I travelled to Port Barton in 1997. It may seem like it has not changed but watching your footage it has changed so much. I have to agree with your impressions, it was a great place to visit. If you have not done it already, take a boat out to some of the islands.

Port Barton is a wonderful place at half northern westcoast in PH Palawan. Super beach and romantic sunset! Soft builded houses in wonderful nature areas. No party scene, but secret top tip für couples and families. Interesting kitchening and best PH seafoods.

Spent 3 days there. Had electric for about total 12 hours. Wifi about 4 hours. But it was worth it. We did pvt tour for 800php. Got to each island and waterfall before anybody else. They was working on the road entry to brgy when we was there last November. Its definitely off the beaten path. Each place we ate was good. Beer was cheap. Its definitely one of better places in palawan!

That place does look amazing though, really relaxed is my style. Can't stand the city. M'be 'cause I've lived in the city for far too long.
