Ha.! I missed the end only to find out the end end is missing. Looking forward to watching the checkered flag as soon as you put it up. Great coverage and commentary once again. Uk race fan. 🚗🚗
What a cool surprize to have this live on TH-cam, not just IMSA TV Live. Hopefully this will help increase the general audience for the series, like Win The Weekend did. *Edit*: and like some others have said in the comments, TH-cam has a maximum save limit of 12 hours for livestreams, so unfortunately the end is cut off. I think the way to prevent this will be to have races livestreamed in increments, with maybe a 10 minute overlap where both streams are up, to allow for continued viewing. * Daytona: 4x 6 hours or 3x 8 hours. * Sebring: 2x 6 hours. * Watkins Glen: 1x 6 hours. * Indianapolis: 1x 6 hours. * Road Atlanta: 2x 5 hours. Non-endurance rounds won't have this issue, and depending on any conveniently-timed Full Course Yellows, you may want to have the livestream swap-overs during that. Hope this helps, and thanks again for a fantastic race!
For anyone wondering - there is 12 hours max single (saveable) stream limit for youtube. For any future 12h events it has to be taken in account and switched to 2nd stream somewhere in middle (using some yellows period, ofcourse, so people can transfer without missing too much). Still great stream, enjoyed it a lot! =))
Edit: it’s missing the last half hour just to let people know I know the TH-cam stream was just a test but I am really appreciative of it. It’s much easier to get on my smart tv, being able to quickly rewind, and it being there in the morning after is great as never stay up long enough! Thank you IMSA! love the series. Good luck with the rest of the season. 🎉🎉🎉
What a great age to witness IMSA races. The top three or more drivers within seconds or less to each other, producing overtakes over and over again, even after 11 hours after racing, is an undeniable proof and compliment to the BOP of this awesome series!
A big thank you from Germany for the stream IMSA!❤ Much easier to stream on the TV than by the IMSA Homepage. Please continue with this great service 😊

Just want to add what a fantastic surprise this was. Really hope this is something that continues for future rounds. This will be for sure my first of many IMSA races I watch Live
Well that sure was a nice stream of the Sebring 11.5 hours. Lovely to see this, not a lot of use if it cuts off before the end and I've no chance of finding the rest without getting spoiled.
Great thanks from germany for streaming it on youtube and keeping it available, so I can watch the last 3hours while having sunday morning breakfast. I'm to to old for staying up until 2 o'clock in the night😅
Thank you so much for this fantastic coverage... I know this was only a "test" but I'm sure you'll agree it was a resounding success. I eagerly await more of the same for the rest of the year. Thanks once again!
Thanks for the experiment. Maybe there could be a further experiment of an online season pass or something? People hate subscriptions but whatever, I'd pay to get something like the current IMSA site but expanded- I think we're on the cusp of a monumental change in how professional sports are broadcast, and I'm hoping racing series are able to set themselves up sustainably.
Thank you very much for being live on TH-cam this time,I can now finish watching the last two hours,I feel asleep because for me almost all races are throughout the night living in Easter Europe.
Great that you show IMSA outside NA now on TH-cam right away. Makes watching it live or delayed so much better since it has the option to pause. I still would like GTD and GTD Pro to be a combined and colorcoded list in the standings tower on the left, would better reflect the order on the track but still preserve the classes.
I was eagerly looking forward to seeing the race, but was gobsmacked to see it was going to be live on TH-cam, so l was able to go out and rewind and watch the chaotic conclusion. Given the huge Derani crash (karma for Petite Lemans?),it was interesting to hear Matt Bell talk about the GTP drivers taking their "psycho" pills. One of my favourite Enduro races, Sebring always delivers. Intense battles in all classes, so much action throughout. Superb recovery & win by Winwood racing, Zillich is incredible, nice for WTR to win, big shame for JDC Miller as Hanson was quick, as well as both MacLarens being hobbled on lap 1. IMSA has very generously given the world a chance to see some of the best racing for free. RS Radio provide great commentary (less irritating than WEC), with frequent pit lane updates. On screen info is better than WEC, as time gaps given. If that's not enough, you can get the telemetry online too. A fine example set to the rest of Motor Racing.
And the context to my last comment is that l have been a (UK) fan of Endurance racing since 1984, saw Jaguar's legendary Lemans win in '88, Group C at Brands Hatch and the stunning XJR14 success. Both series of IMSA and WEC are the most exciting racing for many years, but why is there no international Endurance racing in the UK? Shame on you Silverstone!
I was watching this live, but I got too tired and had to go to bed, so I missed the last bit of the race. Came on this morning to watch the finish, but the last half hour of the race is missing. Is that deliberate?
@darkstealthgaming2746 The maximum stream length on TH-cam is 12 hours. As the race didn't exactly start at 0:00 and the finish is always a little bit after the 12 hours, it can't fit into 1 stream so it had to be ended. This is the first time IMSA have done something like this so next time they can just split the stream in 2 parts of 6 hours.🤷♂️
thank you for the stream, like this it is much easier to access and it is more visible to audiences. only problem is that since youtube limits videos of streams to 12h, the last 30mins of the race are missing, I hope you're gonna upload those as well.
Great to have the coverage here, much appreciated. But! What is it with the constant fascination with the fastest lap? We have the almost persistent list of manufacturers up the left side and constant fastest lap rubbish at across the bottom, trying to follow a 12hr race with so little time interval information is difficult and frustrating. No idea how far away the cars at the back are, is it seconds, laps, or days, not a clue most of the time.
Waste of time watching the first Eleven and a half hours if you can't see the last half hour and the finish 😂 but I did enjoy the Eleven and a half hours I had watched thanks 😊
8:00:20, doing the wave around while this recovery goes on was really stupid... Racing series try so many things to make racing saver, sometimes way over the top (e.g. you will get a DT penalty here at IMSA for hitting e.g. a wheel in pitlane, because it could have been a person instead). But then you start the wave around while recovery is going on and 10 people stand next to a crashed car directly besides the track. Something needs to brake at one car doing a wave around, afterwards the discussion would start how someting bad like this can happen, while it is so obvious...
Criticism for the broadcast is graphic. it would be helpful if you put a little simple for which manufacturer that the driver is driving for. Also, rotate through the various classes. It seems 90% of the time we only see the top racer in each class for what feels like an eternity.
Sorry but that Cadilac seemed to be upside down an awfully long time before any marshals showed up, if that car was on fire then the driver would of been in a lot of trouble, if this circuit was in the UK there would of been marshals there within seconds due to how we marshal races.
@olufemiajayi5588 Exactly why you should be happy the race was livestreamed on TH-cam and you shouldn't be complaining about a few adds as IMSA has to make some money too as that's just is how the world works.
