In my opinion, someone who made such a huge part of vat.19 you didn’t quit or leave. You retired! You left the amazing legacy of your creative! You have inspired others (me for example). And for that I say you didn’t quite or leave. You and Danny retired! And the fact that you made the choice to be with your kids is amazing! So many people choose work over the young years of their kids life! I hope that your kids enjoy your creative as much as we did and still do!
It was really heartbreaking to see you and Danny leave Vat19.. but I realized how much time you were missing from your family, and I’m so glad you would quit one of your favourite jobs for your family. This feels.... something I couldn't explain... And pls let me explain. I feel like I've grown up with Vat19 with Jon in it. 7 years ago I was stumbled upon a quirky commercial video of a polymer-sand toy. That is from Vat19, and then I binge-watched "commercials" from that channel. At that time TH-cam is one of my dream to do, and you guys are one of the channels that made me break out from my comfort zone and start doing videos, which I failed and delete the channel (I was young and foolish.... trust me). Then back to watching channels that inspired me, which Vat19 is one of them. This makes me re-ignite my TH-cam passion and start my channel again, later it has been around 3 years as a small channel in Thailand which never seems gonna grow to touch the rim of silver play button, and my failure feelings kicks in again. That was the time you guys quit Vat19 and start Randomonium. Which amaze me as you guys has to work really hard, more than I could imagine. Also re-ignite my TH-cam passion, again. And now, watching this video looking back to your journey makes me look back to my journey and memories watching your videos too. Everyone has their own journey, some of them are inspirational. Just want to tell you that yours are one of 'em. Thank you for inspire me and, I believe there are, a lot of people that look up to you too as their role-model. But try and focus on your craft itself - not the “glamorous” parts like views and subscriber numbers. Make a video. Make another one. Keep going. Watch tutorials and learn as much as you can. Good question, and I definitely thought about it. It might seem easier, but selling and buying a new house can be very expensive. Plus all my friends, family, and church are in my town… so I’d be “commuting” back to see them. It’s tricky.
The time is so short with our children. Thank you for realizing this and making yourself more present in their lives. It really does make a difference.

It was really great and awesome to get an explanation why you left Vat19 so suddenly and I can totally agree with your choice being the hardest but most important. This video was beautiful, just beautiful. An incredible story about two legends, just trying to entertain people and make them happy. Now that’s the real treasure. I would say more about the impact you tw- three gave us but I don’t want this comment to be too long. Needless to say, it’d be pretty cool having that play button, but we’ve already got something better.
