Thoughts on the "Proof of useful work" section: - centralized companies dictate margins, so decentralization brings more competition and lowers the prices for clients - companies can censor what they want, for example models won't render specific images - it may be easier on your mind to trust a company to do your job, but how would you verify that they have done it properly in the first place, with decentralization you can bring more redundancy and compare results

That depends on what coin you want to mine, your power cost and if you prioritize value for money or power efficiency more. But a good card to start with is the rtx 3070.

40 series are well better at efficiency and in a +0.25$ country IT MATTERS 😅 also better on AI thanks to larger ram capacity
