Why is he on the police forces in his own city I knew a cop who lived near my grans and he had to do his job in st Helens not his own town. so no way Craig in real life would not do duty in his home town or city

During this time, the gang member's mother got involved, and one night when Jay was bring home fish and chips from the chippie, she threatened him to drop the case, so he could get off. Jay stuck to his guns, and everyone got involved. She did everything in her power to get the charges dropped, but it failed, and he got sent down. Maybe that's where we're going with this....
