Excellent tutorial. These are sometimes tied with two stripped stems as antennae. This is far from just a still water pattern. Floating like a cork, it excels on the fast, broken water of freestone and tailwater rivers. I have, at times, had to stop using the Goddard Caddis because the trout were taking it so aggressively they were swallowing the fly.
