Didn't expect a Joe Budden reaction. For a supposed "one hit wonder", he has a ton of hidden gems in his catalog. Hopefully this leads to more.
I was shocked there's no Joe Budden reactions. I just discovered this today out of curiosity.

Budden was a beast back then. His Mood Muzik mixtape series got a lot of replay value from me. Everytime I showed someone his tapes they were highly impressed. Most people only knew him from Pump it up but they had to be put on.

He made the right decision. Adults who rap rn just look like they are trying to fit in. Dudes need to retire at like 40. After that they just look like they can't cope with not being as popular as rainbow head teenage "rappers". Every one has to grow up at some point. But trust Joe still writes and records. He just doesn't share it because it's for him instead of a dollar and a dream.

Respectfully bro, I can tell you missed/don't get about 80% of the references in the song. Probably cuz you were so young when a lot of it happened. Once you understand all the references, song hits 10x harder
Please do more Joe Budden. Dude highly underrated. the "Ordinary love shit" songs are a good series of songs from him. If you are going to react to one of them i'd say react to "Ordinary Love Shit pt. 3". "Hello Expectations" is another good one, "No idea", "Downfall" is one of my favorites from Joe. Joe is in my personal top 5 maybe 3. Ik he's not the goat and all that, but for me his music is so therapeutic and he's sharp as hell on the mic. Mood Muzik and even his last album rage and the machine doesn't have any skippables for me and he has one of the best voices in hip hop, period.
