Can a cash on delivery payment method be implemented without any issues, both in shipping and payments, while integrating it with the program's backend?
Odoo currently has no cash on delivery solution and does not plan to implement it. It will only be available in India through the integration of the "Shiprocket" shipping connector in Odoo 17.
What is the best way to set up shipping if you have different Carriers for each product in a sales order? For example, someone orders a cupboard and a pillow and you want to ship the pillow via parcel and the cupboard with heavy freight forwarder.
@@Odoo I would like to see more basic features instead of more and more unfinished apps in future odoo releases. I think it is better to do a handful of things very good instead of doing everything mediocre. And sadly, odoo currently follows the second strategy.

In your case, a possible workaround would be to enable the "Extra Step Option" where you can edit a form in any way you want. I don't get why the price per weight is configured *within* a delivery method. What I want is a different delivery method based on the weight. E.g. less than 50 grams -> postal mail, more than 1kg -> DHL or UPS depending on customer selection, etc.

Hi! We suppose you are talking about a customer paying in cash when the delivery has been made to them. This is currently in development for Odoo 17, however, it is only planned for India (through a "RocketShip" integration), and there are no plans to implement this elsewhere at the moment.
