I just love when you ladies hang out.Laney really has come along way with not being shy "as she says on camera".You all have a natural flow! Love all her new treasures.Alice did a beautiful job with the cabinet. And my two favorite collections nope make it 3 😁 the bowl, baskets and braclets!I have a finger panty box with the same color as Laney's.Very unusual color.Always much fun hanging out with you ladies.🕊️💚PS I have stash drawers, closets and I stuff things in baskets, bowls, and crocks that are high up on display 😁
I really enjoyed this video. I bought an antique basket at Gathered Treasures in Ohio. I love it and it was lined. Now obviously the fabric was not in great condition, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I really enjoyed this video! I love the friendship you have .❤ you ladies are so energetic, and fun!! maybe next time cousin Mel can join you.miss her☹️thank You Anne, for another great tour. Sending much love ❤stay safe
This was great! You 3 are such precious ladies! I love all Lanie’s beautiful collections and Alice did a wonderful job of selecting the perfect items to display in the old cabinet! Thank you, Anne, for sharing the fun you all had in making this video!❤
Always love seeing Lanie's home and all her wonderful Prim wood items, love it all! And so much fun to watch you all together and just be yourselves having fun! Can't wait for the next one!
The baskets with the squared bottoms are called cat’s head baskets. The one over the sofa is called a winnowing basket. Love this video, thanks ladies!
What a delightful way to take an afternoon break….I so enjoy you guys ….it’s like I am right there with you and enjoying conversation about our antique passion. I’ll be looking forward to Thurs eve. Have a blessed day….thank you for bringing some fun to life.
Oh my, I was just thinking I need something that will really make me happy and turned on TH-cam. There were 3 of my favorite ladies (Mel is my 4th)!Such a fun video and I love all your collections, Lainey. Now I can't wait til Thursday at Bumpkins💝💝💝!
So this comment is coming a year later but I'm catching up on all your videos (its really hot here in Kentucky and I'm indoors) I'm loving all the information on the baskets and you three together are just great. I love Lainey's spirit and her outfit changes are always a highlight! Alice is so knowledgeable and has great decorating tips. Anne, thankyou so much for sharing and bringing joy to my day! love you all
Great video, I love all you girls! ❤❤❤ I just love looking through your beautiful homes and listening to you chat. I could feel your care & friendship with each other.
I’m with you Lainey, I’m a maximalist and love it 😂. I found the same Warren Kimball at the thrift shop! Looking back at old videos for spring and Americana fresh ideas. Love baskets, Steiff bears from Germany and have a hard time passing both up too. Great ideas, thanks ladies ❤
I have been washing dishes & cleaning my kitchen as watch this. Really enjoying video. I will have to watch again when i can sit down and not miss anything. Just enjoy you all so much & seeing all the neat items.
I love it when you all get together, but you were missing cousin Mel. I think Lainey and Alice are absolutely wonderful just like you and Mel. I love how you all decorate.
I'm just like ya'll I have a one-track mind when I'm on the hunt,I collect everything ya'll do,I wish ya'll could come to Mobile Alabama we have festivals.Alice did awesome on the decorating I love what she did.
I so love when you all get together. ❤ What fun listening to you talking about primitives, memories and laughing. One day I hope to travel from Ohio to personally shop in Country Bumpkins and meet my four favorite ladies. Missed seeing Mel. I plan on watching Thursday and buying something wonderful for my birthday. 🎉Thanks again Anne for a great video!
I really enjoyed this video!! You all have so much fun together! Would you mind sharing your paint colors Lainey? Especially loving the mustard in your kitchen!! 💛
What a great video, I thoroughly enjoyed every minute Anne!! I love learning from the BEST...Lainey and Alice!! Looking forward to Thursday especially the Redware!! Love you 3 Ladies!! ❤️
Love this video I wish I could hang out with you girls !! It was fun to see what Alice did with the cupboard great ideas . Thank you girls💕Can’t wait to see the shopping video I’m looking for a old wooden bowl !! 😊
I absolutely loved watching these ladies and seeing Laineys home one day I'm coming to shop at your store I'm in Ohio but it's my goal love all you beautiful ladies tell Mel hi as well ❤❤
I have to add that after watching another video those glass cloches should not be placed on wood chips in a garden because a fire can result from the sun reflecting on the wood through the glass. Who knew? I love this video ladies, I like how Lainey emphasizes that you don't need a lot of money to decorate. Love you all.
I love the mirror shelf with candle stick holders. Definitely my aesthetic! If anyone reads this, does Lanie sell any similar candle sticks in her shop?
The was sooooo interesting!!! I wonder if the compresed canned air that you use for cleaning computer keybords would work for cleaning baskets? It is powerful but does not damage anything.
Love this visit, so fun and informative! The basket that Lanie called the “hunter basket”, here in the upper Midwest around the lakes, that is known as a trapper’s basket. The French Canadian trappers used these to carry pelts. I have one with leather straps. ❤️🧺 see you Thursday 😁😁
I love Lainey’s home and how it’s decorated! I would love to know what brand and color are Lainey’s kitchen cabinets if possible. Also what kind of paint do you use satin, flat, semi gloss? Love all your videos Anne!
It’s the question of the hour that we haven’t gotten an answer to. I had it narrowed down at one point. It’s Ben Moore and it’s a gold. Sorry, wish I could help more.
Hi girls... the print on canvas There is a machine that you take a canvas, put on a print. and it makes it looks like a painting in canvas. I have 2 . One is a colonial farm, abd one is called baby in red chair. I think they are both in Colonial Williamsburg Folk Art Collection Early 90's.
Hi, love you all ❤ I have a question. How or do you clean baskets ? I have sprayed with a natural cleaner, hosed off,and set in the sun to dry. Then I found a buttock basket with Eye of God design securing the handle. It seems very old. It also has a separater braid from short width, side to side. To separate stems I'm guessing. The main handle goes length wise and are twigs of sorts. The main structure, some kind of reeds about 1/2 inch wide. I found this along with a 5 count cone butter mold at Goodwill !! Thoughts ?
I have known of people who just buy things & literally their boxes of stuff just fill the house & are never used --- thats when collecting is enough is enough.
Anne... I'm going to take pictures of the canvas prints that I got in the early 90's. I want you to see them, so I'm going to tag you on your fb group. Is that ok,? Again... these are canvas prints of old folk art ,that are in Colonial Williamsburg folk art collection. Tell Alice hi for me. Its super hot here in Texas.
On the question when is enough enough, concerning collections. My opinion is as long as a person is displaying their collections all year or during holidays & not just buying & stuffing in a room to just sit, with the idea someday i will use that -- then collecting is still a good thing. But I have known people who just buy neat items & stuff in boxes etc & never hang the pictures on the wall, never display the item in their house all yr or seasonally or in their yard --- then collecting has reached a point enough is enough & thats when that person becomes a hoarder and not a collector. (my opinion)
I just love when you ladies hang out.Laney really has come along way with not being shy "as she says on camera".You all have a natural flow! Yes it would have been fun to have Mel there. She’s always a good time.
The blue metal basket would make a great lampshade.
Now that’s thinking outside of the box!

Does Alice own Primitive Goods?

Ann, you said 2003 instead of 2023.
