All that build for a shitty bass drop, I'm always disappointed in "dubstep" because they sometimes have great melodies and builds but then I ALWAYS get let down. Instead of a more awesome melody, I get a dissonance of bass. Gross. Love the first minute though!

The drop has a melody to it, and you clearly don't see it, or hear it in this case. I can't help but tap my fingers or feet to this, no matter which part it is in the song. But I do agree with you, the "calmer" parts were the best in this part.
