If you watch the video , you will be able to see how these 3 incredible guys Inter act in an exchange of awesome harmony from Baritone to Falsetto higher and higher , they were Awesome, how sad they passed away too soon ( Barry is the only survivor ) ••••. By the way ( Maurice ) the one that sings with his hat on , he was the multitalented instrumentalist, he played piano, Guitar , Bass, etc , and he was the master mind behind Nights on Broadway , he was very quiet and humble just like his brothers , these guys were very humble , very different to all those stuck up guys , The Bee Gees we’re very Special, congratulations for loving the music we grew up with on the 70s and the 80s , the awesome Times of Yesterday .
Quincy Jones said this is one of the best R & B songs of all time. I have to agree. The interacting falsettos are just beyond belief as to how good they are in this.
I've been a bee gees fan for over 40 years. And I still don't get tired listening to them. And I love watching younger generations reactions!! Thank you for sharing♥️♥️🎶🎵🎶
This vocal and musical masterpiece is probably my absolute favorite, out of my many many favorites!!! I think this is one of the greatest compositions ever in music history ❤
They asked the housekeeper what her name was & she said fanny.so thats where the name came from. She was their house keeper from the studio. Thanks hap👍👍🥰🥰
Fanny was the name of the Gibb Brothers house cleaner when they stayed at 461 Ocean Blvd North Miami the song was going to be called Be Tender with My Love and Maurice said it would be better with a woman's name in the title and he turned round and Fanny was in the room so her name was used.peace out.
Glad they did, it's a beautiful song with a very popular Latina name in it, my small third world country town population 200 people back on the 80's, we were 3 girls with the name of Fanny there... imagine that! I believe it's originally from France, cannot get tired from this song.
That was definitely Barry, that was in the background. To me Barry could do about anything with his voice. All the Gibb Brothers are fantastic. Great reaction, continue down
This is in my top 5 favorite songs from the Bee Gees because you can really hear the different nuances that each brothers voice adds to the harmony. IMO nobody does it better.
This song is beyond amazing and I can't listen to it without singing along (badly!). Great reaction Hap. Maurice said in an interview that the bit "you know how easy it is to hurt me" is Barry and Robin singing the same tune together and when they do that they sound like one person but different to each on their own.
To be fair, they did not have perfect pitch. They had a good hearing and memory of what their song and tempo should be like though. They also couldn't read and write music. They played their instruments by memory and played it to somebody else who'd translate it to sheet music for the band and session musicians. They were just really good at making it all songs sound smooth and solid.
Their voices are kind of intoxicating..Why drink a glass of wine (or anything else) to feel that way, all you have to do is listen to Bee Gees' songs.. you can even sing with them and not care 👍 (which is great, Go for it, many of us tried it at some point 🙂)
This was one of the first songs the Bee Gees did after they discovered their Falsetto voices on Nights on Broadway. Barry said at first he didn't want to keep using the Falsetto. Robin and Maurice were able to pursuade him the producers and fans wanted it,
And in case anybody wonders, I would definitely stand out all night in the rain for Barry. Great complicated song with many layers only to make us love it more.
I agree it's an unusual name, but such a beautiful song. One of my favorites by them. Thanks for reacting to it. Run to Me is another nice Bee Gees song.
One of their best but most underrated songs at the time because the DJ’s back then hated playing it. The sound was ahead of its time in 1976 because of its heavy falsetto effect and the DJ’s were still mind set on the old leftover hippie hard rock crap from the 1960’s. They didn’t want to change and embrace the incoming disco era that was inevitably already in its infancy.
Such an awesome song! There is so much going on performance wise, but they make it seem so easy. The BeeGees are just magical. That's all there is to it! Great reaction, Hap!
That is why I love this song so much. It is so complex, but it's effortless for them. Every time i listen to it , I pick on different little nuances that I missed prior. It truly is one of their best works.
You can Really go down the Rabbit Hole with the Bee Gees m.So many amazing songs in so many genres across 5 decades. BTW they did not choose the cover art on the album I really enjoyed your reaction. This song is mainly sung by Barry in his different vocal styles. Such a brilliant talent!!!
For me it’s the best of all the Bee Gees world… Barry’s wonderful baritone and his effortless falsetto, glorious harmonizing and both Mo and Robin get to show off their falsetto chops as well. I did giggle at the name as well though, even being from Texas I knew that Fanny was slang for something naughty in the UK..
From what i heard barry said in an interview that it was working on this album, recording Nights on Broadway that he discovered his signature falsetto voice and this song was the first one they made specifically for that voice
This is one of my favorite Bee Gee songs. The song was originally supposed to be Be Tender With My Love but one of the brothers wanted to put a woman's name at the forefront. They had a housekeeper named Fanny do they used her name. Thus, we have Fanny Be Tender With My Love!!!
Well, how nice to see you again in this case with Bee Gees, one of the group that I like si much and hear in my twentys (now i'm 63) Fanny (be tender with my love) is a fantastic song, amazing chorus and great ending with the three brothers singing at high level It's in album "Main Course", in my opinion in my Top 3 of all Bee Gees albums it's with the previous "Mr Natural" album the transition between the ballads and pop music to sound disco music that exploted in "Saturday Night Fever" movie I want to suggest two songs: 1) "Nights on Broadway" in the same album, the best of this LP 2) "Mr Natural", from the album before (1974), the song that made the change in Bee Gees style, and the most underrated These two songs are in my Top 5 In both songs,as here in Fanny ..., You can see how the three brothers shine with his voices, solos and chorus
My mom almost didn't let me buy that album because of the cover. 🤣 She loved the songs. I wore it OUT! I was 15. One year before I met my one and only.
They really know how to pull you in. Just when you think you've heard everything they can do you move on to the brilliance of their next masterpiece. It think the lower part was Maurice. I saw them singing it a couple of days ago.
Yes. These guys are amazing. They’re like no other! You need to go on TH-cam and watch the video of them singing so you can tell which one is singing at what time. It’s one of the first times that I got to see Maurice singing. But sometimes they all sound so good and the video is a little bit blurry but you’re not 100% sure who is singing which part but you get a pretty good clue if you watch the video.
That deep voice is Barry. Such a great song they are all great. Love them so much. Thank you, I can see you genuinely love the songs and music. Great reaction!!!
The live version is so much better as in you get to see Robin and Maurice singing with Barry...all of which you heard in this clip. Definitely one of my favourites too along with "For Whom the Bell Tolls" :)
I always liked how the music and their voices layered upon each other as the song “built” upon itself throughout the record. Just shear’ 70s music perfection by The Bee Gees!
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, so beautiful! I didn't know this one... I know, I know, shame on me! How is that possible? But now, thanks to you, Hap, I've heard it, and quite like it. Thanks my friend, for always introducing great music to us all (well, to me at least 😂😂😂)
What a great reaction. This song is right up there with Too Much Heaven and Love So Right for me. Please consider "Love So Right". I don't think you will be disappointed. It showcases Barry and the brothers with their great falsettos. I have heard that the deep voices are Barry and Robin singing in unison. Keep on reacting and enjoying the music.
Heard others comment on this song. Your comments are amazing for this! Never thought of it before but the “give and take” in the rhythm matches the lyrics and theme. This is a beautiful song with such smooth vocals.
You'd play it from the disco table at a smoking hot dance club. Girls in spagetti strap dresses, really high heels and big hair with guys in tight pants and silk shirts open to the waist to show off their big gold chains. Sexy. Really takes me back! It would be a good party theme, too.
Great reaction HAP. i just love the BEE GEES. I got a BEE GEE song for you if you would like its called YOU STEPPED INTO MY LIFE Its another good song. To me this song is a happy go lucky song. You cant go wrong with these guys. Wait I got another song its called LOVE YOU INSIDE OUT. Wait I better stop or I will be suggesting all of their songs to you to do. Thank you HAP. Take care and have a good evening. Yiur girl, QUEEN BEE.
Another comment I like so much Bee Gees, but I love ABBA, don't forget their songs (and your fans) You give us the video with "Mamma Mía" and hope to continue the history with Fernando Dancing Queen Knowing me knowing you Take a chance on me Chiquitita Gimme gimme gimme The winner takes it all Super trouper One of us all this songs was #1 #2 or #3 in UK official charts, and greatest song too Thank you so much for your nice kind of person I hope You return to ABBA songs I wish You a great week GOD bless you and stay safe
You really need to listen to these songs by them - "One", "Edge of the Universe", "(Our Love) Don't Throw it All Away", "Ordinary Lives", "Tragedy", "Alone"
It's my favorite BeeGees song and I grew up on them. I love how intricate the harmonies are and Robin & Barry are switching up their falsettos. I hear it was their Mother's favorite song of theirs as well.
If you watch the video , you will be able to see how these 3 incredible guys Inter act in an exchange of awesome harmony from Baritone to Falsetto higher and higher , they were Awesome, how sad they passed away too soon ( Barry is the only survivor ) ••••. Best song, ever!!

That chorus is a banger - QUINCY JONES described this song as one of the best Rnb tunes he had ever heard - high praise.
This song can't help but touch your heart !!!
Greatest group of ALL TIME!
WRITTEN FOR THE CLEANING LADY AT THE RECORDING STUDIO
This vocal and musical masterpiece is probably my absolute favorite, out of my many many favorites!!! I think this is one of the greatest compositions ever in music history ❤
Love it. Genius. Ok please, 'You Win Again"
They asked the housekeeper what her name was & she said fanny.so thats where the name came from. She was their house keeper from the studio. Thanks hap👍👍🥰🥰

@@FANLIZable Fanny is also a African American name.......Both of my grandmothers have the name of Fanny!!!.....Much love always
@@Tiffonique so nice to know, thanks 😊

Fantastic.
I’m a huge fan from the early 70,s ❤️🎶❤️🎶
They had perfect pitch, all four of them did, too include Andy. Is why they could harmonize so beautifully.
They had *relative pitch*. That's what great singers have, particularly family singers.
My top 3. Listen to these harmonies. Wait for it at around 7;30 minutes in. Sweet Jesus ♥️😌♥️
Very good!! React HOW CAN YOU MEND A BROKEN HEART live one nigth only Bee Gees..
I’m sure the deep voice is Maurice, and Robin is singing the Fanny be tender with my love 😍
Their voices are kind of intoxicating..Why drink a glass of wine (or anything else) to feel that way, all you have to do is listen to Bee Gees' songs.. you can even sing with them and not care 👍 (which is great, Go for it, many of us tried it at some point 🙂)

So many layers of sounds and voices in the song.
My favorite Bee Gees song. Its so beautiful I could listen to it on repeat for hours lol. Great reaction as always ❤❤
Fanny is a nickname for Francis it was a funny title for a song 🎶 and Love The Bee Gees!
The reallylow voice is Barry!!❤❤❤
You noticed. Yes this song takes many paths. Absolutely one of their greatest and my favorites.
And in case anybody wonders, I would definitely stand out all night in the rain for Barry. Great complicated song with many layers only to make us love it more.
That amazing strong baritone voice is Barry.... I got nothing against his falsetto....but I LOVE his real voice so much more
I agree it's an unusual name, but such a beautiful song. One of my favorites by them. Thanks for reacting to it. Run to Me is another nice Bee Gees song.
Watch the videos! You and everyone else will enjoy it much more!! You’ll find much more Charisma, if you watch them!!❤
"Pavarotti "was definitely Barry. This has always been one of my favorite of their songs. Great review
I think it’s Barry coming in with the strong “well it’s all that I’ve got”- another winner!
What???? You’re not going to show the video?? This is the best video of theirs,.....EVER!!! Do it again, man!!
You already know I love this one. Thanks so much 😍💓
Amazing Artist! JUST amazing!!!!
You need to check out the official video of Fanny Be Tender also. It’s exactly what you’d expect from the 70s! Excellent song ❤️
Sick bass
Brilliant reaction. I love how you try to comprehend the brilliance of the bee gees. It is at times indescribable to define the bee gees
Paul McCartney said this is the most beautiful love song, ever!! Watch this live dude!! You ll love it if you do!!
Hit #12 on the US Billboard charts, but here in Canada, it hit #2 on the charts in 1976
Such an awesome song!
Very good analysis sir. Incredible music and enjoyable feel with this song.
That deep voice was Barry. He had quite a range.
For sure one of my favorites from the Bee Gees. Thanks for reacting❤
No problem 😊
You can Really go down the Rabbit Hole with the Bee Gees m.So many amazing songs in so many genres across 5 decades. BTW they did not choose the cover art on the album I really enjoyed your reaction. This song is mainly sung by Barry in his different vocal styles. Such a brilliant talent!!!
Fanny was cleaning the studio
Robin thought the song needed a girls name added to the song. So Fanny got the honor

💜🌹💜🌹💜🌹💜🌹 loved ur reaction to this song!!! I started falling in love w/ the Bee Gees. Glad ur digging into more of the Bee Gees!
Amazing music and song 🎶🎼🎤🎶 Your reactions and interpretations are great 👍👏 Thank you very much 🍀
This is one of my favorite Bee Gee songs. The song was originally supposed to be Be Tender With My Love but one of the brothers wanted to put a woman's name at the forefront. They had a housekeeper named Fanny do they used her name. Thus, we have Fanny Be Tender With My Love!!!
Well, how nice to see you again
in this case with Bee Gees, one of the group that I like si much and hear in my twentys (now i'm 63)
Fanny (be tender with my love)
is a fantastic song, amazing chorus and great ending with the three brothers singing at high level
It's in album "Main Course", in my opinion in my Top 3 of all Bee Gees albums
it's with the previous "Mr Natural" album the transition between the ballads and pop music to sound disco music that exploted in "Saturday Night Fever" movie
I want to suggest two songs:
1) "Nights on Broadway" in the same album, the best of this LP
2) "Mr Natural", from the album before (1974), the song that made the change in Bee Gees style, and the most underrated
These two songs are in my Top 5
In both songs,as here in Fanny ..., You can see how the three brothers shine with his voices, solos and chorus
Fanny brought me to your channel to 😁😁😁😁
Funny name but such a beautiful song 💙💜💙
It was the 60s & 70s, man. That explains the song title and the record sleeve. 😉

Love your reactions
The live version is so much better as in you get to see Robin and Maurice singing with Barry...all of which you heard in this clip. Definitely one of my favourites too along with "For Whom the Bell Tolls" :)
Love it when you say "Blimey "
That was Barry singing without using his falsetto...
Maurice and Robin were doing most of the falsetto on this song...
A LOVELY UPBEAT LOVE SONG! A VERY LIGHTHEARTED, HAPPY REACTION!!💜🤗🎶
Wow huge reaction. A real treat to see your react with such a bliss. This song is so nicely inspired by Marvin Gaye; a delight.
There's a song of them, called 'Lovers'. All three of them with leadvocals in it. And very catchy!
My very fave song of theirs.
There is an amazing live video of them performing this
Aww...you worry to much...everything is good...😁
What a great reaction.
Love so Right is a beauty, too.
Great reaction!

I've never heard this one before. I like their lower voices.
Awesome seeing appreciation for this music! Great job!
Sooo many layers you should see the video n see all melodies harmonies n the instruments its packed with everything luv them...
"Fanny" was one of their housekeepers ... but there is NO scandal associated with the name being part of the song.
Main Course is a great album
There’s a video of them singing this and you can see who’s singing which part 💜
All without auto tune ❤️🇬🇧
You'd play it from the disco table at a smoking hot dance club. Girls in spagetti strap dresses, really high heels and big hair with guys in tight pants and silk shirts open to the waist to show off their big gold chains. Sexy. Really takes me back! It would be a good party theme, too.
Fanny was a common nick name for Francis in the old days.
Marvellous isn't it.👍
Great reaction HAP. i just love the BEE GEES. I got a BEE GEE song for you if you would like its called YOU STEPPED INTO MY LIFE Its another good song. To me this song is a happy go lucky song. I hope You return to ABBA songs
I wish You a great week
GOD bless you and stay safe
I have not forgotten. Thank you friend.
Amazing ain't it? This song has so much depth to it.
Robin sings the high parts!! Watch it LIVE! Robin is the one in the back, wailing!!!
Barry has that deep voice. He also does a lot of the mid and falsettos.
Fanny was actually the name of one of the brothers housekeeping staff I think
You really need to listen to these songs by them - "One", "Edge of the Universe", "(Our Love) Don't Throw it All Away", "Ordinary Lives", "Tragedy", "Alone"
My fav too
When you mentioned who was singing in the back, well it is Barry actually :)
It's my favorite BeeGees song and I grew up on them. I love how intricate the harmonies are and Robin & Barry are switching up their falsettos. I hear it was their Mother's favorite song of theirs as well.
“Cuz it’s all that I got and my love won’t desert me” is ROBIN, he has two different voices in this song❤️
In the south, Fanny is or at least was, a common name for a girl. But a lot of people went there with you. The song speaks for itself
