Brought tears to my eyes, we used to wait outside in the dead of winter w/ it snowing to get tickets back in the 80's to see this Awesome band in Dayton, Ohio, they would sign autographs after the show, My teenage years into my 50's are the best with their music!! Rest easy Jeff find my Uncle Bill who suffered like you did, Bless you all and the Fans.
For the 6 dislikes, it is my prayer that God fills your hearts with as much joy as he has mine through these men (Teddy, Randy, Mark, Jeff) AKA ALABAMA , THE EPITOME of CLASS, GOD FEARING, FLAG WAVING, PROUD FELLOW ALABAMIANS, WHO GAVE ALL , ALWAYS LOVING AND CARING for the less fortunate, while Never Forgetting Where their Home Was! What joy you 6 people are missing! May God Bless you and May God continue to Bless them from Ft. PAYNE!! MOBILE ALA LOVES YOU! I WILL BE UP SOON , HOPE TO SEE YOU
This was so fantastic. Thank you, Boys. But it takes on a whole new level of importance now. Rest easy, Jeff, and THANK YOU for the decades of inspiration you've brought to all of us. Alabama forever. Much love.
It's so good to see Jeff cook on stage with randy owen, Jeff's wife and daughter, and the boys in the band, they did a great job on stage, awesome! Hee Hee haw
Even the ,I was notn in Tennessee, but I have lived in Alabama just about my whole life. I am 69 years old now. Will be 70 if God permits me to live until 8-31 of this next year
Jeff cook should have been respected more, he was the best and could have blown every musician off the stage at one time before his disease, you go Jeff respect.
I mean how many guys get to actually perform for their heroes, much less play with them....and to see Jeff still have the passion to play despite his fight with the disease, just an incredible sight. And to do it in their hometown....there are no words....
God, this is so touching. So happy for you guys! I knew Randy, Jeff, and Teddy from The Bowery many years ago. It hurts to see what this disease has done to Jeff, but I’m so happy to see him here. Sending prayers and love ❤
Oh Jeff...... You did not earn this fate sir. With all the joy and God's love you shared through your music you should be enjoying your elder years. God can be cruel sometimes... God Bless you Sir!!
There will never be another Alabama but these guys did great! Jumped around on that stage just as Alabama in all of their performances and sounded so much like the original sound.
What a moment! This is such an amazing video and it captures the energy and joy and happiness of this unforgettable night.. so glad to be able to see this live! ..an incredible show and Alabama tribute show to the boys in the band.. in Fort Payne Alabama !! These guys are all awesome!
Met Jeff some years ago in Valdosta, GA where he was hanging out with band friends of mine---285 out of Atlanta, GA. Nice guy who has great friends. Praying for you and your family, Jeff.
This is amazing! Alabama is my favorite band ever, out of every genre of music! I've got so many fond memories of them when I was growing up. It's such a shame about Jeff. It's just not fair!😢 He's the best guitar/fiddle player that's ever lived! No one can ever replace that kind of talent! Thank you for sharing this. There's no possible way I could've held any kind of camera still that long bc I would be bouncing off the walls! Kudos to whoever recorded it! Great job!
But you can still see him playing the music even if he was physically limited. Being able to play stuff he played right next to him... Bucket list stuff. RIP Jeff.
So sorry to see Jeff 😢. This disease takes a toll. So glad that he can still strum some chords. Saw him in his prime back in the 80's(many times) when they would play Pittsburgh. I remember him for the awesome way he played that fiddle. Many prayers for him.
Thank God they gave Jeff that guitar and let him play and sing, otherwise the "Boys In The Band" would be getting snowman poop in their stockings this year. Now I'm noticing that the guitar they gave Jeff isn't even plugged in! SHAME ON YOU!!! 🤬

Jeff cook should have been respected more, he was the best and could have blown every musician off the stage at one time before his disease, you go Jeff respect.
Randy raised Jeff's hand; Jeff made it known he didn't want the spotlight. Jeff's a God, no doubt. He's a very humble and private man as well.
Jeff Wrote all this classics..that s all
