Dude awesome video… you should make an online course.
I have one already! codewithbeto.dev/learn
This is not an animated splash screen, is an animated screen once the app is bundled and loaded completely. A splash screen is the screen seeing when the app is loading, for example when you have an app closed and open it
Yes, on phones there can't be animated splash screens, it's impossible. So this is just purely for the app's aesthetics.
I have a splash screen in expo but a white screen appears before it for 1-2 secs how to resolve that do you have any idea? @@MrGhosTRideRrR
Great work 👍
It look like a animated component, not splash screen in android/ios when app start. How to show it when app start instead of app's logo? Hope you tutorial! Thank you so much!
in that case you could create a component View with a logo/img and show it while your process finish

Yep, he is reloading app to hide something. he should kill the app and relaunch.
This is not splash screen in real. A kind of post-splash. Or initialization screen. Or loader screen. Useless for big applications with long system initialization with prerendering all screens for fast user interaction.
ouch.. wasted 34 minutes to try to learn the usage of lottie splashscreen :(
Thanks for saving my time
thats awesome, can u make a video tutorial for storing with react redux or storing things like friends to not need to fetch an url every time when user open a specific screen in react navigation
Sure!
RN has goot local storage options
can we do this using expo?
Not a Splash screen, Its just a post splash screen component, dude is adding lottie files in the react native.
"splash screen" and then he is making a component. typical youtube coder
I have done the same thing what you explained in the video but I'm getting error
This is great and was working for me till I updated to the latest version of Lottie what about something for new version too
I also get this error always when I create a new react native application...
this is not a splash screen but a splash Screen Component
hello where is the json file please
This is not called a splash screen. This is just a regular screen. Splash screens are quite different than a screen
