Why are they so wobbly when I take them off the wheel? I went thicker thinking it'd be more stable, but it wasn't. The one I threw before this just sat down on itself.
@@Cobra_Laser_Face the best way is to really use a Bat. However you could use water all over the wheel head and when you cut off the pot to hydroplane the pot off the edge of the wheel onto your hand. I've also seen people put a piece of paper on the rim of the pot to make an air tight steal with the moisture of the clay. Making it a sealed container sort of. The trapped air would give a bit of pressure back when trying to life the pot if the paper holds.
Those walls look really good! Thick but good. Only slightly thicker where the clay and the wheel head meet.

@WhistlingDixiePottery I tried the paper before, but I don't think I made sure the edge was air-tight. One day, I'll break down and buy some bats.
