- One of the most amazing miraculous aspects of the Quran is what's known in Arabic as "التناسب" (the cohesion between Ayaat & Suwar)
**IN THIS LESSON (Surat Ad-Duha aayaat 1-3)**
1- We'll begin by drawing 10 parallels between Surat Ad-Duha & the previous Surah (Al-Layl)
2- Why did Allah begin Surat Ad-Duha with the mention of the day as oppose to the previous Surah which began with the night?
3- What is the fundamental lesson of this Surah?
4- What is the reason of revelation of this Surah?
5- What does the day & night refer to?
6- What is the relevance of the oath (day & night) to the lesson of this Surah?
7- Why is the verb "Saja" the best to describe the night in this Surah?
8- How does Allah show amazingly LOVE, HONOUR & MERCY to the Prophet in aayah 3?
Tafsir of Juz Amma by Abu Bakr Zoud, lessons conducted every Saturday after Maghreb Prayer (5 min after Iqamah) at ASWJ Lakemba Musallah.
The focus of this series will be more of a linguistical, literary approach:
Exploring:
1- Deeper meanings of the ayaat from a grammatical aspect, meanings that are lost in the English translations.
2- To demonstrate the cohesive flowing nature of the Quran, how it's all one unified argument.
3- The precision of word choice, why a specific word is used, as opposed to other words that have the same meaning.
