All the lawyers as we speak at Wildfire lifts are printing up new paperwork for their lifts. Not responsible for any DD Speed Shop shenanigans with our lifts.
Just got home from my deceased friends house, moved his studebaker collection around in his shop. Helping his widow care for the car and trucks is something I promised him I’d do
I have the same rotisserie, you want to balance it so it becomes effortless to spin the car around. no crowbar needed when its at the right spot. its kind of scary at first. When the balance is right you don't even need to use the locks, tock me a while to dare to turn it upside down, but boy is it a game changer for welding and cleaning the floor. I promise you, get the balance right, its worth the effort.
I made a rotisserie out of 2 engine stands that I modified. The thing I liked most about it was that one of them had a crank on it so I could roll the car (71 Camaro) over with one hand. Another great feature is that I got the steel and both engine stands for free.
I sold a '69 Cadillac to a fellow by the name of Cadillac Ron in Dayton, Ohio who restored and collected Cadillacs. He had a rotisserie in a 1 car garage that he used to work on those bodies. I was amazed at how little space he needed to get the job done! Behind his house was a huge Cargill corn milling plant. Can't imagine smelling that day and night working on cars. Love your videos, and the great sense of humor from both of you. Stay safe!
It's really nice to see how far you two have come since I started watching years ago now with the new place the lift the rotisserie you guys won't have to work as hard as before and your projects are going to go a lot faster it was great to meet you both in person at the Nashville Speedway a few years back happy holidays!
Hey guys....as a retired body and paint guy..I thought I would tell you...the vertical screw adjustments on your rotisserie are to get the center of gravity...you should be able to put that car at any angle you want if the center of gravity is correct it will stay there on it's own..👍 Love the channel guys safe rotisserie!!
Kind of cool to see front of the house at night . Frist time seeing it . Sure the other day we seen the part of the back of the house but there is a big price defense up . Silk can I pet your dog
No matter what all the inner web idiots say this is great advertisement for the company because you are actually showing what the equipment can be subjected to
Hey, Dan and Dani: Congratulations on your impressive new shop.Once again, DD Speedshop proving that together badassery and talented hackery are a mighty force!
Great show keep up the amazing work be safe my friends God bless all looking forward to seeing more work of art bye Dan go rolling into a driveway near you
Mike Finnegan just put a new aftermarket frame under his 1957 wagon gasser project, so he's looking for a home for the original frame, maybe Newbern can snag it for you. :>)
I love watching you two kids the comedy about the comments you two have it under control I kinda would like to know a little very little about what Dan does on his full time job he has that and then trying to keep the u tube going with two videos at a time but thankfully you also have Danny helping with it all you have to do
Definitely a LOL moment as you used your brand new ratchet straps, attached to your brand new lift, to position your brand new rotisserie under ANOTHER tr-five. With a tri-five already on the lift. With tri-five in the background. In your new multi car 'shop..... And you said "things aren't going my way today" 😂😂😂 I nearly fell off my chair laughing.
Hardtop frames have two extra body mounts then a sedan frame. You were lifting up the 57 body by the trunk lid with cherry picker, you can see the slack in the strap and the arm was touching truck lid
Definitely a lot of under carriage repair on that one. Should be a lot more comfortable then lying on the ground or floor. Wondering how the patch alignment will go with it on its side. I think you need to buy about 6 garbage cans!!!😂😂
It's like one big erector set... great job, worker Dan and supervisor Dani ! That's a sweet garage/workshop..... It's nice when you have the best tools for the job. Dani & Dan... enjoy every second of that beautiful workshop space you've earned it ✌️😎 Oh, how 'bout a hit on upcoming projects ? Thank you for the videos 😎👍
Christmas comes early at d&ds. A four post lift a rotisserie. When is the cnc plasma table showing up and the collaboration with chip foose? 😂 Congratulations you guys definitely work hard and deserve nice things
Old Wildfire Brad is a handy piece of equipment! I know your lift is rated for 9000, but I would bet you could probably put 13000 on it before failure! They really stress them out, when they test them for failure!
You guys are the best Wildfire ad I have seen. Now you need a light sponsor.. About your invisible fence. I knew these people who lived on a fancy golf course. For some reason, the golfers would shortcut through their yard, once ! They had a bigass dobe and an invisible fence. They had walked him to it all around and he learned it shocked and where the boundaries where. When they had their fence dug jn, they didn't know about the shortcut and part if it crossed through the safe zone. The dobe figured it out. He would lay down a "safe" distance away and when they got inside the fence, he was up and at 'em ! So anyway, you might turn the fence on and walk the dogs to it, one at a time. Wearing a dog out in the yard, ,akes for chill fogs inside.

The sasquatch reply is, tim the toolman Taylor's grunt grunt grunt!
They are probably loving it. See what our lifts will do. And they will probably add a vice option after this
Just got home from my deceased friends house, moved his studebaker collection around in his shop. Helping his widow care for the car and trucks is something I promised him I’d do
Picture for Insurance Purposes ?
I especially luv the part where it sounded like silverware falling out of a drawer - CLASSIC!!
Everytime I watch a DD speed shop video I always think what a treasure Dani is!
And she can sing like an angel.

Never saw anyone assemble one of those puppies. Nice job!
Kind of cool to see front of the house at night . Frist time seeing it . Sure the other day we seen the part of the back of the house but there is a big price defense up . Silk can I pet your dog

Well Dec 10 2024 .Hello guys . Watching Dan putting rotisserie together today. From Gordon
Not sure how you got anything done before Dani joined the garage. She is a big help, also learning lots too.
Hope you put grease on the pivot it helps so much
When you have it centered you should be able to spend it by hand
Nice job looks good 👍
The instructions manuals help a lot.

Danni the voice of reason at D D Speed Shop
Like how you are thinking ahead and putting a flashlight on the trunk to see underneath once it's upside down. Smart.
Here we go again with another awesome video
Dan hits the "Bigs" Big shot kindig shop now. Don`t forget the foil for the paint booth. Ha! Just kidding! Dan rocks!

There's a guy Mortske, who fixes old cars. You can learn a lot from him Dan. And his dumb dog.
Mike Finnegan just put a new aftermarket frame under his 1957 wagon gasser project, so he's looking for a home for the original frame, maybe Newbern can snag it for you. :>)

Hello Dan and Dani
I love watching you two kids the comedy about the comments you two have it under control I kinda would like to know a little very little about what Dan does on his full time job he has that and then trying to keep the u tube going with two videos at a time but thankfully you also have Danny helping with it all you have to do

Definitely a lot of under carriage repair on that one. Should be a lot more comfortable then lying on the ground or floor. Wondering how the patch alignment will go with it on its side. I think you need to buy about 6 garbage cans!!!😂😂
I would have laughed if Something went through the Back Window on the 57 Nice job Dan and Dani
Well that's one way to find money under the car seats just put it in the rtotissorie
We're not doing that today, and Dan looks around for the other guy helping. Lol.
It's like one big erector set... great job, worker Dan and supervisor Dani !
That's a sweet garage/workshop..... It's nice when you have the best tools for the job.
Dani & Dan... enjoy every second of that beautiful workshop space you've earned it ✌️😎
Oh, how 'bout a hit on upcoming projects ?
Thank you for the videos 😎👍
GOOD JOB!
We have also been digging Ellis Kar Kustoms '57 coupe-to-Nomad conversion.
You're going to like that thing when you figure out the big screw thing to adjust the center of balance... 🤣🤣🤣
Good thing you took a picture Danni. Now you can show the insurance company what was happing the moment before the accident!
Now with the body off the chassis, you can sandblast it and paint it up to look like new.
Very nice. That will help a lot👍💯
Dude!! Good job on the video!!✌️
Good job Dan I'm not an instruction book guy either usually the picture is my instruction book 😂
Christmas comes early at d&ds. A four post lift a rotisserie. When is the cnc plasma table showing up and the collaboration with chip foose? 😂 Congratulations you guys definitely work hard and deserve nice things
Yep , definitely gonna need a paint and body shop out back ; ) Cherried out Chariots Constructed By D-N-D Speed Shop !😮
From what you've shown us on the frame you might be able to fix it relatively quickly and cheaply if it's just those 2 small areas
Dan is a Super Genius!🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼
Pool noodles on the ramps. It helps
D&D, I refer you to Fibber McGee & Molly -- The Hall Closet. Thanks for the vid!
Should be very easy to work on the bottom. 👍😎
If you get 3 more lifts you could get 6 tri5s in that grage
is the chain fall on the I beam not strong enough to lift anything? I would be using the crap out of that thing
500 lb limit
My thoughts exactly
Old Wildfire Brad is a handy piece of equipment! I know your lift is rated for 9000, but I would bet you could probably put 13000 on it before failure! They really stress them out, when they test them for failure!
IF ALL ELSE FAILS TRY FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS ! MURPHYS LAW
Nice!!!! If I only had a lift.
The entertainment value of you turning the body is immeasurable. And by the way, it would have been easier if it had frame connectors.
You guys are the best Wildfire ad I have seen.
Now you need a light sponsor..

Oh you are going all out.
I hope all that new equipment doesn't make you lazy Dan! LOL Work smarter not harder!
You guys must be near Lethbridge I dont see any snow yet.
Safety Dan! Please put a few jack stands under there just in case! Thanks
They do it with a skid loader with forklift attachments on it. To lift the body in place for the rotisserie or a beam hoist that Dan in fact has.
