I have 10 A*/As in O'levels, A* A B in A'levels, and 1360 SAT, a very good extracurricular and curricular profile but I couldn't get into SDSB and got into HSS instead. Whereas, my friend with 7As in O'levels, 79% in Inter, 1270 SAT score, no extracurricular got into SDSB easily. So you can't tell exactly what will get you into which school and I guess he wrote a better personal statement than me.
I got 83 percent marks in matric and was also in my schools basketball team now I'm preparing for sat if I get 1400 in sat will I get into lums ? are 83 percent in matric considered good ?

A 70% marks in both matric and inter are compulsary to apply at lums. Also for law school, first you will have to take the SAT1 then take the lums own law school test.

After reviewing your O Level/Matriculation result, SAT score, co-curricular profile and personal statement, LUMS sends you a CONDITIONAL OFFER. It needs to be met with at least 70% for F.Sc and 2 Bc and 1 C in A level (I heard rumours that LUMS has increased this to 3 Bs but I’m not sure about that). Anything less and you lose your spot. They’re extremely strict about it.
My son has 4As 3Bs 1C in his olevels and a sat score of 1400.Is it possible to secure admission at lums school of humanities if his alevel grades are straight As?
there is no criteria for fsc marks to appear in SAT, it has nothing to do with our inter or matric marks. But you need atleast a 70% in matric and also inter to APPLY for lums.
@@zaryqaz3959 Depends which school you want to apply to. Most people applying have good O Level grades like A*s and As, a few Bs. And OL grades are important . If you have low grades, either retake or you should have mindblowing extra curriculars, personal statement, SAT, awards etc... A Levels minimum criteria is BBC , I think they're not too fussed over that. They give offers before AL results come out so thats why.
I have got less than 70% in my fsc and I am going to improve my whole fSc in 2023 annual exams. So, can I apply to lums fo 2023 FALL intake and tell admission handlers that I will provide my fsc result (scoring more than 90% inshallah) after exams and not now. Will they (admission handlers) consider me and wait for my result or will they simply not allow me to apply because i am not meeting eligibility criteria of minimum 70% ? I scored 89 % in matric and 1420 in SAT.
you need atleast 1300+ in SAT to be on a safe side for business school. But HSS can give you admission with 1200+ SAT scores and such grades, keep your fingers crossed. Best of Luck!
Habiba Sheikh idk what’s wrong with Pakistani universities with their low quality education and high standards these grades have secured me an admission in Kings College London and NYU (1300 superscore) however LUMS is still considering it self to be Harvard....

Once you get admission in LUMS you're eligible for the scholarship. You just need to apply for it
