Was the Gala queen attendant in 1985 and my sister was in 1991. Great to see the community centre and Thornyflat Hospital and all the familiar faces. Fond memories of that time

Loved the gala and used to be on the floats at school. Happy memories
Am from the keyhole originally and am on that float 😂
How did you win the gala queen, I remember I wanted it badly.lol
The queen was chosen from a hat. Each school took it in turn every 3 years. Same with the attendants
