I played this game for about three years before Kabam took that massive shit all over us, and in that entire time, of all the five-star Sharkticon crystals I opened (of which there were MANY) the red shark was the only one that I wanted, and the only one I never got. After Netflix picked up the game, my first two five-star sharks were both red, so that was pretty awesome. I've got him fully maxed out.
Hello blue, why is forging of mods possible only right after ranking them up ? I ranked up one of my 4* mods and the forging option came but then I thought to forge my 3* mod but sadly unable to forge my ranked up 4* mod.
That is strange. I’ve never seen that before. I just looked and I am able to forge any mod. You should definitely be able to forge any mod into a higher tier mod regardless of rank. Just like with bots. It must be a glitch.
You start in arenas. You fight the Shark attack teams and over time you accumulate enough shards to get a 2* shark. At that point you can keep doing arenas to get shark shards, and you get higher tier sharks by forging them. So once you have a 2* shark you want to awaken it and then get its sig high by grinding the Sunday signature mission. Then you forge away that shark and you’ll earn 3* shark shards. Then when you forge away a 3* shark you earn 4* shark shards, etc. It takes a bit of time at first but it’s very doable.
@alexloo5875 the Shark attack teams usually appear on the left (but not always). They are random so sometimes you’ll see several of them in an arena session and sometimes you won’t see any. But just keep doing arenas and you will start getting them.
It’s better to think of sharks as fun than good compared to other bots. They have far less health and attack than other bots, but some of them do have pretty good abilities. They also have great synergies when running a shark team. They won’t replace your other bots but they’re fun and different.
Before you forge lower-tier sharks, make sure they're awakened and their signature abilities are maxed. A single two-star will then yield more than 8,000 three-star shark crystal shards.
You get shards for 2 star sharks by fighting the Shark Attack teams in arenas. You have to fight in arenas first. Once you start getting 2 star sharks you can get 3-5 star sharks by forging away your lower tier sharks. Forge 2 stars into 3 stars, etc. You want to get your sharks to high sig before forging them away; that gives you the most shards. It is a grind at first but it’s very doable.

@shaikhaaftab8715 completing act 4 chapter 2 unlocks galvatron and the 5 star bot store. If the story is hard then do your best to max out your top bots so that you can complete act 4 chapter 2. Once you do that you will get the most 5* shards from forging your 4* bots into 5* bots.
I’m still having fun playing casually with my friends. I know what the game is. It’s dead. But if I’m still having fun that’s all that matters. We’ll all retire for good eventually.
