I realize you did this tutorial two years ago, but I just started doing watercolor in the last few months and I attempted this one tonight and it turned out pretty darn good! I treasure your teaching skills and how good you are and I keep pulling up all your tutorials!😊
Every morning now, I drink my coffee and learn from your video!!! It's my life right now!! I have found a calmness in the storm of this crazy messed up time we are in!!! Thank you for telling us to have fun and not to be so serious!
Thank you so much, Ellen. You are a great teacher, I can learn so much from you.🙂 I am very grateful for any tutorials - I love that they are real-time.💛💛 Thanks a lot you teach us.❤️
Love your landscapes. In the beginning my paintings look like they should be thrown out.....by the end things come together and they turn out great! Thanks, Ellen!
Thanks for such a good demo. I have noticed this issue with purple color It always seems the right color when I match it with the reference, but when put down, it gives the painting a very unrealistic look , specially when it has dried. It’s like the natural pale greens and blues are saying another story and the purple another. So while I can use other colours individually and sometimes directly on paper, purple I feel like has to be mixed with some thing. Like you did at 7:43.
I love you landscape tutorials so much. My landscapes have improved so much since I watch your tutorials ❤️ Thank you so much!!! Can’t wait to try this one.
Yourself is the best teacher , Mam. Many many thanks.

You could add more blue and or just stick to grays. :)
This is so pretty. I'm going to try to paint this.
awesome, great tips
Amazing. It makes you want to jump in and find out what's at the end of this road. Thanks

I watched this twice so far, do you think I can do it? Here's hoping. Love it. A, from Oregon.
Lovely, thank you.. what is the name of the very first blue you started with? I don’t see it on the colour list. Thanks!
Do you always mix your own greens or was it just because of this particular picture?
always :)
What paper do you use?
