them in the Arena; also, as Star Dream does not recognize Kirby as the new admin, it wouldn't summon Galacta Knight for him anyway, leaving Galacta Knight to free himself. While the "food for thought" thing was rather odd, I'm assuming it means that you can probably guess where each Galacta Knight meeting occurs relative to each other; non-canon events can still be related to each other, they're just not on the "main branch."
In regards to Team Kirby Clash Deluxe, the first one wasn't canon, so it wouldn't make sense for this one to be either. Taranza being an antagonist should be one giveaway, but if there were second thoughts about that (possessed or something), then we have Landia, the guardian of the Master Crown on Halcandra; this is not Halcandra, and the crown should be shattered (and Landia split into 4 still). Also, alternate universe basically dictates "non-canon;" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alternative_universe_(fan_fiction) This can elaborate on that a bit. As for retconning Sectonia's true form, I don't choose to believe. It's just a dark version of Taranza, who appears to be the same/similar species as Sectonia (whose appearance changed from her own magic). The mirror is called the black mirror. As this is a non-canonical alternate universe, its existence doesn't exactly need to be explained; it's an alternate universe, simple as that.

I have my own Kirby timeline. First was actually team Kirby clash deluxe, where the game takes place long before Kirbys dream land happens, establishing a rivalry between the old Kirbys great grandson and King dedede III After that, Kirbys adventure takes place in which Dedede decided to get revenge on Kirby for destroying his castle. Once Kirby defeats nightmare, the amazing mirror takes place, considering dark mind is almost exactly like nightmare, and Kirby sought to defeat him. Next comes dream land 2, 3, and the crystal shards where dark matter comes as a minion of nightmare seeking revenge. After that happened, super star takes place as meta knight wants revenge for what Kirby did to him years ago, while Kirby is treasure hunting and fighting Dynblade. After that, squeak squad and mass attack take place. Once that's over, Kirby met bandana dee while shutting Dedede up for the 3rd time now, and joins forces with him. Meta knight also joins him, and Dedede, having enough, hesitantly joins too. They find an alien named Magolor only to be betrayed by him, but almost kill him in the end. After that, canvas curse and rainbow curse take place while meta knight and King Dedede do their own thing. Triple deluxe takes place, but while shadow Kirby is playing around in Kirby fighters, dark meta knight breaks out of the dimensional mirror and fights Dedede after Kirby went on his adventure. Finally, after a year of peace or so, planet robobot takes place and Kirbys friends are all captured, but bandana Dee managed to escape and steal some supplies, which he gave most of to Kirby. Kirby defeats haltmann, but galacta knight reverses time and puts Kirby to sleep, so meta knight goes after him in meta knightmare. Finally, Kirby battle royales story mode takes place and Dedede, having changed a bit asks Susie to make 2 robots, robo bonkers, and a mech for Dedede. Kirby ends up winning with bandana dees help, but Dedede gets mad, REALLY mad. He gets in his mech and fights Kirby head on, but proceeds to lose and have to give up his cake. With star allies coming, idk what's in store for Kirby, but whatever it is, I'll be analyzing it. :)
Maybe Popstar is the planet's name, Dreamland is the country's name and Dream Kingdom is the town or place in the country

Theory time: so for clash deluxe I think that Taranza was upset at the loss of Sectonia. She probably went into her room and looked into or just randomly in some random scenario saw the dark mirror. This drove her insane as well. As we know, Sectonia lieterally forced the message that she looked good into taranza’s mind. Taranza, now insane in the same way tried to make herself look like the true Sectonia. She also attempted to kill Kirby, as being insane does stuff like that. She attempted to wake up D-Mind, who was probably just Shadow Dedede with dark mind, who is possibly possessing him in triple deluxe based on the pause screen description. Before dark mind was just tying to kill invaders but now with Taranza under its control as well it forced shadow dedede to fight harder and further enhanced his powers. This explains the name D-MIND, which is just an abbreviated way of saying dark mind.
They should've planned out a story first, then implement it into the game, not do the complete opposite.
Sure, Kirby's not known for great stories, but since this game was taking that direction, you'd expect them to explain everything clearly, right?
The developers should, as you said, only add extra information of the story on miiverse. Besides, who expects to go to miiverse to know more about the story? It should've been convenient if they just explained the story in-game!

To me, the story in a Kirby game seems like an extra thing that is added for fun, but not something I would look into or get infuriated about. It's not something I really think about while playing, since it's an action platformer. It doesn't that act as something motivating people to further play the game, and I didn't think the story was something that was a major complaint from people. Also, I legitimately don't know what's wrong with the quote in the description.

Given the video’s upload date, I’m unsure if many of the questions proposed are already answered but I might as well give it a shot. The Kirby Clash games likely take place in an alt. continuity (AKA the Dream Kingdom), in which the main games mentioned or referenced in the Kirby Clash games are canon to Kirby Clash games as well.
Also as for how Star Dream came back. I think part of Star Dream survived the initial explosion. When you defeat him for the first time you see his eyes staring through the smoke hinting the ark may not have been completely destroyed and Star Dream had a backup protocol initialized. This why after you defeat him the first time and the credits roll it says "The end?" because Star Dream was never truly defeated. It's unknown why Star Dream was obsessed with making Meta Knight and administrator though it is possible he intended to mechanize him and turn him into a slave and he was testing his abilities to see if he was worth mechanizing. Of course Star Dream gets carried away and summons Galacta which supposedly defeats him yet again but he activates yet another backup program and comes back in an undead state but he learns from his previous fight with Kirby and eats him which leads to a final fight with Star Dream's true form. A big mechanical heart. This is Star Dream's core essence that comprises of everything he is. The two engage in an epic fight and only after Kirby defeats this form is Star Dream finally destroyed. Star Dream seems to borrow Sectonia's persistence being fought and encountered multiple times but only truly dying after a true final encounter against their strongest form.

i still believe the canon i build up using the informations ingame is better than the story hal gave us. seriously,you are god damn right the details are complete crap if they dont mean anything. and even with my "i dont give a damn about the developers and do it myself" i dont even have a small clue about why soul of sectonia looks burned at the begining of the fight.its just way too random because we saw sectonia didnt survive the laser,so the laser cant be canon. but if the laser isnt canon,she isnt burned.....yet she is burned :/
Given how they gave us return to dreamland deluxe and added extra lore to the game perfectly and tied in to team Kirby clash, they should give us triple deluxe and planet robobot remakes to give us some of the miiverse lore so that Kirby theorists

With both Triple Deluxe and Robobot I really felt like I was watching the events of the stories unfold through a smudged and small window frame. This is possibly the result of misleading memories, but then again, I’m not so sure.

General rule of thumb: Aside from the main sub-games in Kirby Super Star (Ultra), all sub-games and games based on sub-games are non-canon (unless stated otherwise). I didn't even bother trying to reason through Team Kirby Clash Deluxe's weirdness, since it was obvious the devs just wanted to cram it with references until it was a collection of nonsense.
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse is pretty simple, but it does have a few confusing contradictions in its story. It's stated that Claycia sculpted objects (like Cottas) from clay while Elline painted them. However, it's also stated that after turning evil, Claycia stole Popstar's colors and used them to "create Seventopia." Couple questions here:
1. Seventopia's literally made out of colors? I'm pretty sure it's made out of clay.
2. Since there was no Seventopia previously and we don't see any other world they'd live on (excluding generic celestial bodies used as background decoration), where were Elline and Claycia before? Floating in space?
3. Planet Popstar is shown to be made of clay--it wasn't cursed or transformed like in games prior. Since it's normally a regular material world and this is just for motif's sake, does that mean the clay world isn't normally a clay world?
4. If Dark Crafter's goal was to "steal the vibrant colors from Dream Land and take over the world," why'd he flee back to Seventopia? Is "the world" Planet Popstar? If so, why not take up residence there immediately after stealing the colors? No one can fight back.
5. If "the world" is Seventopia, what does Dark Crafter need the colors for? He's already possessed Claycia, the creator of the clay world. He's basically the goddess there now.
Clearly, writing a deep plot wasn't the team's mission with KatRC. Perhaps I'm overthinking this...

The sad thing is, Robobot could have had the complicated, continuity-laden plot the devs wanted, if only they could have figured out better ways to show instead of tell... and tell... and tell. E.G: a split second of the Meta Knights holding repair tools could have explained the Halberd's situation. Perhaps they decided pause screens and cutscenes can only hold so much lore without interrupting the gameplay, so they dumped it all in Miiverse, which is understandable, but still makes me disappointed in them as artists. IMO, Planet Robobot's main plot is bad for slacking off with its presentation, and the extra stuff is bad for undermining it with confusing flourish.

The Dark Taranza we see could actually be a fusion of their world's Taranza and Sectonia.
The StarDream IS in fact another NOVA,possibly a sibling to the one from Super Star and Super Star Ultra.
The True Arena and the Meta Knigtmare series ARE in fact canon,it just takes place in different timelines.
Meta Knightmare takes place in a world where Kirby didn't make it to Popstar.The True Arena is kind of a tournament esc timeline,where it's a bi annual thing.
But here's one that might shock you. One I believe might be canon if you think about.
Nightmare,the villain of the second Kirby game and the anime,was not only one of the ancient beings who created the NOVA' s and Galaxia,but also was originally... A GOOD GUY.

My theory is that Nightmare was a good guy before being attacked by the Dark Matter Forces while working on weapons to use against them.
My story is this:Millennia ago,Nightmare reigned over the realm of sleep as a protector and judge. Those he saw as guilty would get nightmares so horrific,the receiver wakes in sweat,while those of innocence get dreams of joy and purity. However one day,that changed.
While looking through dreams,he happened to stumble on something that he quickly warned his brethren about. The Dark Matter and their leader Zero. He was then tasked to create WEAPONS to defeat the Dark Matter Forces. His first creation?
The Crystal of Ripplestar.
However,as he was creating a small weapon that can be worn,the Dark Matter Forces attack him in his workplace. A part of Zero' s power got trapped in the weapon,turning the original bright blue gem in the center to that of an ocean color.After a couple days since the attack,Nightmare began feeling and acting strange. A quick check revealed that when he was attacked,a dark matter spore got inside of him and was slowly corrupting his heart. He knew he had to work quick. Sending the Crystal to Ripplestar,and the other weapon to Halcandra,he began working on others. A wand that can unleash a ball of energy. A hammer that can grow three times it's original size. A flame with the power of dragons. A headdress with the coldness of a thousand harsh winters. And a blade that can slash anything in its path in two.
He sent them all to multiple parts of a star shaped planet before realizing that his time was running out before he lost control. So he got back to work,creating one. Final weapon. One that can not only defeat Dark Matter,but him as well. A scepter with a star jewel on the end. He sent it to the star planet as well,warning the king of the land of the threat and to never remove it from The Fountain of Dreams unless absolutely necessary. The king agreed,telling his child what he was told,who told it to theirs,and so on.
Knowing his time was up,he continued to try and fight back,but ultimately failed to prevent the darkness from taking over.

Tbh, I really wish Nintendo can just explain a Kirby 'time arc' with all the games. What if stories are fine and dandy, but Id rather have loose ends tied-up.

I have a theory about Taranza in Team Kirby Clash Deluxe, and that the "Dark Mirror" made a evil version of Taranza, and that it made him opposite, and that effects would started to kick in in the 2nd fight with him, so even though the first fight is "normal" Taranza, it still is Dark Taranza. This ties in with Sectonia. When you made a Dark Version, it would make an opposite clone, good turning into bad for EX, so that would mean GENDER would become opposite too! Which would mean that Dark Taranza could possibly be Sectonia! Also, you might be thinking, "what about the parallel bosses?", well, those have nothing to do with the Dark Mirror, because it takes that they slipped in from another universe by Landia EX
