I don’t think it is. Having moved here 7 years ago, I find it to be a very tight knit town. The people here are (mostly) good people that work hard and play harder. There’s a handful of pubs (the best of which is the micro bar The Church Bar) and a decent non-league football team. Whilst it might not have a Flannels or a Harvey Nic’s, the few shops it has service most day-to-day needs. Of course, you can’t possibly grasp all of that from a 15 minute walking tour vid, but it really is a typical working class town with a solid community. I love it here! Each to their own though I suppose.
@@wofutokerati i get you, maybe it's different living there but when i think of going for a drink with friends, there's nothing worth travelling for in that respect. plus it just looks generally glum.
