I think people are waking up now to the fact that Goodwill monies don't go to helping anyone but lining corporate pockets. Florida 's Goodwill prices are too high and shelves are sparse
Last week a lady ran over a turtle with her low Kia sedan. She stopped in the middle of the road as the turtle was stuck under the car . We were the only ones who stopped to help her . We managed to get him out and over the guard rail in the the direction he was heading. A nice police officer stopped traffic to make this possible.
I like seeing the clothes after you find them. I’m sorry, but I am dying 😂with laughter at your bucket story. That just sounds like something that would happen to me. My husband thinks I’m nuts 😅
I don't watch anyone who thrifts for clothing. Not my thing. But I do watch all your videos. 🥰 My dad got a plastic bag stuck under his car and had to have it removed. Noah is very handsome with his new haircut. 😊
I have to say that you look so much happier and relaxed just cruising around finding treasures now you are not tied to the shop. Doing what you do best ❤️ I hope you are enjoying the freedom. Love it ❤️ 😍 Xx
I like seeing what clothes you pick out. In fact, I like everything you record. Thank you for sharing your shopping, animals, and my favorite, Your Family!!❤ Sending you Good Vibes and God Bless You 🙏💞
No thanks on showing clothes shopping. Makes my skin crawl to hear the hangers scratch over and over. But I can always just fast forward through those parts
So many people forget to add an hourly wage into their thrifting. You're right Danni, everything has to be taken into account when selling. No matter what you are selling.
When we lived in sw Florida and my daughter was about 18 she had to straddle an armadillo on I-75 because she wasn’t able to avoid it and it ended up busting a hole in het oil pan, now that was a pricey fix for sure.
It Deh zr et. In UT, we just call it D I. And D I puts things out twice a day. First thing in the morning and then again at like 2 or 3. Resellers go crazy when the carts are brought out. It like black Friday at the thrift store.
Regarding Salvation Army closure--landlord probably went up on rent. Several Goodwill's have closed in CT due to rent going up. And a couple of Savers as well.
Not interested in the clothes. I like hard goods. The macrame looked like a woman's garment. Noah looked like Eddie Munster before his hair cut. The after was a big improvement.
I’m a senior an I like the older Spanner clothes, but not the ones in stores the past few years Babies breath would look nice you can shape it. For jewelry why not try pawn shops apparently you can pick up silver for a good price according to Laura of left coast
Those plastic egg things were for making boiled eggs. You crack an egg, put in the plastic egg then boil them. Once boiled, you open them up and have hard-boiled eggs without having to peel them! We had two Salvation Army stores that both closed a few years ago. I miss shopping there.
I don't think the clothing necessary, butt ...recap quick bought and worth and label brands to see whats good....labels are everything and purses tooo...as i don't buy either haaa.. its good to know what is valuable and in at the moment....
The big 5-gallon paint bucket was in the left lane of the freeway just past Riverside, CA on I-15 North . It’s pouring rain, and my friend hits the bucket straight on (there was a truck next to us). Anyway, her car got high-rided (I think that’s what to call it). Anyway, the car wouldn’t move without the necessary number of wheels being in contact with the road). My very blond friend did not have the wherewithal to get out of the left lane and onto the median before we lost all forward momentum, even though I was strongly suggesting it! Anyway, I end up under the car in the left lane of a busy California freeway first assessing the issue and then breaking the plastic paint can to get the car moving. Then I drove us out of there, and I’m so grateful I was the one driving when the tire blew about 100 miles later! Ugh. Roughest trip to Mammoth ever. Then, when I got home, my coworkers all whispered as I passed by and when I got to the main lab, I was told to go see the boss immediately. I had something I wanted to start first and one of my coworkers jumped up and volunteered to do it for me (odd). I reluctantly went to my boss’ office where he proceeded to inform me that my good friend in the lab committed divide over the weekend. He told me to go home, and I said If rather work and keep my mind off of it. I got back to the main lab, started working on my next thing. Not more than 20 minutes later, I was told there was a phone call for me. I was already getting very behind for the day, so I asked them to take a message. They came back and said, “You need to take this call.” I answered the phone to my good friend with a shakey voice. He informed me that a good friend of ours had passed away over the weekend (insulin overdose). One of my toughest days ever! I went home at that point. My boss had one of my lab buddies drive me home. That’s what hitting a5-gallon paint bucket in the middle of the road means to me! Believe it or not, a lot more happened that weekend, but those are the lowest of the lowlights. I have lived a life that if it was a movie, people would say, “There’s no way all of that happened to one person.” But, alas, ‘tis my life. BTW, I’m so happy you’re all safe after your experience with random junk on the freeway in the form of a 5-gallon paint bucket
I did a food pantry once and donations always slacked around this time into the summer. Then Thanksgiving and Christmas we got so many donations but it slacks off once spring comes. I guess people get busy.
Would enjoy seeing the clothes after you decide to buy them. Noah is a handsome young man, especially with the new haircut. Better keep an eye on that boy, lol! ❤
I absolutely abhor Chalk Ware; my parents used to have a huge/heavy statue of the Sacred Heart of JESUS, and over the years, it just got so many chunks out of it, and scraped chips, nobody in the family wanted to claim it; I think One of the younger guys decided to rescue it; however, never having it restored.
I think it’s a combination of less people donating and Goodwill putting all of the nice items online. Most of the Goodwills in my area have a lot of junk and very seldom do I find anything good. I tend to go to our thrift stores more than Goodwill.
No need to show shopping the dresses . The wedding cake cutting set was nice. Assume Jordan already has hers. Service station could get the bucket unstuck .
And about something stuck in your wheel-well... it's happened to me! I ran over a cone in my child's pick-up carpool lane 😂 It was really embarrassing, and the dad behind me had to help pull it out, and it was not easy. 🤦♂️
A good DI strategy is to be there when the doors open, and hang out while they bring out carts. And don't be shy. You have to get in there when the new carts come out or they will be stripped of the good stuff.
Our local thrifts are so low on stock because the are so heavily shopped. If you aren't there when the racks roll out, you're not likely to find anything.
Nice to see Noah again! Enjoyed as usual! I’ve notice the goodwills don’t have the inventory that they use to but it does matter which one you go in and the time of day! Thanks for taking us along! ❤ oh and I’m more interested in the shelves at goodwill than the clothes, just my opinion 😉
I collect tang horses. That one was quite ornate compared to those I have. I think a live at the goodwill boutique for clothes would be great. Maybe it's worth some real-time feedback.
Yes , our Goodwills are pretty sad . Luckily , in our area we have Second Avenue . They always have tons of stuff . Apparently , they were bought by Savers however . So , sometimes the prices are too high . Other days , it’s not a problem . ( One time I ran over an orange cone ….. similar situation . I was laughing remembering. Yes , it’s embarrassing. 🤪🤣Mine worked its way out eventually. lol !!! )
We were driving down the freeway and a large plastic bag was blowing across the road. There was no way to avoid it and it stuck under the car somehow and melted. It just had to melt off because you couldn’t clean it off. For a couple months we had to deal with the nauseous fumes of melting plastic. It was horrible. 🤢
Deseret is a term derived from the Book of Mormon, meaning honeybee. This name was given to a territory around 1849 in the West and Salt Lake City but was not recgonized by Congress. But not sure how it is pronounced!
I recently discovered a new to me, plant that would be perfect for your turtle planter, it's called a turtle plant , or string of hearts and its absolutely the cutest. As in your local nursery for it. Supposed to be easy grow.
Hello from New Zealand. We love watching you wander through the shops. Our charity shops here are so limited but just sometimes you find a bargain. We really enjoy your videos and ofter see something we would love !!!! to far to post to New Zealand though. Best wishes. Paul and Jackie
Our goodwills here in Orange County California are pretty dismal like you mentioned. The Goodwills here I subscribe to a text system and they are asking for donations. Sometimes I wonder if the cost of living is so high that people are holding onto what they have and waiting and those purchasing like to go to HomeGoods etc …maybe… especially when the prices are high at Goodwills …. But I still go and shop at my local Goodwills and other thrift/ charity type stores.
No clothes for me. They are disposable goods and not an investment. I only want vintage and antique items that will increase in value and are well made and unique - just me.
Me every episode to you (and the YT audience): “why didn’t you get that?! Nooo - don’t pick it up, why are you getting that. Oh that’s cute, why doesn’t she like it?, That is an awesome item! good job Danni! Squirrel! Wait, it’s over? “
Dani... You have got to g on TH-cam and search for a video short tha says Turtle uses Skateboard. Its the cutest thing i immediately thought of you... I didnt share it to you well.... Because you know how things are in this world we live in today... ❤
I ran over an orange cone at the car wash and got it stuck under my car up against the tire. LOL. Except, it was so tightly wedged that I couldn't go anywhere.

No filming of clothes shopping for me. I do enjoy seeing the results. Thanks for asking!
No for filming clothes. That's just me.
I second that!! No clothes 🙏. 💕
I agree!
Noah looked great w his haircut. I prefer looking at clothes you bought after, not digging through them.
I like seeing the clothes after you find them.

1 st way you said Deseret is the correct way to say it.
Des er et. Or just plain old DI. The DI’s in Utah stock throughout the day.
I don't care about shopping for clothing, myself. Thank you for asking!

Pottery could be a hummingbird feeder missing spout
No thanks on showing clothes shopping. Makes my skin crawl to hear the hangers scratch over and over. But I can always just fast forward through those parts
On the macrame you don’t pull anything up it just hangs from the wood dowel
That striped pottery is an upside down vase. I collect them. You hang it with a leather cord. Purely decorative.
I enjoy going through the clothes along with anything else you want to check into. It's what makes this fun.
Yes I ran over a large Cone when I was driving a Transit Bus I dragged it all the way to the Freeway where it finally fell off.🌵
That honey jarsof lid was right behind you in the picture!!
Nooooo!!!!!!!!!!!
So many people forget to add an hourly wage into their thrifting. You're right Danni, everything has to be taken into account when selling. No matter what you are selling.
You seem to ship very little and what exactly is your nich ?
Hmmm I'm shipping out about 100 packages a week! I explain in my videos often what my niche is
i like that when u are trying to bring something home, you turn the camera around. it really does get my attention and the point across! 😊 thanks!!
I love anything shopping! Yes to the clothes!

What would look nice in that turtle planter is some kind of moss or a succulent that stays very short so it realy looks like a shell. 🤔😃

Did you see the red paper weight near bathroom shelf?
Hi ours too the Salvation Army closed about 2 years ago. Be nice to film clothes buying.👍
I'm not interested in the clothes.
Hmm shopping for clothes..not so much..but I like the try-ons❤ that face mug was cool. Hi Noah your new haircut looks great!!
