I Love your hat... You are such an inspiration to me. Thank you for sharing your talents and making some awesome videos and tutorials. Don't worry about jumping from one thought to another. This 78 yo female does that all the time. Have a wonderful Blessed Day 🙏❤.
Hey Jennifer, you are hilarious, love it! I absolutely love your hat, I’m inspired! Glad Juju wants to crochet, I bet she will be good at it. She did good for just learning. Great job Juju! You all have a wonderfully fun filled day!
I think she did a great job. I never thought to make a skirt cover up. What a great idea. That gives me something to think about. Yes your right the cost to maintain house expenses.
I just love you! You are hilarious! You make my day every time I watch one of your videos. And I love that you are teaching your daughter to crochet now. What a great time of bonding girl time❤. Have a fantastic day. Can’t wait for your next video.
I think the flower name you were trying to think of was a Coneflower. I bet one of the Dottie yarns would look amazing as the neckline of the blue tank. Can't wait to see the finished projects.
I can tell you that I have made 8 of your Miss Libby shawls. I made 1 for a “bigger” friend of mine and she adored it because it fit her properly…not “fits here but not there” which most designs are for larger women. She asked me to make one for each of the women in her family. And so I did….your design made 8 women very happy….
Oh wow Juju done a wonderful job. I mean they are fast learners so it wouldn't take either one of them long to to get it all down packed and able to start making item. And with you being an Amazing teacher that you are it want take them long to learn. Well it is currently 1:49 AM so I think I'm going to head to bed. Love ya Jen and God Bless.🎉
I only made trapezoids when I learned to crochet. I’m now trying to teach my granddaughter I always tell her cinnamon stitches says if it’s wonky it still washes your butt😂
Oh Jen , you always brighten my day, I was so happy when you said about patterns for bigger people, you are 100% right. I hope you get the floor sorted
I had to laugh when you were talking about your brain going off in many different directions cause that is what my brain does too. Love your channel so much. ❤
I rely on my hubby to remind me about meds too 🤣 I love your explanation about how adjusting size is not as simple as increasing all the measurements equally.
I feel you Jen, it was 119 yesterday and we live in an apt that is over 50 years old (so no insulation). We have an old water cooler (which we don't use). We have two cooling fans in the front room and my daughter's room plus three fans LOL I have not been able to crochet for two weeks (going bonkers lol). Today is suppose to be 118 to 119 or higher. It only got down to 87 the last two nights. The worst part is I can't crochet!! On a good note, I have been drinking water twice as much as I did before all this sweating lol And I think I lost 2 pounds lol And my skin is soft and hydrated ROFL Love the yarn you made! Be careful going out in the sun, heat stroke is a real thing these days. So glad you have central air no one should have to go thru this without it. Much love and good vibes to you all. See you next time!
It’s so fun to teach others how to crochet especially when it’s your kids that want to learn. My grandma taught me when I was 6/7 years old. Then I taught each one of my sisters to crochet when they got pregnant with their first baby. I tried to teach my daughter when she got pregnant but she just didn’t have the patience to learn it then. So last December she asked if I would teach her (now she’s 39) so when she came to visit I got her started and bought her everything she needed to learn even a beginner’s book. Well she has learned the chain and single crochet stitch but has not gone beyond that. I use to live just an hour away but 4 yrs ago my husband retired and we bought property. Now I’m 4 hrs away from her so I’m not close enough to just go over there and teach her more. When I went to visit back in May I planned on teaching her more but she hadn’t finished her wash cloth from December. While I was visiting she worked on her washcloth and I taught my granddaughters how to crochet. So next time we all see each other I will teach them all more stitches. I love that I’m able to teach my family how to crochet. Especially since crochet has made a comeback the last year. Anyways I love the hat I thought of cat in the hat as soon as I saw it, it’s so cute. I also love the top you are making. I can’t wait to see it after you get done with it. I hope y’all are staying cool and enjoying your day today. I’ll see you in the next video. Hugs
I would love the potato salad recipe! Yummy! 💜 And as opposed to matching the wood, consider putting down a ceramic or laminate that is much more bathroom friendly or water damage friendly... It will be k... 💜
Your hat is so cute. I like the stripes around not vertical. It reminds me of the mad hatter, I know his is solid. Thank you for the info on the tank. I located you last message. I couldn't find the pattern because I was looking for the video not the name you said. LOL.. I had it save, the pic should long sleeves.. Yep I'm a visual person. 👍💚💜
Girl, you had me cracking up today!😂🤣 it's going to be 101 today in Caldwell, idaho. Later in the week it will be 108! Luckily I have access to a pool on Tuesday & Thursdays at the house where I nanny. And yeah, I'm a fatty in my suit, deal with it! Lol love your channel & everything you do.
I really do enjoy watching you each morning! You make my day!! You are so real, and I love you and that about you. You and your family are always in my prayers! God bless y'all!! P.S. I'm now a member!!
I just want to say that my mom enrolled us both into a crochet class when I was 15 and I went to maybe less than half of the classes and stopped going. I started only falling in love with it a learned when I was about 22-23 years old and it was on and off ...then I picked it up again when I was 29 and crocheted almost everyday and perfected my craft I'm turning 37 this month. So i believe it grows on you. I think you were the same way from listening you talk about your crochet journey. I think once she gets the fundamentals down it's all downhill from there lucky for her there's youtube now... and not shi**y patterns in little booklets or the backs of the yarn skeins 😅
Good Morning 😎. This was a very interesting video, the new top will be nice when you finish adjusting it. I’m so sorry about your bathroom floor. Can’t wait to see what new house you choose. Have fun in the pool😃. Have a great day, see you tomorrow 🥰
Jen❤ i love your spirit and your knowledge...you are such an inspirational crafter! I have gained so much confidence in my crochet journey since following you...i rarely do patterns as called for as i frequently "go rogue" and add my own spin to things....all bc of you!❤ i love how you are personalizing that tank to fit the beautiful petson you are! I was thinking maybe you could weave in a crochet "chain" from eack side at top and tie bow in middle to help cinch up the neckline....it would be really cute! I cant wait to see it all done up and on you. Im currently about to finish a top inspired by han jan that i went rogue on and i would never have thought to do things like this until you! She has a basic tshirt type pattern that i added color and design elements to thereby making it a tshirt with FLAIR! My youtube yarnie bestie has started spinning last year and gifted me some of her beautiful yarn that i used as accent stripe in this top and i love it! Once its done ill post a pic to the fb grouo...i hope you are proud of us cinnamon buns and realize how much you truly inspire us❤❤❤
I love your videos! They brighten my day sooo much. I was sorry to hear about your bathroom mishap. I feel the same way”If it’s not one thing it’s another “ on a spiritual level! Could you use a dehumidifier to help pull the moisture out of that room or area of your house? They used somethin like that when my mama’s basement flooded. They have a bunch of different ones on amazon for all different prices. Just a thought, I wish you the best.❤️
I am glad Juju is taking an interest in crochet now. I learned at about 23 years of age, before that no one would an interest in crochet now. I learned at about 23 years of age, and I have to say it has been an on-and-off hobby until the last 10 years or so but it's something that's been in my back pocket and has kept me sane through the years. 😂
Cosmos? We had a planter full of them one year! Loved them! Oh! And the corn in the bird seed is field corn, not sweet corn! Good for birds or livestock, but don't waste time/space/water growing it otherwise (unless you want decor for Halloween!😊)!
When I create a top I find that making it in two pieces front and back separately, it is easier to get the correct fit for your size . Perfect fit. Just seem sides together and create straps very easy! I like the design of this pattern otherwise. 😊 what do you think?
You are so funny it's incredible, yep this is the issue with patterns, it's not pattern writing it's tailoring, it's a different ball game. I'd rather measure than count stitches or use guage 😂😂love you Cinnamon 😍
Give Juju stitch markers to put on the first and last stitch of every row. I've crocheted 30+ years and have to do that with some things. Have you thought about pulling the floor up in your bathroom and replacing with tile? Of course if it's outside the bathroom too that might not work...
Jen, Have you ever tried the free style crochet. I watched a video on it..looks like it might be fun to do. Juju might like it down the line. .she's so creative.

I totally understand about the heat. I'm over in MD on the 95 corridor, about 30 minutes north of Baltimore so we have the heat too. BUT, the house has been hot as heck, with a portible AC, a window AC and the whole house AC. So it's been 85-90 if not higher in the house. The hubby went downstairs to do laundry and while he was down there he checked the thermastat which said 79. He taps it, thinking it's not set right and it's then he relizes he never reset the AC to summer temps. Because the thermastat thing is in the basement thats the temp it records. So 79 in the basement but that means 80-90 upstairs. He set the AC to 70 and within 4 hours we stopped sweating to death. It's so much nicer now. Bathroom floor suggestion. Don't try and match the flooring to the rest of the house. Tile the floor, it's a bathroom, it's expected AND you can get tile that looks like a wood floor if you wanted to go that way.
😬😬😬I'm so sorry about your floor. We had a refrigerator leak in our kitchen when we went out of town. Water probably sat for 7 days and seeped in because it wasn't wet when we got home. My oak floor was wrecked and cupping. We ran a dehumidifier for months and, TRUST ME it went back down. I'm not sure if the sub floor is particle board, but mine went down. It took awhile, but it did. 😬😬😬😬
I'm so sorry I'm just watching this today. I'm still trying to catch up after coming back from Niagara Falls. I know what you mean about the weeds! For your swelled floor boards...can you take them out and sand them down back to the thickness they should be, and reinstall them? If you sand them on the back, you won't have to refinish the good side.
For the flooring look to see if you can take some of the wood from a closet and use that for the bathroom. So when you “fix” the closet the floor won’t be as noticeable
I know what you mean about patterns need to be able to satisfy different body types. I am on a quest for the perfect bra. Because I have sloped shoulders and the strap on my left shoulder falls off. I Love your hat... You are such an inspiration to me. Thank you for sharing your talents and making some awesome videos and tutorials. Don't worry about jumping from one thought to another. This 78 yo female does that all the time. Have a wonderful Blessed Day 🙏❤.

Loved this fun video 😊🤣 your purple top is stunning! Have a great day.
Just love listening to you with my coffee in the morning! I could listen to you all day!
It’s amazing that smaller people don’t understand that a bust takes up vertical space as well and requires length as well as width.
I really do enjoy watching you each morning! You make my day!! You are so real, and I love you and that about you. You and your family are always in my prayers! God bless y'all!!

Good morning Jen, thanks for all the giggles, i needed it today. I hope you are having a wonderful day and are able to stay cool ❤❤
Love watching your videos and your hat that definately think it looks like the cat in the hat's hat.❤
Love watching you and your channel you make me smile ❤❤

❓❓❓❓ On the tank top-Could you flip it and make the back the front? Then you could run a ribbon through the mesh and gather it to fit? ❓❓❓
Yea Cocoa Puffs
Loved hearing about your ”bing, bing, bing” brain, because I share that condition! I just giggled and giggled, so thank you for being carefree! 😂
Oh, and my husband also bought me a plant yesterday from a local flower stand, and also bought us some peaches, yum!
I love waking up to you because you are so hilarious and you make my day! My dogs resuming as you were speaking 😀
Enjoy your time outside with kids❤
Good Jennifer... I made 3 things such as blanket, and 2 shawls in white/ dark purple and in white/ green screen
Hi, your hat was so cute. Cool on your kids learning to crochet. Hot here in TX as well. 🧶🫂
When I create a top I find that making it in two pieces front and back separately, it is easier to get the correct fit for your size . Perfect fit. Just seem sides together and create straps very easy! I like the design of this pattern otherwise. 😊 what do you think?
That hat is so cool
You are so funny it's incredible, yep this is the issue with patterns, it's not pattern writing it's tailoring, it's a different ball game. I'd rather measure than count stitches or use guage 😂😂love you Cinnamon 😍
85 degrees here today on Long Island , NY
Top is so cute

Yarn you spun so pretty
Jen, Have you ever tried the free style crochet. I watched a video on it..looks like it might be fun to do. Juju might like it down the line. .she's so creative.
Moody yarn was in AL.
As soon as you mentioned Juju not wanting to spend $ to crochet - I was “You Mom’s office?!”
I’ve just started tops the past couple of months. I’ve made 2 of your Country Rd Poncho Tops & have your Spring Fling Top in the finishing stages.
Thank you! For explaining each time how to fit our own bodies! I wear a 2x/3x, my biggest part is my stomach & no boobs for the past 8 years post-bilateral mastectomy so necklines are always a challenge. Plus broad shoulders 🙄
“Fit under a low bridge”. So funny
I totally understand about the heat. I'm over in MD on the 95 corridor, about 30 minutes north of Baltimore so we have the heat too. 😬😬😬I'm so sorry about your floor. We had a refrigerator leak in our kitchen when we went out of town. Water probably sat for 7 days and seeped in because it wasn't wet when we got home. It took awhile, but it did. 😬😬😬😬
Good Morning Beautiful ♥♥
Good morning!
❤❤❤
Only 94 in Idaho today!
I'm so sorry I'm just watching this today. I'm still trying to catch up after coming back from Niagara Falls.
I know what you mean about the weeds! Mine are getting out of hand because I was away and we have had rain and heat🥵
I got some pulled out late Sunday when I got home from a market event. It was so hot on Sunday. We have had a heat warning in effect since this past Friday 🥵
I hope you enjoyed the pool with the kids, I'm sure you did🥰
Wishing you a beautiful blessed day/night 🙏🏻💖
Medlist Pro...its what I use on my tablet
For your swelled floor boards...can you take them out and sand them down back to the thickness they should be, and reinstall them? If you sand them on the back, you won't have to refinish the good side.

I love snoop bloggy blog 😅😅😅😅
And that's why we love you girl you're beautiful inside and out
You are so funny, you make my day, I loved watching your videos. Have a great day. Hugs
Hat so cute
Definately Cat in The Hat
I know what you mean about patterns need to be able to satisfy different body types. I am on a quest for the perfect bra. Because I have sloped shoulders and the strap on my left shoulder falls off. I like the way Jeanne of On the Hook writes her patterns. You explain things really well too. Now if you could make a pattern for a good support bra! lol💕in Ohio
Try racer back bras. My favorite is front close racer back bras from lane bryant.

Hi it's me again 😅😅😅😅 just commenting along with the video like I'm sitting here having a whole ass conversation with you lol ... I had the same issue with this Asian woman's patterns I tried to make several of her patterns and they all turned out wonky and I'm not big but I've been big 256 lbs and I had surgery so I know what you mean when you talk about it, and I know how much it sucks
Let them juge, you are at Homepage 😅😅 Hi jennifer❤❤

Love y Jen, may wanna check with your house insurance. Accidental flood from plumbing may be covered. Your insurance may have high deductible.... just a thought pal.
Hug,

Please let Little Man and Juju know for the 1st time for them crocheting they’re did a good job on their washcloth and never give up trying.please and thank you.
No money. Major dehumidifiers. Your insurance will pay for a company to do it
Don't frett Jen, a good floor guy will be able to repair the wood floor, they can sand it down and match the finish, I see it all the time on HGTV, lol
Can you try the blue top on backwards?
