On the one hand, he didn't win easily. In one round it was even 10-8 for Prochazka, but he was winning with 2 of the 3 judges before the fifth round. That's true, but there are 2 big buts. He was only winning because of his wrestling, which we really won't see from Pereira because that could be the end for him. It wasn't until the fifth round that he had the upper hand in terms of standup, but that's just it, Prochazka knew that he had to mainly not get him down and keep him down or he would lose. Which makes a lot of difference to any stance. Glover couldn't choke Prochazka, and in all likelihood Poatan, like Glover, would have eventually gotten underneath him, and if he would have survived Jiri's GOP like Glover did, I highly doubt it. The other much more significant though is that Prochazka fought Glover the entire fight with a broken hand. Show me anyone who could do what he did with a broken arm... That's not to say that Poatan can't win and easily KO if he hits it. He's really good in the standup department. But Pochazka has many more ways to win.

1) pereira is clearly a better, more orthodox kickboxer, really respecting the rules of the game.. thus i think he has an advantage over jiri here.. but.. 2) alex is gaining weight in order to fit into the lhw division. Jirka is losing weight in order to fit into the lhw division.. so jirka will be stronger and heavier, which will make pereira lose stamina quicker.. it happens when u fight heavier opponents. Jirka is also better grappler and wrestler, no matter what Techeira teaches Pereira, Jirka is his own master and all he cares about is exploring the mma game.. he is a real doctor of mma, finding new techniques etc. Inventing new stuff and so on. 3) Jirka being heavier also makes him handle more shots.. he is able to take many headshots and chin shots without being staggered, because he is at least 10 kg heavier than pereira irl, out of the competition. So eventho pereira is better striker, jirka wrestles better, is stronger, has more stamina, is heavier and can handle more shots landed on him. So pereira can win with a good luck, but bigger percentage goes on Jirka winning. I guess it's 60% for Jiri, 40% for Alex.

If Jiri doesn't get caught with some bullshit in the first couple of rounds, he should have a serious advantage later on. It takes a lot of time for the body to adjust and keep up with the amount of energy it requires to move around and do stuff when there's suddenly an extra dozen pounds of muscle involved in every movement. I doubt Alex's body is any different, I believe he will gas in the later rounds if he fights the way he normally fights.

Exactly!
Either fighter could win and it wouldn’t be a suprise both quality fighters
A- for Henry for the pronunciation of Czech.😁👏
Staying away from that left hook easier said than done.
TRIPLE C , ROBERT AGAIN WRONG PICK ALEX BY TKO ,
Jeez look at that footage of jiri kicking the bag, front hand goes down every time 😬
jiri all the way mark my words
Anytime anyone has an opinion
Brenden Schaub - "me too"
DID THAT FIRST BIASED BRAZILIAN SAY THAT GROUND GAME IS JIRI STRONG SUIT? EXCUSE ME YOU MEAN THE JIRI THAT TOOK THE BELT FROM THE GUY AKA GLOVER WHO TRAINS YOU WITH A REAR NAKED CHOKE!!! ISNT GLOVER A BLACK BELT IN BJJ?
Great fight! oh what a great fight. Jiri is an amazing fighter but Alex will win this one.
Last Jamal Hill interview he picked Alex
Jiri chin is really sus
I'll go for Jiri, on this one. It will be close though.but jiri is very clever.
oh..i felt that😢
Alex gonna be tought, but Jiri is from another planet! You will all see at Saturday night, Jiri will be champ.
To me as a fellow Czech from Brno, hearing people try to pronounce Jiří Procházka is absolutely hilarious
Well rested Jiri looks dangerous to me. Let's see.
First time in a long time, I’m torn
GO JIRI! 👊
Jiri shadow boxes like that one guy at the gym who thinks he's a kong master
If Jiri doesn't get caught with some bullshit in the first couple of rounds, he should have a serious advantage later on. It takes a lot of time for the body to adjust and keep up with the amount of energy it requires to move around and do stuff when there's suddenly an extra dozen pounds of muscle involved in every movement. I doubt Alex's body is any different, I believe he will gas in the later rounds if he fights the way he normally fights.
Brendan’s spot on about him being similar to Tony !
Only thing schaub has been right about
uh no
If glover was washing u up jiri, then I’m sure poatan is coming w the pressure washer this Saturday
Of course Henry is gonna say it's Jiri because he trained with him lol
Alex will be so frustrated watching Jiri taking his punches but still pressing forward and humiliating him. Im so sorry for Alex.
Glover beat Jiri, so, I want to see what you are saying
@@MrElpajita Yes, he did the same thing to Glover. Oh poor Alex.
If Jiri can keep his hands up he wins hands down. If he doesn’t protect his head Alex will KO him in 2nd round.
hands up isn't magic. neither is Alex left hook. Hands down lets Jiri see better, move better, and attack better.
Brain says Alex. Gut says Jiri.
I think Jiri KO's Alex in round 1. This is Jiri's comeback after injury, he's coming for blood!
call me crazy but i think you are in LOVE WITH Jiri !! you would say any non-sense to make your boyfriend look good hahahahahaha
Alex and Tom on the parlay? Or Alex and Sergei?
Alex and segei for sure
I want jiri, but it's gonna be hard for him
The first guy really said Prorasha instead of Prochazka :D
I think Alex will win, but I wont count Jiri out. It'll be a good fight.
After JIRI will win this fight with beautiful fight and brutal KO everybody will speak diferent. You
Jiri 💯
Pereira IS going to destrói Jeri i think but love the two good Lucky both Man and Hope they get paid
Jiri, Victory!
Vítězství!!!
Love jiri but in every fight he gets hit ALOt... n pressure fighter not good style v periera. Hes gonna run onto something. Lets see if he stands up to it
Chama 🔥Poatan
Jiri needs to keep his hands up against periera
Alex has a grappling disadvantage but I don’t think Jiri will be able to get to him
Jiri has a better chin and cardio. Thats for sure
easy money easy fight for alex pereira. the fight wouldnt even go distance alex is gonna knock him out. Jiri exposes his chin and gets clipped alot and weve seen it too many times but when ur opponent is Alex thats gonna cost him big time
Jiri 100% Finalización, Un Semipesado Natural , Alex Solo Knockea A Tipos Más Pequeños
Whys cejudo hitting the Usman whisper 😂
Jiri by Submission. Renato got it all wrong when he said Jiri wont shoot for takedown.
Brendan Schaub is talking as if AP is a BJJ black belt while forgetting that Jiri have fought Glover before.
