YES!!! I’m so happy that Baby Vegeta(intial form) has the Super Saiyan aura, because he did have that in the anime, which meant this is Baby Vegeta’s version of a Super Saiyan. I was so worried that they weren’t going to give him that aura.
True, he does technically "Transform" into the white haired version as his SSj when he first takes over. Super Baby 2 is supposed to be his "SSj3", and Golden Oozaru only apparently happens because Baby actually blocks the SSj4 Transformation from happening.

Since the explanation of how to ascend from Golden Oozaru to Super Saiyan 4 is that you have to be conscious of you are, the explanation that makes the most sense is that because Vegeta is unconscious in his own body, that’s why Baby in Vegeta’s body couldn’t ascend(besides that Vegeta wasn’t strong enough at that time) to Super Saiyan 4, because Vegeta is still the owner of his body. It’s not like a Captain Ginyu or Goku Black where they switched bodies, Baby just knocked Vegeta unconscious in his own body while taking over. Heck, Baby even said that Vegeta was the one who transformed, not Baby and that was the explanation of how Baby was conscious of he was and not out of control as a Golden Great Ape, because he was just living off of Vegeta.

I love that they went sort of hard with the Ultimates from a lot of the mid level forms you wouldn't think deserve Ults.. SSj Teen Gohan's Masenko Ult is one of the best he's had in a game, Super Baby's flavor to the Final Flash actually adds a lot to it, and SSj2 Goku has a sick Super Kamehameha Ult.
Baby is like the greatest DB villain outside of Z Backstory Threat level Design ✅✅✅ It's kind of a shame he ain't Canon and that he was in GT which wasted everyone and everything because of the lack of action and quality animation.
There is no canon in Dragon Ball, DBGT is the official continuation of DBZ. DBGT is a side story because DBGT does not appear in the manga, but side story and not canon are not the same thing. In Japan, the topic of canon is not even mentioned, and Akira Toriyama has never referred to Dragon Ball as canon. So DBGT is officially part of Dragon Ball, in Japan DBGT is also on the timeline wall and DBGT was also shown in the teaser trailer for DB Daima where everything from Dragon Ball was shown again (DB manga, DBC, DBZ...). Western fans put the canon together themselves.

Missed opportunity to give Baby some cool Rush Supers. Super Baby 2 could have had the Punching combo attack he used on SSJ4 Goku when their fight first started. Or something different. Just make one up maybe. Great Ape Baby should have had the repeat Hammer fist he used on SSJ4 Goku or something similar to his Ultimate in Fighterz only as a Blast 2 instead of as an Ultimate. Game could really use moveset customization. That would make it like near perfect.

I expected him to be a bit stronger. Seems the developers don’t know how strong GT characters actually are. Super has the stronger transformations but GT has the strongest base characters. Add Ssj4 into the mix and they could easily rival any characters from DBS

Chuck, Seth, Geekdom101 etc, go watch them they're pretty interesting. it's common knowledge that Base Form Goku GT is an absolute MONSTER and is equivalent to Majin Buu (doesn't specify which version but that's still insane). And he's a child so his potential is cut in half, AND he gets Ssj4 with several power ups and Zenkai boosts throughout the series. Super Goku is much weaker than GT Kid Goku (and widely weaker than adult GT Goku) but the God Forms are way stronger and a higher multiplier so in the end Super Goku probably wins.

Regardless, I don't believe Super Goku is at that point yet especially seeing as how the End of Z is canon to both continuities and GT takes place after, it's perfectly reasonable to assume his Base is stronger in GT... You also have to consider that Goku is a child and had his power drastically reduced; his BASE FORM is on par (minimum) with Buu, and Ssj4 is probably in the region of a 40,000 to 40,000,000 multiplier especially if you include Dragon Fist, Ssj4 power ups and Zenkai boosts. For these reasons there is a strong evidence for GT Kid Goku's Base to be astronomically stronger than Super Goku, or at least if he was an adult. However, Super Goku has stronger transformations.
Yeah he did the same in the anime and the older games too. Goku initially tells Baby he can’t utilize Vegeta’s power because he doesn’t understand that body. So essentially, it’s just Baby misnaming it out of ignorance. Hence why it’s renamed in his other forms.
Lol in GT when Baby takes over vegeta he knows what the moves are called from vegetas memories but he doesn't know what they look like so he's just shouting out random names during attacks
