I'm not sure if anybody else had this problem, but I have a terrible memory. Writing letters to myself and practicing journaling helps me retain memories and I can revisit them anytime I'd like.

I cut off a slim strip of the sticker backing on a couple of sides and "test it" in place. If I love it, I might stick it all the way down, or just leave it that way to easily change out later. I also photocopy a couple of planner pages and use that as my faux planner for a few days. When I get back into the real book, it's full steam ahead. Thank you for the terrific video!

I feel like it’s all going to be so messed up, so if I write it down and it changes, then somehow I’m failing. But that’s not really how it is. So, to enhance my calm every time I open my Weeks, I found a couple stickers. One says “There is something good in every day.” The other says “Don’t stop dreaming.” Those are just the reminder I need each day, and using stickers makes me happy. I’ll try to use some each day, even if writing down events and to-do’s gets messy.
I love stickers! I was also stressed about making a mistake or smudging ink. Stickers make me happy. I wanted to leave you with another quote that really changed my outlook on life... "Don't call it a dream. Make it a plan"

Love your idea of the full-page stickers on the front covers. And I really love the idea of saying Hello to your planner. Okay, now, I have to find a good sticker book. I read a review on Amazon that said the stickers in the book you’re using don’t adhere very well. Have you experienced this with yours? Thanks for giving us a gentle shove, this morning. 😊

I am now on try #4 of 2023 planning. LOL. I'm back in the Hobonichi Cousin A6 to track my work tasks. I put the B6 stalogy back on the shelf. Screw it. I'm tired of not being able to see the lines. I've switched the Leuchtturm A5 from being my journal to being my art/hobby/commonplace notebook. And for personal planning.... I ditched the two Hobo Weeks' because I realized I don't actually need a personal planner. Everything I do is on a schedule that hasn't varied in years. My bills are all on autopay. My AM and PM routines are automatic. I'm not going to forget that garbage pickup is on Wednesdays. I can tell when I walk past them whether the litterboxes need to be changed. The next time I have a doctor's appointment, I'll put a sticky in the work planner. I was making things waaaaay too difficult. Sometimes you need to be free to NOT plan. I'm really liking the art/hobby/commonplace book. If I feel like I need to make a journal entry, I'll do it on scrap paper and throw it in the trash where it would eventually end up anyway.
I have that same pencil pouch, and love it so much! Just went to the Washi Tape Shop and got that pastel grid tape set along with a couple other goodies! Happy New Year and day one in your planner!

This video doesn't really apply to someone setting up an entire bullet journal but I still watched it and might do the letter thing on a different piece of paper bc it feels so weird describing yourself for some reason 🙈
True! This is for the preprinted planner girlies I guess. That's also totally fine to do things on a separate piece of paper, you could tape it in or just keep it in the back of the bujo!
If you take your planner with you rather than leaving it at home please don't put your address or any personal or sensitive information in it. If the wrong person were to happen to find your planner they wouknow where you live and when you will be home and not be home amongst other things you wouldn't want to share.

💛 I needed to see this - I’ve gotten so bad that I’m reluctant to use pen anymore. The expectation of/desire for perfection can be paralyzing.
