Thank you for the detail steps. I got the qianli programmer. Did the steps on your video, passed the test with the tag on cable but after I installed it trying to setup face id it will show move higher or lower prompt. Took it out tried setting up with the display on the side using a extension cable but still same issue. Any suggestions on what I might do to resolve the issue? Update: Figured it out. I used another qianli tag on flex. Followed the same instruction and everything worked as expected. Thank you for the video...
Thanks for this comment.. i wish i knew earlier to buy more tag on flex's. I messed up a customers iphone 11 face id when using to much rubbing alcohol taking out battery. I tried these steps in the video, but i still got the move up/down error. Its possible i may have just messed up the camera and i shoud have tried changing that first. But Quanli face id board did detect errors, except i think when i tried to repair it the results were not the same as in video. I amtemted to solder the chip onto a new flwx next, but i cracked the enclosure when trying to remove it, i didnt realize the glue was so tough on there... My question is, if we try this method and it fails (as well as trying addition tags), is soldering the chip onto a new flex still an option, i would guess with a new tag on flex. or is that poinless now since we perhaps have wiped the chip?
I just got the programmer and it’s great. After programming the tag on flex I installed everything into the iPhone but Face ID still doesn’t work. The Face ID module hasn’t been damaged in any way. The iPhone a am working on is an 11 pro. I’ve heard that the iPhone has to be updated in order for this to work and I wanted to see if that was true. It’s currently running iOS 13.3 and I don’t want to update it but I want to know if that is the problem with it.
@@FIXDPHONES I’ve tried an iPhone X on iOS 12 and the 11 pro on iOS 13 and they both won’t work. But I know for a fact that it will work on iOS 15 on onward.
Just wondering if you could help so i was getting boot loop and i came to conclusion that it was the proximity sensor and i swapped that out for a new one but obviously i have lost face id to fix this could i use a clone-dz03 or do i have to solder the old sensor back on any help is appreciated.
I was wondering if you still sell iPhone parts? I’m in need of a front camera module for an iPhone 7 Plus. I live in Eagle Mountain and could come to you.
hi! awesome video! already got the programmer but i cant make the cloudBackup, so i cant continue with the process, is there something im missing maybe from the installation or something else i should do? thanks beforehand
You need to connect the phone to the computer while the programmer is connected with the dot projector. Once you trust the computer on the iPhone it will allow you to do a cloud backup
I was fixing my phone and by fluke tore my flex cable ... now my phone keeps shutting off... If I relpace the cable do I need to have it programmed cause it is severed or should I just replace the screen?
No, this tool isn’t designed for the proximity sensor assembly, it’s for the front facing camera assembly (specifically the dot projector) for a torn cable on the proximity assembly you’ll need to solder the proximity component over to another original flex cable to retain Face ID
Hi bro…please i have a question??… can i still read the data from an original dot matrix flex cable that has a very little tear or cut, is it possible to read the data with a programmer
Try downloading the most recent update for the software as they fixed some of these bugs, otherwise that issue can occur when the dot projector is sufficiently damaged to not be read and solder work would need to take place to get Face ID back. I hope it’s just software in this case.
I guess it would depend on why its bootlooping and what kind of boot loop. This Repair typically wouldnt be for any type of boot loop. Is it a constant bootloop or a 3 min bootloop?
It’s not a matter of programming the Face ID, it’s already programmed by apple. The issue is the phone can’t read it and by using this tool you can copy and program the tag on flex to bypass and make the dot projector function. I hope to demo directly programming the Face ID when they come out with a method to do it without a tag on flex
Really good tutorial 👍
Thank you!

Would this work for the infrared camera? or just the projector?
Please wat dose this mean trying to activate
2:05 Non-wire detection, please remove the extension cord, or use a chip to repair it?

I don't think it should be affected by running an old iOS. Its worth the try as the worst that can happen is it still wont work.

Can we write the data to a new projector dot ?! Or it has to be the same one with tag flex ?
Great work. I have tried this with the same programmer on two iPhone X but both were saying I2c shorted. Non worked. Any solution sir

Got a lot of other work to do and would rather outsource this. do you have a company that does repairs like this?
Thank you very much, it really works!!!
Hi. Would it be possible to re-record a serial on another substitute infrared camera with this device?

Looks quite easy, but I have a concern about message in 3:46 about remaining burns. Does it mean that you have to buy some kind of credits?
I haven’t had to, I was concerned as well but it keeps on working every time.
Is it possible with replacement logic board?
Derek what's the difference between this and the icopy plus in regards to this specific repair
Not really an difference. They are both by Qianli so they do the same thing. The iCopy can just do more but also costs more.

Hey am I able to do this without the original speaker assembly? The flex cable broke on it. This is for the iPhone X

Hi bro…please i have a question??… can i still read the data from an original dot matrix flex cable that has a very little tear or cut, is it possible to read the data with a programmer
Probably not, it might still be recoverable but it will need to be soldered to a good flex to access the data.
@@FIXDPHONES ohhh great…is there a process to it

why dont you just directly program the faceid and have to use tag on flex?

I can not register, cant get verification code
Check your spam folder, coming from China sometimes it goes straight into there.
