I bought a 2018 Fit, new, for a second car in the family. My two main issues are the windshield washer is very inadequate when driving, and the rear hatch is always getting stuck. When driving over 60kmh (40mph) the washer fluid will not this the windshield any higher than the bottom 1/4 of the windshield. The dealer repair and replace and the issue will exists. The spray nozzles cannot be adjusted to spray high enough. This makes it very dangerous driving in Canadian winters; it is a serious design flaw. For the rear hatch it seems to collect the spray/dirt; after cleaning and lubricating it works well for a month or so.
I just bought a 2017 Fit LX and yes the white pearl paint is peeling off hood and blower motor makes annoying sound and the stereo hardly gets any stations. But runs and drives great.
No mention of the fuel gauge sub dial being intermittent in cold weather? I had to remove my dash cluster and re-solder the connection. Fortunately there are videos showing how to do that. This defect seems extremely common!

So my 2015 Fit with a 1.5 that has had a piston failure isn't common? That's good to know.

This is so true 🥲 I’m experiencing this problem , every cold day I have to be pushing the dash before driving because that thing is blank 😂
