Thanks for this Steve, sometimes I only have an hour in the club and don't know what to practice. This will be very helpful as it contains lots of different shots and hopefully will help my positional play.
Always a pleasure to watch an artist, applying his trade on the snooker table, got the cue ball on a piece of string,as thou your talking too it,too be in the exact place, after last shot,so unbelievable you are,I salute class.
How about a video on strategy and shot selection? What to take into consideration when deciding whether to attack or play safety? How sure do you have to be on the pot to take it on? What kind of risks to take and when?
My name is nabeel from canada. Thank you Steve for uploading all these training tips. Very helpful. I have been playing snooker for over 2 decades. I tried hard to keep my cue straight but when I deliver the shot the cue go slightly right or left sometimes. Please advise to keep it straight arm and how to adjust the sight correctly. Thank you for your help.
It still blows my mind how you feather to the left, but hit the middle! The red bynthe cushion with top spin showed it perfectly how the cue was offline until you pulled back andmit started to correct, and then from the pause and follow through you can see it go all the way through online as you move it across. Very clever to be able to correct like that.
As Mr Barry Stark said 'to teach snooker you should be in a reasonable standard level of playing ability'. In this video you can obviously see what an amazing snooker player barton is.
I usually play with load of right hand side and top spin when im dead straight on blue to impress my mates its sort of exhibition shot with plenty of power and right or left side hand depending on which colour your playing next.
I did one of these with 4 reds last month...the first time I'd gotten all the way through and cleared the colours...perfect on the black...twitched...missed it. Gutted.

Steve makes it look so easy. Talent !
This is the video I've been wanting to see. An analysis of every shot is extremely helpful. Thanks for a great video!

Great video as always. Still not seen a bag of Yorkshire Tea on the back shelf though, so 9/10.
Haha!
That's a great video Barton snooker. Can you do a video of how to come out of snookers like when a player hides behind a colour and has to hit a red
