0:43: White played Qh5 attacking your pawn on e5. You should defend with Nc6. Your move Qe7 blocks your bishop. At 2:29 you move f5 was the right path. With kings castled on opposite sides, you want to go for the enemy king. Therefore you need to open lines for your pieces to attack, hence advancing your pawns to finally trade them. At 2:58 when white played a3 and b4 you got nervous. White needs many moves to open lines and create threats where you already have the open g-file and your attack is way more advanced. Instead of playing d5 bring your rooks to the g-file. White will have no time to attack since he will have to spend his moves on defending against your threats. Also trading pieces with Bg4 is not what you want. You want to attack, therefore you need your pieces. White is the one who wants to trade to reduce your attacking potential. You also tend to play to fast. When white played f4 at 5:16 he threatens Nxe5 or fxe. With b5 you are basically focing him to do what he wants to do anyway. f4 was risky by white because he trades pawns (opens lines) where his king is. Had you played exf gxf Rg8 White would have had trouble avoiding the mate. See how opening the g-file immediately gives you new options for attack. At 6:53 you noticed the idea with Rg1 but you saw that whites rook defends the g1 square. Then you just gave up on that idea and looked for pawn and king moves. If you see a promising idea and you see the reason why it doesn't work, look for ways to make it work, ask yourself in what circumstanced your idea would work. You can't chase whites rook away but you can bring your other rook to the g-file when you are threatring Rg1+ Rxg1 Rxg1 mate. If white plays h3 to give his king an escape square you could play Rg3 (threatening Rxh3 mate) and after Kh2 Bg1+ forces white to either give the exchange (Rxg1) or get mated after Kh1 Rxh3 Rh2 Rxh2. Concratulation on that viktory. You deserved it. However against stronger opposition you will have to play more accurate.
Keep up the grind, looking forward to some more of your videos soon. It’ll be neat to see your thought process continue to evolve as you go up in rating
Good luck on your journey bro I subscribed to stick along, I recently just reached 1000 in rapid and blitz and 1260 in bullet so I know the grind! Tip from me: Work puzzles! They really helped me visualize things better! ( one other thing that also helped me is knowing atleast 1 opening for each colour pretty in depth and then another one but down to the basics, so 1 opening you're good at and one opening you're decent at in both colors, helps you be versatile against various opponents ) Again, good luck on the journey bro I'll defo be watching
@@kirbydaclan4285 I feel you bro. I usually play 3 rapid games (10min) then call it a day. It becomes unhealthy when you get into tilt. Basically play too many games then end up in a losing streak. Hope you get your passion back. Good luck!
Move 20 is such an interesting position, I keep trying to calculate an attack on the king by putting the rooks on the g file but I can’t quite make it work
when they take out their queen early to h5 like they did in this game instead of 2...Qe7 you should play 2...Nc6 to defend the pawn and when they bring out the bishop to threaten mate you should play 3...g6 and if they retreat their queen back to f3 which once again threatens mate on f7 you should then play Nf6 blocking the queens attack to the f7 square and then on they nest move if they allow it you should play Nd4 which will attack their queen on f6 and also attack the pawn on c2 which is also a threat of a fork to the king and the rook so to defend both the opponent will not have any choice but to bring their queen back to d8 the queen's home square then you can play Bg7 because you have already pushed the pawn to g6 and you will just have a better and easy to play position while they will have trouble developing any of their pieces and you will a lot of games like this against this opening, this is important to know cause even above 1000 rating you sometimes encounter these types of openings and you can be in real trouble if you don't know what to do against them.
It's a short episode, but expect almost daily uploads this week! 💪
5:38 maybe potential skewer at g1 👀? I think it was always an option 🤔 when he began to push his g pawn
Always double your towers whenever you can 👌🏼
I’ve gotten away from some simple principles. Back to basics
5:56 If you move a rook to the g file, it’s devastating! He’d likely have to just sac his rook for the bishop at that point

Yo thank you!! I’m excited to see what kind of player I become too. Never would I have even thought about playing chess as I do now

Yoooo thank you for tapping in and supporting. Even on days when I can’t get games in, I’m trying to stay consistent with puzzles for sure!
Nice new chair and haircut! I also just got a new chair haha, all looks good!
I bet your back loves you for it 😂
LETS GOOOOO!!
4:11 You can double your rooks on the g file to create a LOT of pressure on the king
I saw this on the playback but couldn’t find opportunities a few moves after. Maybe just needed some patience 🤔
Been not feeling chess lately. But glad you still on the grind ❤
What's going on bro? Losing streak?
@@abshirb1 just busy + a massive win streak is really unhealthy for me when I get some losses in
Definitely take a break if need it! I like to run a different hobby and comeback refreshed!
I know the feeling!! It builds anxiety for losing

On playback I did the exact same thing but couldn’t spot it either..maybe this is a 2500+ puzzle 😂
nice game! I'm currently at 700 elo, grinding to make it to 1000 elo with you. Good luck!
Make sure to take care of yourself along the way and keep it fun! 💪🏿

Hey bro. How do you get your webcam to be in front of the chess window?
In streamlabs you can put the webcam capture above the video and it’ll sit on top of it
@@EzugoLive Thanks!! Do you OBS or just streamlabs? Also congrats on the new chair lol
